Phoenix is a young woman from the 23rd century. An intelligent woman who was to become a history instructor, well that was before she got her hands on a piece of black market jewelry called 'A paired soul gem." An item that has a duplicate that allows people to be connected. Apparently the double of her gem only existed in 2013 because that's were she awoke the day after she put the necklace on for the first time.
Waking up in the body of August Green, a history teacher with a wife and child, in a time you've only read about in history books would be quite the shock. Well, shock would be an understatement. Phoenix dropped everything and left,slipping in and out of a depressive state for 2 months before returning to the house She now He woke up in. The explanation for his need of a divorce was that he had been hiding his true gay self far underneath the surface. his 'wife' took it rather well and after getting the divorce finalized let him go out on his own as long as he kept in contact, which Phoenix agreed to do.
Phoenix is currently a high school history teacher in San Francisco ,he's been there for about two years and relatively enjoys his new life, minus the occasional weird dream about returning to his old body and being in a coma.
Phoenix could always use some friends and wouldn't mind going traveling again. Maybe visiting the 23rd century or other worlds
