*Ace* A normal day from the street life

Lily was a dog, again. This time she was a white husky, wandering around. Lily was quite hungry, but she didn't say this. When she had changed, she had made sure she had no collar, and she had made sure that she looked clean and yet homeless. She loved doing that. A child nervously came up to pet her, and her mother worriedly took her away although Lily was only letting the girl stroke her. As Lily walked on, someone caught her eye. She looked on in interest.

Ace poked at her sandwich with her finger, she wasn’t really hungry when she bought it but she figured she needed to eat and it gave her an excuse to sit in the park and not talk to anyone. Not that she didn’t like people, she did, she just...she didn’t know why. “Ya, no more of this.” she pushed the sandwich away from her and crossed her arms on the table and laying her on her arms looking around.

Lily trotted over to where the woman was sitting, and sat there looking at the sandwich eagerly, begging with her eyes as she looked at the woman. She whined a little.

Ace looked over at the dog as she whined and saw the dog was eyeing her sandwich “What’s wrong bud, you hungry?” she was a sucker for animals, always had been, especially the strays. She smiled and tore off some of the sandwich and held it out for the dog. “Don’t worry, I’m not gonna hurt you.”

Lily gently took the bit of sandwich in her mouth and ate it, then she wagged her tail and barked happily at Ace.

Ace chuckled a little bit when the dog barked at her, before picking up the plate with the rest of the sandwich “Well, at least one of us will eat it.” Ace placed the paper plate with the sandwich on it on the ground for the dog “Plus, you look like you could use it more than me anyway.”

Lily ate the sandwich happily and then went to get a stick and she put it on Ace's lap and sat in front of her, tail wagging eagerly.

Ace looked down at the stick then back at the dog, “Umm, where’s your owner?” she looked around for a second before decided if the dog did have an owner they’d probably be glad the dog had stuck with someone other then wandering about. Ace took the stick in her hand and stood up “Ok then, lets play fetch” moving to the other side of the table Ace chucked the stick into an open area.

Lily followed Ace, and when she threw the stick Lily went bounding after it, catching it in her mouth before it touched the ground. She turned round again, then trotted back to Ace, and put the rather dry (meaning not drool-covered as dogs usually do) back on her lap, and she sat down to wait.

Ace smiled and picked the stick back up and was a little surprised when it wasn’t covered in massive amounts of drool "Good dog" she really needed to think of something to call the dog other than dog, reaching forward she carefully scratched behind the dogs ear "Wonder what your name is." she threw the stick again.
