Leia locked the clock shop door behind her, before walking out into the bright sunlight. A rarity in London... or any part of England really. But just in case it did decide to rain, which more then likely it would, she had her ever so trusty umbrella with her. Which she left in the now locked clock shop.... Well no ones perfect. With a shrug she pocketed the key, and walked towards the cafe determined to enjoy her so far boring Saturday.
She swung her messenger bag across her shoulders, and looked around at the people passing by. She caught one person starring at her like she was some sort of mutant, and stared back into their soul, making them look away quickly. She smiled to herself, today was one of those rare days where she decided not to wear her contacts, and let her mixed matched eyes be seen by the world. Sure people tended to look at her in either awe, or disgust, but she sure had a lot of fun starring back into their eyes making them uncomfortable. Call it a hobby...
She was jerked out of her thought process, when she bumped into someone, making her land flat on her back. "Owwww." She blinked a few times waiting for her vision to return, then looked up at the unlucky person she had bumped into with her mixed matched eyes. " I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going...." She stopped in mid sentence when she noticed how tall he was. "Dang your tall."

Nico was only half paying attention to the world around him. His mind was rather busy with trying to figure out what year it was. After his rather unpleasant encounter with Compassion, his vortex manipulator didn't work anymore, he didn't seem to have a shadow, and he was somewhere in the future. By his guess, he would say somewhere between fifteen to twenty years into the future from when he'd last been on Earth.
That being said, he began to wonder if that girl he'd met would even remember him. Emmy had a rather intense personality and he was more than aware that the night they shared would probably amount to nothing more than a one night stand. He stuffed his hands into his bockets and sighed, glancing skyward wondering if he should possibly stop by to see how Emmy was fairing when...
"Owwww."
His brows furrowed in confusion when he finally glanced at a young blond girl. Her face. She looked like Emmy, there was no mistaking that woman's face. But.. somethings were off. She had much higher cheekbones than he remembered and there was something about the shape of her eyes. And then.. He noticed the color of her eyes.. Or rather, the colors, he felt his throat dry for a moment and shook his head. A coincidence. That's all. "Eh.. You alright?" he asked.
" I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going.... Dang your tall."
He smirked and stooped down, offering his hand to help her up. "Yeah.. I get that a lot. You're not hurt or anything, are you?"

Leia took his hand, standing back to her full height. Which was still nothing compared to him. She checked her body for injuries, a few scrapes and bruises, but no broken bones. She also checked her head, knowing all to well that head injuries were a very serious thing. She couldn't exactly see anything, so she just assumed that everything was okay up there. She looked up at the person she had bumped into. “ I don’t think I’ am. At least nothing’s broken.” She smiled a little shyly.
“I’m Ev….” She noticed his eyes. They were like hers.. Same mixed matched colors. Her mother said that only her… No it couldn't be, although. Her mother had told her that her father was incredibly tall…. And had her eyes. She looked at the ground, mentally shrugging her thoughts away.
“ Sorry, I’m Evalina Bergström.” She politely extended her arm, keeping her gaze locked on the ground. She couldn't look at his eyes again, because if she did, she knew that she would hope that this was her father. And she just couldn't go through the disappointment of finding out that he isn't… not anymore. She felt something hot and wet dripping down the back of her neck, but she ignored it. “By the way I like your eyes.” She thought for a moment on how that must of sounded. “ I mean I like your eyes because…..” She took a deep breath. “ I mean, I've never seen anyone with eyes like mine before.” She finally looked back up at him.
He couldn't help but stare at her.. Bergström.. She was related to Emmy. Maybe a sister? But.. No, something seemed off. The more he stared at her eyes, the tighter his throat felt. He couldn't even seem to swallow as as he knelt down, but still towered over her slightly. He was giving her a complete once over. Emmy's lips, her nose, the general shape of her face, but her smile, her cheekbones, her eyes.. “Evalina..?” he began softly when she cut in, remarking on his eyes.
He smirked, lowering his gaze to shake his head and lifting it again to gaze at her. “They run in my family. I actually get my eyes from my mother.” he confirmed softly before his head tilted to the side, gently reaching to tuck a strand behind her ear. “You wouldn't.. happen to be related to Emmy Bergström, would you?” But as his fingers trailed through her hair, he felt something warm and wet and slowly withdrew his fingers. Blood. “Oh. Looks like you took a harder tumble than you thought.”
“They run in my family. I actually get my eyes from my mother.”
Leia smiled. "My mum told me I get my eyes from my father." Of course she could of guessed that without her mother telling her so, it was kind of obvious anyway. She giggled a little when he asked if she was related to Emmy. She was actually asked this question a lot, some people even mistook her for her mother at times. " Yes I'am. I'm Emmy's daughter." She tilted her head a little when she saw the blood on his fingers. Unfortunately she got hurt like this a lot, she was a little clumsy when it came to.... walking. It wasn't because she had lousy balance, she had wonderful balance, she just spent most of her time staring off into space daydreaming. Walking and day dreaming didn't really make a great combo.
"Oh.... Oh well. Its just a little blood, what harm could it do?" She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly, while standing up on her tiptoes so she could be at eye level with him. "Whats your name?" She quickly glanced behind him, then quietly gasped. He didn't have a shadow. Everyone has a shadow, having a shadow is like having a soul. Leia looked back at the man. "Why don't you have a shadow? Are you an alien? Are you dangerous?"
The moment those words passed her lips, he stopped listening. Everything came to a screeching halt as both his hearts skipped a beat. His eyes.. His mouth.. Emmy's face, her hair. He could feel his eyes sting and his nose stung. The precursor to tears. He disregarded her question about his shadow and suddenly pulled her into an almost crushing hug, his throat tight as he choked out an apology. "Evalina... I am so sorry. I. I didn't know. Oh God, if I had know I would have never left."
He drew back to cup her face in his massive hands. "My name is Nicodème Keâts. I.. I'm your Papa." He said that with such confidence. There was no doubt in his mind at all. Just look at her eyes. The Blue and Green were even on the same sides as his. He couldn't stop staring at her. He was a father. It seemed like only a month or so he'd been with her mother. And there this girl was, nearly an adult. And he hand't been there for her. Hearts that were only just beginning to swell with pride were suddenly breaking.
She let out a squeak of surprise, as he pulled her into the tightest hug she'd ever had. What was he apologizing for? He hadn't done anything wrong, not to her anyway. "Its okay....?" She didn't really know what else to say, and that was all the air she had left. Once he pulled away, Leia took in a big breath of air. Grateful to be able to breath again.
"My name is Nicodème Keâts. I.. I'm your Papa."Immediately the color drained from her face, and her eyes widened a little. She couldn't believe what he just said. Well, she could believe it, she just couldn't.. believe it. Her hearts were pounding in her chest, from excitement or anger she couldn't tell which. Now she really didn't know what to say, the words just wouldn't form in her mouth. Without a warning, her knees buckled from underneath her, and she fell to the ground finding it hard to breath. She still couldn't believe she had found her father.
As Evalina when to the ground in shock, his own knees gave and he hit the ground with her, still holding her in his arms. His hand reached to smooth her hair back from her face. He didn't know what to say. He was barely in his mid twenties and he had just come to realize he had a teenaged daughter. He was tempted to swear off time travel all together if it meant he would never miss out on another moment of her life.
He cleared his throat and rose to a stand, helping her to her feet as well. She must have had so many questions for him. He didn't know if he hand the hearts to answer them without breaking down. But she deserved nothing less than every moment he could offer to her. “Do you ant to get anything to eat? I'll buy.. Peppermint Ice Cream sounds pretty good right about now.” he offered gently.
Her cheeks turned a light shade of red, when she stood back up. “Sure… Peppermint ice cream’s my favorite.” She rubbed the back of her neck a little sheepishly, looking up at him. She had so many questions she wanted to ask him, she just didn't know where to start. “Are you really a Time Lord?” That was a good place to start, she thought. “Is that why I have two hearts? Do all Time Lords have two hearts?”
She started walking towards the nearest ice cream parlor, bouncing lightly along the way. Her shock was starting to fade away, and was quickly replaced with excitement. “Why don’t you have a shadow?” Leia was initially curious about this one, it was just so… alien to see someone without a shadow. “Why are you so tall?” That was something else she was curious about, she was tall for her age… but not that tall. “Did you know mum was pregnant with me before you left?” Okay, she didn't mean to be blunt with that one. But she couldn't help it… she wanted to make sure that she wasn't the reason he never visited.
