That 5 minutes turned into 12 years…and Amy had a hard time forgiving him for that at first. Then he left again, arriving back the night before her wedding. Additional medical information: Allergic to shellfish…!...? I don’t know!!
Role Play Sample:
Amy reaches for her phone waiting for Rory, Mel, or (dare she think it) The Doctor to call her. Please, someone…sooo bored. She huffs out her breath, her hair flinging from her face, and stands up. “Alright, I guess I clean, then,” she hisses under her breath. After traveling with the doctor home life just seems so…dull. Very, very, very dull. Just dull, she thought. She clunked her basket of unfolded clothes down in front of her and pulled out a shirt, grumbling incoherently under her breath.
Knock, knock, knock she hears at the door. Her heart leapt a bit, then she realized. Absolutely NO ONE should be calling at this hour. Amy bit her lip and looked around for a second, searching for anything at all that she could arm herself with. Her eyes lock onto a key, and a small smile spreads across her lips briefly. Well…it’ll do, at least, she thought. She walked slowly towards the door. That was another thing that traveling with The Doctor had taught her. Be cautious of ominous door knockers. A wide smile erupts on her lips and a giggle escapes her. Then the knock came again.
She raised her fist, the key lodged between her middle and her forefinger, and the smile disappeared. “Ok. Let’s see who it is, shall we?” She flung open the door and peered out cautiously. “I’m armed and very effing dangerous.” She yelled out the door. No one was there. Okay. Well, then… she thought. Her eyes landed on a fairly small package. She picked it up and carted it inside, laying it on the table. It felt empty. She shook it. Sounds empty, too. She peeked at the return address. All it said was C.A.P. C.A.P., she thought. Why does that seem so familiar? Then it dawned on her. “C.A.P.” she said aloud. Come along, Pond. And then she heard it. The sound that she had not heard in so long. The beautiful, yet terrifying, sound of a mad man in a blue box landing on her doorstep. She raced outside, ready to start a new adventure, she just hoped she had time for a shower.
