History: Sarah Jane was born in Foxgrove, in 1951. Her parents, shortly after this, died in a car accident, and so her aunt took over to be her guardian. Sarah Jane had, as a child and also as an adult, a phobia of clowns. Sarah Jane lost her best friend, Andrea Yates, on a school trip in 1964. She also briefly met Maria at this point, who had been sent back in time by a Graske.
She met the Doctor whilst she was a journalist, posing as her aunt in a magazine called Metropolitan. After this, Sarah Jane began to travel with him, as he regenerated into his Fourth incarnation. After many trips with her, though, the Doctor was called back to Galifrey and he had to drop Sarah Jane back on Earth.
Sarah Jane supposedly died at some point, but the Eighth Doctor reversed the effects of this, so she was right as rain once more afterward.
During this time, Sarah Jane found a crystal, which managed to get her to turn it into a computer called Mr. Smith.
She met the Doctor once again in his Tenth incarnation, whilst he had Rose as his companion. There was slight jealousy between the two at first, but they eventually became friends. Sarah Jane assisted the Doctor, Rose and Mickey in saving a school from Krillitane, who were disguised as their teachers. The Doctor offered to take Sarah Jane with them, but Sarah Jane refused this.
Sarah Jane first met Maria when the latter moved into the house opposite hers, and she met Luke while he and Maria were trapped in the BubbleShock factory with the Bane. After the factory was blown up, Sarah Jane gave in to having Luke as her adopted son, and have him and Maria assisting her to save the world.
Shortly after, when the two started school, they met Clyde, who managed to push his way into their lives. They encountered Slitheen, and Sarah Jane eventually decided to let Clyde assist them as well.
The four encountered many things such as a Gorgon, an alien named Kudlak who was snatching children, Sontarans, and all kinds of other creatures. Whilst trying to stop Kaagh, the Sontaran, Sarah Jane found out that Maria was moving to America, which devastated them all.
They met Rani afterwards, and reluctantly let her help them save the world, after an encounter with a clown, who could also become the Pied Piper.
They, too, encountered many things, and Rani became a good friend to Sarah Jane, like Maria, however Sarah Jane never considered that Rani was replacing Maria. She didn't see it like that. Luke left for University in the midst of those adventures, and for a while it was only Clyde, Rani and Sarah Jane.
Sarah Jane found Sky on her doorstep, and found out that she was a weapon to help the Fleshkind win a war. She prevented this from happening, and adopted Sky as her daughter. Sky had several adventures with them too, and afterwards met Luke. They didn't get along too well at first, but that soon changed.
Additional medical information: None.
Role Play Sample: Sarah Jane stared at the ceiling, caught up in her thoughts. Being a journalist was nice and all, but....occasionally, there was a case like this one; it was impossible to figure out anything. There were no witnesses, no suspects, nothing.
Sarah Jane sat up when she heard running footsteps up to the attic. She stood up just as her daughter, Sky, came flying in. "Sarah Jane, Sarah Jane!" she was breathless, and her eyes seemed to show that she was troubled.
"What's wrong?" Sarah Jane asked, and instantly, the mother side of her made sure that the case was the least of her worries right now.
