William was finished with work for the day, standing up as he logged his computer off after saving his work, slipped his jacket on. His computer finally shut off and made his way around his desk, scooping up the files that were ready to be handed in as the ex soldier made his way to the door. Opening it he accidently bumped into his partner, barely managing to not drop the files, “I am heading out Laddie, my fiancé wants me home so that we can head out to dinner.” With that William made his way past Nate and made his way to the stairs. The man quickly made his way down, once at the bottom of the steps he made his way of to the secretary’s desk, “Hello love, these are ready for you.”
“Excellent..” The secretary said as she took the files, being careful to not drop them, “So what do you think of Sherlock?”
William put his hands into his pockets and shrugged, he got the job two weeks ago, and started working three days ago, “Honestly.. Nate sure can be an ass.. Why is he that way anyways?” He asked the secretary.
The woman shrugged, “No one knows why, it may just be his personality.” She said as she put the files into a filing cabinet and handed William a couple more, “Here you are. Do you have any plans for tonight?” The woman asked sweetly.
William took the files and held them under his arms, “Well I am meeting my girlfriend at a restaurant and then well since we both have work tomorrow we cannot exactly have any sleep overs.” He looked at the files then back to the woman, “Thanks. I will take a look at them when I get home tonight.” The man then made his way to the door. Stepping out he looked around as he saw that it was raining lightly, “Oh.. brilliant. Just love the rain.” And indeed he did, he found that the rain made life in a hectic city much more peaceful.
Walking up to the street he whistled at a cabbie, which pulled up and stopped. The man quickly climbed in, “213 Browning Street.” William told the cabbie driver.

Handing the cabbie driver the money that he owed for the ride, “Thank you! Have a good night!” William yelled through the roaring rain then turned around and ran up to the door of the building. Fishing the keys out of his pocket, he quickly unlocked the door and stepped inside as he opened the door. Running his hand through his soaked hair that was turned a shade or two of brown than his normal hair color, “It is just me Mrs. Stacey!” The man yelled as he made his way up the stairs that will lead up to his flat.
Stopping outside his door, the man unlocked it and quickly made his way inside. He had every reason to be in a rush, after being late to the date the last time; he wanted to be on time or early. Dropping the files onto his small dining table made his way over to the refrigerator , opening the door he pulled out the carton of milk and took a gulp or two of the milk, leaving a small milk stash on the top of his lips as he put the carton back in and wiped his mouth off with his hand as he made his way to the bedroom, closing the door behind him.

Sometime later the man was running through the rain from where the cab driver dropped him off, about a block away from the restaurant by mistake. Stopping outside the door he noticed that it opened and with it a woman stepped out, “Will? Wow look at you!” She said and put her arms around him in a hug.
William naturally put his arms around her and hugged back gently, “Sorry I’m late the cabbie driver accidently dropped me off a block away.” The man said quickly before kissing her.
The woman laughed, “It is not a big deal Will, we have to wait about fifteen minutes for our table.” She told him as she poked his nose with her index finger, “Now let’s get out of the rain.” She said as she made her way to the door.
William quickly walked up and pulled it open, then gestured with a smug grin and short bow for her to enter first, “After you Ms.Brown.” The woman laughed and stepped inside. Still grinning William stepped inside, just getting in the door the two were snuggled up on a bench as they waited for their table to be available to them.

It was some time later, William stopped to have a look at his watch, it read that it was about 9:30 P.M. shrugging he pulled up the collar of his coat and started making his way back to the flat. Stopping at a light, William pressed the walk button then looked around him as he waited for the signal to tell him to walk. Then the signal came and he quickly ran across the street and made his way down the block. Soon he was back at the block that was the location of his flat and went to a slow walk.
Hearing a noise, William looked around from where he stood, and then looked into an alley. Hearing another he looked up and down the pathway, there was barely anyone, but the noise certainly was new. The man looked back into the alley. Curiosity winning, William started cautiously walking down the alley. Hearing something drop into a puddle, the man slowly moved forward. Pulling his gun out of his pocket he stopped in front of a large puddle that was slowly getting bigger as it continued to rain. Seeing something in it, the man bent down and cautiously reached into the puddle. Getting his fingers around something that felt like a wrist band, the man pulled whatever it is out and looked at it with curiosity, “What on Earth is this?” He asked as the man came to a stand. He studied whatever it was as he walked back out of the alley and made his way to the building of his flat.

Closing the door to his flat as he stepped inside, the man put it in the dining table next to the case files before making his way to the bathroom to get a towel. Grabbing a towel out of the cabinet he walked out of the small room and into his bedroom. Rubbing his hair dry, the man tossed the towel onto the bed as he walked over to the closet to get some dry clothes out.
Walking back out of the bedroom with dry clothes on, he hung the wet clothes up in the small bathroom to let them dry, his coat was by the fire place where a calming flame was burning, reason that was there is because he will need it in the morning. Sighing the man sat down into his armchair and stared at the flame for a moment before picking up a newspaper. Quietly he read it, every now and then mumbling to himself, “Awww.. such a shame..” He said quietly as he read an article. Sucking his teeth William looked over to the case files, making a face as he shrugged he quickly stood up and walked over to the dining table. Usually it was both William and Nate that would look at the cases together in the office but he was curious as to what these cases were.
Opening the file he scanned through the papers, horrified by the photos and starting to see images from the Afghan War, he quickly closed the file and set it down before picking up the second. The photos in the second file were eerily similar to the first file. Shakily the man set the file down on top of the file he picked up first, “Blimey..” William whispered, he glanced at the strange wrist band sitting on the table. Letting out a quiet sigh, William picked it up, took a look at it and set it back down.
Walking over to the fireplace he picked up his jacket, nodding in approval when he felt that the jacket was now dry. He frowned when his ears picked up a beeping sound, turning around he looked at the wrist band. Making his way back to the table, his jacket held between his side and arm, frowned as he looked at the flashing on the screen of the wrist band, “What is this.. Some kind of –Wah!” There was a flash and the man could only recall seeing white at first then random colors before landing on something hard and everything going black.

Wincing some, the man groaned as he opened his eyes a little. Blinking a little he groaned again as he lifted his head slowly, “What.. What happened?” William asked himself as he rolled onto his side, his chest and face were hurting, rolling some more William barely stopped himself from falling off of whatever he was on, “Woah!”
William sat up, putting a hand to his head, he felt something that was warm and wet, looking at his hand he saw there was a fair amount of blood, “Must have cracked my head or something..” The man said quietly, looking over the side he saw it was not a terrible drop. William first dropped his coat and the wristband to the grass below, then he carefully moved himself over the edge and dropped to the ground. There he stood and looked around, wondering just where he was. Bending over he scooped up his coat and the wrist band, staring at the device. His head was still throbbing; putting his coat on he stuffed the wristband into his pocket, looking around, “Where am I?” William asked, not expecting anyone to exactly answer his question. He put his hand back to the part of his head, it still had that warm, wet feeling, “I should probably get my head looked at..” The man said, but the problem was that he did not know where he was at or if it was even the same year. For all he knew, he could have been sent back to the 1400’s or the 1800’s.
