Blue was not enjoying himself.
He barely knew Elysia Callahan. His sire had made the tentative attempt to establish a connection with him at the insistence of his mistress, a girl named David who had borne Twitch’s son. Blue had reluctantly agreed to the meeting, but only because he knew that it would be just a one-time thing, simply proof for Twitch’s mistress that the two Jinn did not see eye-to-eye. Well, he had hoped it would be simply a one-time thing, but Elysia seemed to have other plans, as she was constantly following him around and trying to get him to lean over to touch his hair and other such obnoxious thing.
It wouldn’t be so bad if Elysia had some sort of control over her powers. Instead she was like a baby snake who didn’t know how to control herself. An obnoxious baby snake. An obnoxious baby snake who had grabbed his hand and whisked them away to another planet and was now in the midst of running around the abandoned city for exploration. He trudged behind her silently, feeling like a downtrodden family dog who was tasked to protect the wild child.
That feeling only escalated as he followed her into an abandoned hospital, looking around at the dusty and dirty surroundings. “Elysia,” he called out, brushing his suit off, his deep voice calm as he looked around for his ‘little sister’. “Elysia, we really need to get back to Earth. Your parents will decommission me if anything happens to you. I’d rather that not happen, if it’s all the same to you.”
