As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

General
The Doctor is a time lord from Gallifrey. He travels in a machine know only as the TARDIS, a time and relative dimension in space device that takes him through time and to far off planets. He tends to travel with companions that he chooses, mostly humans from Earth. He has had a long standing relationship with UNIT and Torchwood as well. Only a couple of regeneration's ago did he just come off the time war with the Daleks. As his 10th regen, he's been having to reconcile with his past instead of being the more angry 9th doctor that just came off the war.
Friends
Its easy to become friends with the Doctor if you have a inquisitive mind, have a desire to seek knowledge and adventure, don't ask stupid questions or act like a moron, and most especially don't do anything to piss him off like do something to threaten time and space in ways irreparable or have a gun to his face, he hates guns.
Enemies
Again guns can make either a very annoyed Doctor at you or a complete enemy of him until he decides not to be cross with you. More often than not though, his good guy helping nature has led him to have enemies have have hated him more than him them, except maybe the Daleks, he's had a long standing grudge with them. But there are races out there that want nothing more than to have the Doctor head on a pike.
Family & Love
The Doctors originally family might be gone as far as he knows, but his companions have come to be his family since his first regeneration. Not always would he admit it, but he does care about his friends a lot and they will always be a part of him. As for love, he hasn't found the humans comparison of love in a long time, but maybe someday again since a time lord can look young after all.
Interactions with Ten could be fascinating, and would depend on when and how they interacted. Early on, she definitely resents him. There's a lot of mixed up jealousy, betrayal, and blame that she projects onto him as much as she does herself. But as she fixes herself, piece by piece, into something resembling human again she comes to somewhat understand.
idk I kind of feel like interactions with Ten would be amongst the highlight of 'can I be a good person?' or not question for my innocent, battered sociopath bb. also going from loathing to friends would be??? amazing???
bonus points if it involves Ten & Harry, but one on one would be super loved too
Also for reference: depending on where you meet her in her timeline, she has traveled with Seven and Eight, may or may not have reunited with Harry, and her bff is actual Satan (Iblis).
AYY!! GRAMPS!! I play two different incarnations of Susan, but we'll pretend the second one doesn't exist (mostly because she pretends the Doctor doesn't exist). She loves EVERY incarnation of her grandfather, but let's be honest - she would be so proud of him working through the Time War trauma. The First wasn't too good with emotions or being friendly at all, so Susan is always really fond of the incarnations that have extroverted personalities. Anyway! Susan stole a TARDIS from the Master, so they could run into each other like that? Up to you!!
ANOTHER past companion!!! Fitz was in the Eighth Doctor Adventures, and they were best friends and later on Fitz was Eight's emotional support dog and Guardian of Eight's Memories, which is kind of... a long story, don't worry. Fitz hung around Eight during the Time War until eventually he apparently got rid of him near the end... me and the current Eight have decided he tricked Fitz into going back to Earth ('it's kind of weird you're LITERALLY stopping a battle to go get me cigarettes, but i trust you' *two minutes later* 'YOU HAVE BETRAYED MY TINY TRUST, DOC'). Anyway, Fitz is a florist musician, mostly human (but created by the TARDIS.. another long story), and would be SUPER PUMPED to see that the Doctor survived the Time War!!!!
ISo Iblis is kind of literally Satan, but "[iblis voice] I don't have a gun!" It is very loyal to its species, but has this bad habit of causing war, convincing humans to commit heinous acts against other humans, and kidnapping the Doctor's companions in a bid to get his attention to negotiate a deal to change history. But Iblis is pretty rational and reasonable so Ten could probably talk it out of one of the 'GOTTA KIDNAP ALL THE TIME LORDS TO CHANGE THE PAST' moods. Also, it is BEST FRIENDS with Lucy Saxon, and honestly all Ten would need to do is bring up Lucy in casual conversation and suddenly Iblis is the warmest devil in history.
Sebastian is a teenage violinist that just wants some peace and quiet, just wants to do teenage things like... blog or watch Netflix until three in the morning. Nina is the spawn of satan djinn that lives inside him, is kind of a homicidal maniac and sets things on fire when she's bored. She doesn't mean to be a disaster, she just doesn't understand why those things are bad. I don't know how they would meet Ten, but! I can make it happen if you're ever interested.

Ten && Lucy
I'll take all the plots! I wouldn't mind him meeting up with her and seeing how they'd interact. Harry is welcome to come along too. How do see them meeting or where? Since I don't know much about Lucy yet. But I am excited to meet her!
Ten && Susan
Susan, Susan, Susan, my dear Susan. It'll be great for them to meet up again after such a long hiatus from each other. I feel he's never gotten true closure of departure with her just from what i have read in wiki. I'd love for her to see his face. Even if it means stealing a TARDIS to do so . Question is, where should they "meet up"? Would be irony if it was on Earth since it was a place she liked quite often as a child.
Ten && Fitz
If Fitz is on Earth, the Doctor could meet him there wherever he's living, maybe had come off some venture just prior or finds himself in the thick of a venture maybe. It all depends on whether or not its just a casual visit or mixed with trouble. I'm sure it will be amusing for each other to meet up again.
Ten && Iblis/Nina
Not gonna lie this one is gonna be weird to try out. I'm not sure how they'd meet either, but the sheer thought sounds entertaining none the less. After all its not like he's not dealt with buckets of crazy before. The Master was and always is just two TARDISies short of a sane brain. The way I see them meeting is probably best through Lucy.

Mnn to be honest, if you're down for it, I'd love love a thread dated on the Valiant during the Year that Never Was. The fact nobody other than the Master ever spoke to Lucy despite the visible signs of abuse is a real pet peeve of mine. I'm also pretty keen on her meeting him after befriending Iblis. (Abe therefore after sort of befriending the hummingbird aka Eight and Fitz).

Ten && Lucy
I (and Ten) will go with whatever prevailing winds are thrown our way thread wise. It might help if a thread is started by ya for me in this case since I feel like a derp about things. I'm pretty good at catching on to starters. Normally I can do them myself but for this particular situation I feel like I might have to be the one to follow.
Ten && The Master
The Master and the Doctor have always had a very ....strange....relationship since their early days. Depending at what point in time The Master is at, will depend on how Ten is going to interact with him. But I do love the idea of seeing them cross paths no matter how brief or not that meeting is.
I mean, to be fair, the Master stole the TARDIS first... she's just forcefully borrowing with no intention of returning. But yes!! The Earth could be a great stage either after she steals the TARDIS (which is after the death of her husband and her son) OR before, after David's death but before Alex dies? Depends on how sad you want Susan lmao.
Yep, Fitz is on Earth - he doesn't really have his own way around yet. He's amazingly good at getting himself in trouble so it could be in the thick of it - Fitz being hung upside down somewhere by some alien ('fitz what' 'oh you know just... hanging around'). He performs in a little bar named Molly's and he's got his own flower shop, so I mean, there's a lot of tame scenarios for meeting as well... like carnivorous alien plants or something. ('WHOOPS i didn't know they'd eat human flesh' 'FITZ WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET IT')

Ten && Susan
I totally could go with either scenario, but if I know one thing about Ten, he always seems to be there when things are emotional. I guess it all depends if you want Ten to have some Alex interaction as well or not. If not, well then I can do the later with the TARDIS deal.
