We are a small but welcoming group of Doctor Who enthusiasts that also share a love for Roleplay! We have members of all sorts of RP styles and levels of experience, so don't be shy if you're new! We all start somewhere!
As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

There was a soft little chuff sound. She knew it well. The paint marker had gone off in Oracle's grip. She knew she couldn't get cross with the young woman. Sarah Jane felt as though she barely had a grip on her now. That the child would bolt from her at the first opportunity. That is why she kept every shred of emotion off her face as she turned and looked at the ginger's face in the sway of the street lamps they passed by. She couldn't help her eyes flickering over to the small, thick, green splatter over their heads and slightly on her side.
Hazel eyes dart back to Oracle's, clearly trying to stay under entire control. Her upper lip moved in something that approximated a smile, but it didn't touch the rest of her face. There is a miniscule drop of green paint that is now delicately tying two of her hairs together with a tiny spike of eyebrow.
"Thats alright, Oracle. Now . . . . .put the safety on that, the switch by the trigger. Lets get your foot up on the dash and pull your pant leg up, I want to see."
Oracle watched as a drop of green paint fell down onto Sarah Janes hair, softly, mouthing it mostly “I am so, so sorry.”
"Thats alright, Oracle. Now . . . . .put the safety on that, the switch by the trigger. Lets get your foot up on the dash and pull your pant leg up, I want to see." looking over the paintball gun, Oracle found the safety quickly and switched it to safe mode and started to start again about how she was sorry about shooting the interior roof of Sarah Janes car.
In her mind she ran back the rest of what Sarah Jane had said, “Oh yeah, my ankle yeah sure.” she hadn’t bothered to tie her boots earlier so she slipped her foot out fairly easily, jerking her sock off Oracle placed her ankle on the dash like Sarah Jane had asked pulling the pants leg up “See...I’ll live.” she’s had worse so she didn’t understand the problem behind a sprained ankle.

She sipped air when she saw that ankle. There wasn't much to see, a livid mark just under the big bone that looked like someone had shoved a pomegranate under Oracle's skin. There wasn't much swelling, you'd have to look twice, but Sarah Jane knew all to well that it took some serious effort to twist one's ankle enough to bring up blood like that.
"Yeah, I'll live" The young woman said causally enough to startle her.
"Oh, you've done a job on that you have. No no, don't put your shoe back on." Even as Sarah Jane was driving at speed, she was wiggling her way out of her coat. This she wadded up into her lap. "Swing your leg over here, then get into the glove box. There is an Ace bandage in there, and a self-chilling ice pack, can you find it in there?"
Oracle tilted her head a little to the side when Sarah Jane sucked in air when she saw her ankle she started to say “Why are you…?” and started to put her boot back on "Oh, you've done a job on that you have. No no, don't put your shoe back on." “Why?”
"Swing your leg over here, then get into the glove box.” Oracle hesitated for a moment before complying with what Sarah Jane told her to do and placed her ankle on Sarah Janes jacket that the woman rolled up and placed on her lap.
Reaching over Oracle opened up the glove compartment and rummaged around a little till she found the Ace bandage and the self- chilling ice pack, holding them up “These them?”

Oracle was clearly finding what Sarah Jane had bid her to. Checking all her mirrors and frowning as she did so, Sarah Jane pulled over and turned the car all the way off to keep it dark. There was just a trace of moonlight and a faint, distant warm glow of a street lamp on the other side of the highway. Oracle's hair glowed dully like banked embers.
She reached for the supplies.
"Lets see about this eh?"
It was nearly comedic how many ankle's she'd sprained herself. She was quite deft at taking care of them and was immediately pushing that foot into a more proper position, and winding the elastic bandage smoothly around it.
"You didn't run when I told you to." She accused gently, her eyes becoming visible for an instant as she looked up at the the girl form her work, then bent back to it.
"Lets see about this eh?" Oracle flinched when Sarah Jane moved her foot into the proper position and started wrapping it “Ok, so maybe that does hurt a little.” she mouthed ow and took a breath steadying herself.
"You didn't run when I told you to." watching as Sarah Jane wrapped her ankle she tried to think how to answer her, “Over the years, I’ve had people around me to die because of me or because of my things related to my past…” Oracle ran electricity through her body causing it to glow slightly so Sarah Jane had a little more light then just the street light outside “And I refuse to let you be one of those who get hurt because of me.”

Oracle's words hit home. She could have said them herself.
More than one sentient creature had died on her behalf. Or had been terribly hurt. It was a weight on her shoulders to this day, and she worried about the children. How much longer would she be able to convince Luke to stay behind her? He already defied her sometimes, stepping out in front, but she wasn't sure he could even help it.
Her hands, so certain in their business, stuttered when that clean, pale, pure blue began to emanate from the electrical girl. She snapped a quick look at her, but clearly nothing was going on but a bit of help. Or a bit of cheek. She was about to give her a crisp word when she remembered this was not one of her devotees. Oracle would have to be handled with care. Well, and she'd earned it. This was no frivolous child. Sarah Jane smiled at her.
"Ease back, sparky, we might need you later. In fact, the whole Earth might need you later. Oracle, there must be someone whose safety you don't feel in charge of. What if I told you that I think you're survival at this point in human history is more important than my own, Hm?" Her hands continued their delicate work, with or without light. She tucked the ice pack inside the last two loops right over the strained tendon. She was going to keep the girl off her foot for the next 20 minutes if she had to carry her piggyback.
"Ease back, sparky, we might need you later. In fact, the whole Earth might need you later. Oracle, there must be someone whose safety you don't feel in charge of.” Oracle titled her head a little and shook her head no, still watching Sarah Janes hands as she wrapped the ankle with bandage and listening, slowly picking her words she responded, “Old habits die hard guess.”
“What if I told you that I think you're survival at this point in human history is more important than my own, Hm?" Oracle smiled a little bit, she’d always put the people she was with before safely above her own it was something she guessed had been instilled in her at a young age “Now that, I don’t believe.” Oracle back tracked some realizing that sounded nothing like what she meant “And I mean that in the sense that my life is no more important than anyone elses.” she didn’t believe her life was any greater than any other person who walked the planets.

Her eyes flickered up from her task, eyebrows quirked in clear judgement.
"You must have started pretty young for any of your habits to be old." She accused, then lifted Oracle's leg by the calf, claimed the coat, and handed it to Oracle. "Use this to keep your foot up on the dash for a while. We'll get you into a shoe in about 20 minutes."
On the greater lesson of her own worth, Oracle's ideas were coming in last place.

Sarah Jane, boldly, reached out and touched a single fingertip to the side of Oracle's jaw.
"You must have started pretty young for any of your habits to be old." Oracle moved a little when Sarah Jane handed her the coat but didn’t answer right off the bat “I was thirteen and I’m…I think 24 now so yeah they would be old habits.” "Use this to keep your foot up on the dash for a while. We'll get you into a shoe in about 20 minutes." Oracle nodded and gingerly placed her foot on the dash on top of the jacket.
Oracle hadn’t been expecting Sarah Jane to touch her face so she slightly flinched when the woman’s fingertip touched her jaw.
She started to reach up to grab Sarah Janes wrist to stop her from touching her face anymore but stopped "Well, it is to me." the sincerity in the words stopped Oracle cold causing her to flex her jaw a little in an attempt to wrangle in what control over her emotions she could so they didn’t slip out.
Clearing her throat a little Oracle didn’t quiet trust her own voice for a moment and spoke softly when she did “…thank you.”

She could have made a point of it. A point of seeing how long Oracle will tolerate her touch. Instead, she lets her hand drop before it's any sort of big deal. Sarah Jane was in a habit of testing people, but was starting to think that Oracle was a might bit important to be toying with. She watched the young woman get settled, then reached over and checked her seat belt as she checked her own. Properly secured and propped, Sarah Jane shot gravel out behind her as she hit the road again.
"We can't go to UNIT, or my friend up in Cardiff." she mused half aloud. "But I know someone North East from here that might know what sort of buzz you're creating out on the Universe Wide Web. Well, I know a woman who knows a fish . . It's a long story. Oracle, do you have any idea if those nutters in the suits want to kill you or keep you?"
"You're welcome, though it’s the least your owed." Oracle bowed her head a little scratching her index finger with her thumbnail a little not knowing what to say.
Reaching up Oracle grabbed onto the handle on the door for a second as Sarah Jane took off back onto the road. Shaking her head a little at the mention of UNIT she said softly to herself “More like United Intolerance Task Force.” Oracle frowned a little about the mention of Cardiff, she’d heard rumors about something to do with an anti alien group there but she hadn’t had the displeasure of running into them.
"But I know someone North East from here that might know what sort of buzz you're creating out on the Universe Wide Web.” Oracle turned her head to look at Sarah Jane as she talked and tilted her head some while she listened “Well, I know a woman who knows a fish . . It's a long story. “Remind me to get you to tell it to me some day.”
“Oracle, do you have any idea if those nutters in the suits want to kill you or keep you?" Oracle shook her head no “To tell you the truth I always figured they were the ones from when I was a kid just trying to tie up loose ends hunting down the ones who got out when I burned the place to the ground…or something like that.”

Thirteen. From what Sarah Jane had seen, the kid had been taking responsibility for herself since she was about three.
"Maybe it was for the best that I haven't gotten in your way up to now, Oracle. I'm so sorry. I'm fair certain that it was my surfing about with Mr.Smith looking for clues about you that alerted these soldiers from somewhere on how to find you." Sarah Jane set the auto cruise up to four clicks over the speed limit as soon as the traffic thinned. She wagered a good look over at the ginger before continuing to drive on. "Oracle, you know those ones in the suits. They weren't from Earth. We're not fleeing the Scientists who tortured you . . . Those guys game down in a ship. A ship."
Oracle frowned a little when Sarah Jane said that that the creatures in suits had come from a ship, sitting up straight in her seat Oracle slid her foot of the dash and then into her boots, she started to reach for her jacket but realized it wasn’t there shuddering for a second she shook her head.
“Everyone I’ve ever fought has been human…or it had been relating to humans I can’t…” she shook her head unable to place where they could of come from. “I dunno Sarah Jane.”

"Oh, they're human alright. As human as you are." her eyes flickered to each mirror as regular as a machine. "They just aren't from here. Like you. I'm afraid I may have put us on the fast track of finding out where you come from and how you got here. I've usual found it adventurous to just get myself caught when I'm trying to follow a logic thread. Why do all the work when they'll do it for you? However, I wasn't actually trying to do that this time."
Her regret is clear.
"If it comes to that, Oracle, I don't want you to be afraid. It isn't the end of anything. I've done this before. I promise. And I've got an Ace or two up my sleeve."
She wished she actually had Ace up her sleeve, but she knew that just now, the woman was busy. Very busy.
"How come you've never been caught for burning things down?"
