The Inspector's TARDIS Decided to explode. Sparks flew everywhere, furniture was flung and books from the shelves were spat out at an alarming speed. It seemed the Ship was not happy. The TARDIS then gave another lurch, throwing the Inspector to the other side of the console room .
"Fine, fine, YOU'RE not happy! Happy?"
The Thing then lurched him towards what was left of the control console. Evidently he had pick up one of the TARDIS's that had a type of personality. He pulled his old self up to the video screen and took a look at what had caused this massive change of pace. Red warning lights were flashing along with signals and Gallifrayan text such as 'Item found' and 'Time alteration occurring'. None of that was good.
The Inspector started to tap buttons and pull leavers in order to stabilize the movement, He almost reached the Green stabilizers but then his trusty TT capsule was hit by another wave of Vortex energy and this made even more of a mess. the floor was on fire now. Whatever the hell was detected had a massive affect on his ship. The Inspector pulled one last knob and the coordinates were set in, the TARDIS would Lock on to the anomaly and he would be jetted off there.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ancient Greece
The Greeks were amazing. They did everything; Poetry, philosophy, Art, plays, themselves, food and war. They did not however tend to look up. If they did it would take a rather good thinker to explain why a wardrobe was now falling from the sky, only to disappear and then reappear with a bump against a statue, not only that but why a bald man in strange red garments came out, coughing and spluttering about that "confounded Triple flux Modulator", covered in foam with a rag held against his mouth.
The Inspector shut the doors. The fires where out but he really should sort out the fire system. It was getting silly. After catching his breath he discreetly took out his Very Smart Phone and low and behold, his connection to the Hard-drive of the TARDIS was not working. All he knew was that he was in sunny Greece judging by the robes... oh dear. He didn't have the contemporary dress. He was still in that red dressing gown!
At least he had his shirt and trousers on this time. He did need some shoes or sandals though. The most pressing matter now was to find the source of the rucas. The TARDIS would have dropped him off with in a week of when what ever had activated would activate. Now all he needed to do was find the who, the what, the when , the where and the why. Problem was.. He had absolutely no idea where to start.
"You could have made it a bit easier you know"
He said to his ship. The Inspector slumped down against the doors and stroked his beard. What was a 300+ Time Lord to do?
