We are a small but welcoming group of Doctor Who enthusiasts that also share a love for Roleplay! We have members of all sorts of RP styles and levels of experience, so don't be shy if you're new! We all start somewhere!
As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

Oracle tilted her head back a little when she heard someone clear their throat as they approached, if he hadn’t of cleared his throat Oracle would of probably fired first and asked questions second.
“Actually you got of lucky, most people I meet who get cocky are dead before they can remind themselves not to get cocky.” Oracle tried to laugh some but it hurt so she quickly snuffed the laugh with a faint ow. “Mind if I check the damage” “It’s fine, it’s just a scratch.” Oracle went to sit up, she’d never showed weakness very well so she was trying to hide the fact that she was hurt, but gasped when it felt like her side was on fire so she laid back down “Yeah, sure fine.” she sighed a little frustrated with herself.

The Regegade quirked a single brow when she said it was just a scratch. It was clearly more than just a scratch. However instead of pushing the woman he just waited for her to make the next move. She knew her body, she knew how much she could take, she’d ask for help when she was ready for it. He watched her try to sit up and noted the gasp that she made before lying back down. “You ready for me to help yet or shall we keep up this charade of bravado some more?”
“Yeah, sure fine.”
As soon as she gave the ok for him to get to work he did so. He could tell she wasn’t happy about it but frankly he didn’t care about her pride all he cared about was making sure the woman didn’t die for it. He applied some nano-bot salve to the wound then patched it up. She should be alright soon enough unless the Daleks had new technology they weren’t aware of. “Oracle next time you get shot just let the medics help you. You’re not helping anyone by resisting help.” He stood and grabbed his gun before standing watch over her while she healed.
Oracle couldn’t decide whether to punch Renegade or just glare after he made the bravado comments, finally deciding on a little bit of a ‘did you really just’ glare but managed to keep her mouth shut.
She tried not to move as he patched her up, she’d admit she did feel better from whatever it was he did “Oracle next time you get shot just let the medics help you. You’re not helping anyone by resisting help.” Oracle frowned a tiny bit and moved to sit up slowly, saying softly “Please, don’t lecture me.. She looked at Renegade and shrugged “The life I’ve lived, the second you show, showed weakness life would eat you alive.” Oracle went to stand, moving a little bit slower and stiffer than she normally did. “I’ll be fine, heal fast.” she realized that after all of this she hadn’t even said thank you to Renegade for anything “Thank you, by the way.”

“Please, don’t lecture me.. She looked at Renegade and shrugged “The life I’ve lived, the second you show, showed weakness life would eat you alive.”
Renegade sighed and shook his head at his young friend. “It wasn’t a lecture, it was a warning. It’s not a weakness to need help, the only weakness you have is being blind to when you need help. Trust me when I say this living your life alone is not life.” He stood and turned away from her briefly before looking at her again. “However if you don’t want advice then I will not give it.” He began to scan for any sign of the enemy.
“I’ll be fine, heal fast.”
He nodded briefly to her not really answering. It was a common saying he heard, but the truth was they all healed eventually, either by death or with a lovely scar to remind them of their stupidity.
“Thank you, by the way.”
He looked at her fully when she thanked him and nodded to her. “No need to thank me. You’d be useless to me dead.” He looked away again but added as well. “I’m glad you survived.” It was as good a you’re welcome as she’d get from him, but the truth was he actually did care he was beginning to grow fond of the young woman.?
“No need to thank me. You’d be useless to me dead.” Oracle did a sort of sarcastic little bow “Well, good to know that I’m useful.” “I’m glad you survived.” Oracle bowed her head a little in a respectful gesture.
She walked with Renegade for a moment in silence “You know, I never really understood how this whole war completely started.” she thought out loud “Not complaining because the Daleks are some real bad guys, like none I’ve never seen before but, couldn’t someone just go back in time and completely stop them or is that just completely against the rules?” she stopped realizing she was rambling.

The Renegade ignored her tone and looked at her simply not really caring if she got snarky with him. He turned away from her and continued to watch for danger. His sharp eyes caught her respectful head bow and it made a small smile appear on his face.
“You know, I never really understood how this whole war completely started.” she thought out loud “Not complaining because the Daleks are some real bad guys, like none I’ve never seen before but, couldn’t someone just go back in time and completely stop them or is that just completely against the rules?”
A look of pain touched his eyes as he looked back at her. “The war started because the Time Lords grew to arrogant and sure of themselves. They ignored the warning signs because they thought they were invincible.” He stopped and sighed. “No it’s not against the rules. It was tried a long time ago. However the man assigned to do it couldn’t commit genocide and didn’t complete his task. Now no one can do it or they risk unraveling all of space and time.” He shrugged and turned away again. “We have to fight this out ourselves.”
Oracle frowned a little when she saw the look of pain in Renegades eyes when he looked back at her and couldn’t bring herself to meet them so she focused on the ground for a moment like it was the most interesting thing there at the moment and listened to Renegade.
She looked up at him when he sighed and answered the second part of her question before saying softly “Sounds like a good man…” she’d often believed, though she’d never admit it to anyone, no one person had the right to decide whether a species lived or died.
“We have to fight this out ourselves.” She wasn’t a Timelord but in the end winning this war was a beneficial to the entire universe “Then, let’s make sure we win this thing yeah?”

The Renegade turned to Oracle and nodded his head. “He was a very good man. Kind, caring, he didn’t think twice about helping a friend. Everyone loved him, now he’s gone. The war killed him, it turned him into something he should never have become. But even in the end he sacrificed himself for the universe knowing full well what would happen when he did so.” He turned away from her as the memories of that night filtered into his mind.
“Then, let’s make sure we win this thing yeah?”
He nodded to her and grabbed his gun a bit harder than before. “You ready to move again?” He looked down at her a soft smile in his eyes even though a cool grim frown remained on his lips. “We will only move on when you are ready. I never leave a companion behind.” He looked at her and then turned in a circle checking their surroundings once more.

I never leave a companion behind.” this caused Oracle to laugh a little “Talking like that you sound like this guy I used to run into from time to time, went by the name The Doctor, could be…a bit of a prat but still, a good man.”
Oracle stood up completely moving a little stretching “Yeah, I’m good to go.”

Renegade froze when she said that and a flash of anger then sadness flowed over his face and then he looked away as shame replaced that look briefly before the blank steely grimace he always wore returned. “The Doctor was a good man. I will never forget him, the universe will be a frightful place now he’s gone.” With that said he set off again without further comment when she gave the okay. His shoulders hunched as he returned to looking around for enemies and keeping quiet. The need to kill something, anything, began to rise in his heart at the unintentional reminder of the Doctor that had just been spoken.

She caught it, just for a second, the flash of anger immediately replaced by a great sadness before Renegade turned away steeling himself, oh no she hit a tender spot again. Oracle started to apologize but stopped “The Doctor was a good man. I will never forget him, the universe will be a frightful place now he’s gone.” she noticed how he set off again after she told him she was ok so Oracle decided to let it drop for now.
So full of questions she had but Oracle stuffed them all to the back of her mind before zipping off following Renegade.

Renegade was grateful for the silence. It afforded him some peace to regain his composure so as not to snap at his new companion. That made him pause, which he covered up by looking around as if checking the surroundings, and consider what he’d just thought. When had he begun thinking of Oracle as a companion? Shaking his head he grabbed his gun and began heading off in a new direction looking for any traces of the Daleks, or really anything to shoot at.
Oracle walked a pace or two behind Renegade studying the ground something was, off she couldn’t place it she just knew something didn’t feel right.
Crouching down Oracle ran her hand over the grass “Something’s been through here, something heavier than just a Dalek.”
