Martha huffed loudly. She wasn't used to having the day off, but all of a sudden she did and it was...strange. Different. Not the Doctor's kind of different, but still. She was wandering along the streets and wondering what there was to do. She'd already drunk three coffees, and was now gripping her fourth, and she'd eaten as much as she could at this tiny restaurant. That put her at an hour and a half. She checked her watch and sighed. What was she supposed to do for the rest of the day? She couldn't just walk around. There wasn't much to do at home, although she was planning to watch movies later; so until then...what was a girl to do? She walked past the same park four times, up and down the street twice, and then finally ended up in some kind of woods. Frowning, she began to walk, sipping her coffee. As if today couldn't be any worse! It was cold. Forgetting about the money it had cost - it hadn't been that much anyways - she threw the cold coffee aside and crossed her arms over her chest as she began exploring the woods. Maybe it was harder to entertain herself now that the Doctor wasn't around.
The Doctor....oh she missed him, she missed him a lot. But she knew that they both needed to move on with her life. She couldn't travel the stars forever, however much she wanted to. She had to push her life forward. Martha wondered what he was up to. Probably running with a new companion...or perhaps Donna. That was the redheads name, right? Yes, Donna. She was a lovely woman, feisty and funny and brilliant for the Doctor. Martha had figured she'd be a bit jealous but when she got to know the woman she'd realized that Donna was the perfect companion for that skinny alien in the suit. Suddenly, Martha straightened up and looked around. Where...was she? She bit her lip. Oh no. She was lost.
...well that's just great!
