Taryn sighed softly as she followed Pippa. She felt strangely comfortable around her. She couldn't quite put her finger on it but Pippa reminded her of someone. Some one that needed protecting. She had more than easily noticed her jumpy and skittish nature and while Taryn was not immune to being startled, Taryn wouldn't hesitate to pummel the living daylights out of anything that tried to come at her. As she had so eloquently proven when the man in the mask had tried to startle them.
She still was completely oblivious as to why he had tried to frighten them. But, he was gone now and she and Pippa were safe. But she couldn't help but notice that Pippa still seemed on edge. She chewed her lip a little sheepishly as Pippa went to make her rounds into the house, baseball bat in hand. She softly closed the door behind her and tilted her head to the side. "Um... Pippa?"
The Irish woman froze, her skin going pale as if all the blood had drained from her face. "Pippa, Are you alright?"
”Right...” Taryn smiled softly ”Welcome to me flat. Living room is right here, and jack’s down the hall, first left. Make yourself comfortable.” Taryn looked around at her surroundings almost as if... lost. What was so mundane and ordinary to Pippa was strange and new, almost alien to Taryn. While she obviously remembered speech and how to walk and talk like any normal human being, She was a blank slate. She had to learn everything all over again.
"Well, You said something about.. Broccoli Cheese soup? Why dont we make some. I could watch.. I'm a pretty quick learner" she grinned playfully, wriggling her fingers at Pippa. Taryn was definitely a 'Hands On' learner. "And then.. Maybe those 'Jack' lanterns?" Taryn was trying to hide her enthusiastic. But this was the closest she had felt to 'normal' since waking up in the hospital.
As Pippa went to lean on the bat, Taryn gasped as Pippa stumbled and dropped to her knees by the woman's side and gave her a worried once-over. Taryn was rather motherly as she brushed Pippa's bands for her forehead, making sure there were no injuries. "Are you alright?"
