Okay.. So other than one woman cowering in a corner, names had been given. So, we had a Susan, Ace's name she recognized.. But the face was different, Obviously she new Donna or she wouldn't have been clinging to her with her face nearly buried in the woman's breasts... The girl with a boy's name.. David? Well, she certainly didn't look like a David. But if that was her name, Maggie supposed she just had to roll with it. Then a Raya and a Rina... A Katie and a Taryn. Okay so they had a full room of women and not a single one seemed to know why they were there.
And Maggie certainly didn't know why.. She looked at the wall where a door occasionally appeared and squared her jaw. Rio was her responsibility. She had a time line to protect! Until... she heard her mother's name.
"I'm the Phantom.. I prefer Maria."
Maggie pulled away from Donna's arms and she looked right at Maria, dumbfounded. Her eyes.. They looked so young. Maggie was suddenly filled with a sense of joy as she went to reach for Maria, hazily wobbling from Donna's protective grasp. “Maria? I'm so happy to see you!” she chirped with a slight slur.
"Why?" Maggie stumbled back with a wide eyed blink of confusion. That was not a tone she was used to hearing from her mum.. She sounded.. bitter.. resentful. "I mean.. You took him from me.. Why?...... You smell of him.."
Maggie's eyes narrowed almost dangerously before she offered a strange smile. She pushed Maria against one of the walls and leaned in close, her hands on either side of her head. Her posture was definitely threatening. “Shut up, Mother! I'm trying to GET him to you. Why would I take him?.. That doesn’t matter. There's more important things. I have to get him out of here or He wont meet you.. And that's what's important... Now get out of my way” she mumbled angrily, pushing Maria to the side and glared at the wall.
“The rest of you can stand around and do nothing if you want. I'm getting Rio and getting out of here.” she declared as she balled up her fists and rolled her shoulders back. She stared evenly at the wall where the door was supposed to be.. she reached with unseen hands and felt along the wall searching for the cracks. She was going to bring that wall down. When she couldn't find one, she huffed and slammed her fist at full force against the wall. It didn't make much of a dent in the wall but there had certainly been a sickening bone snapping sound as her wrist snapped. But Maggie didn't cry out.. she just took a step back looking at her wrist with a brow arched... and went to hit the wall again.
David stuck her tongue out Donna and crossed her arms stubbornly. She would only be here for a moment longer – certainly not too much longer. Twitch had promised her that she’d never be hurt and she had to believe him. Still... there was a lady who looked as though she just got out of a fight with a rabid gorilla – and lost. Miserably. She felt uneasy, and then the wall opened and she stumbled forward, a thousand things in her head as she looked at Twitch.
Except, he ignored her and pushed in a terrified looking Asian girl. And not just any girl – Pippa. Pippa Pettywood, the ever-scared older sister of one of her best friends, Baylie. She felt a well of indignant anger in her chest as she crossed the room quickly to Pippa, sitting next to her. Her lip trembled as she hugged Pippa, completely unaware that Pippa might not even know her yet. “H-he didn’t hurt you, did he?” David asked, her voice trembling.
Why had Twitch ignored her? And why would Twitch hurt someone? Twitch would never hurt anyone. Anxiety washed over David and she clutched the Lamp around her neck tightly, frightened now. She looked up as a small blonde asked the weird high girl about taking away someone. The weird high girl pushed her and yelled at her, pinning her against a wall.
“Don’t be an idiot,” David said, rolling her eyes as the girl broke her wrist. “You’re not accomplishing anything, so stop taking it out on other people. Bully,” she said, hazel eyes narrowed irritably. She had an arm wrapped protectively around Pippa, glaring at the Magpie. Bunch of nutters needed to take their medicine. “Are you all right, Pippa?”
It was nice to get away from the country from time to time Audrey would admit that, but, it was even better to come home and be with her friends. Last thing she remembered was heading to local pub, she’d gotten back a day or two early so she could surprise them.
While she’d been walking to the pub she passed an alleyway and heard someone crying. Some voice in her heard told her to keep walking but her medical training and heart told her to check, she knew it probably wasn’t the smartest thing on the face of the planet but what are ya gonna do.
Audrey started to head down the alley “Hello? Are you ok?” she could see a figure hunkered over, they seemed like they were crying, but she couldn’t be sure so she said again “Hello?”
Next thing she remembered was the person, who turned out to seem to her to be a guy, stand up and face her “…tall.”
“I’m gonna need you to come with me, please.” Audrey backed away “Why?” instinctively she reached under her shirt and reached for her riot baton she normally kept with her for just this sort of situation “Because I'm sure, your mother would appreciate knowing her little girl was safe."
Audrey stopped reaching for her riot baton and slowly moved her hand out from under the back of her shirt at the mention of her mother “Mum? Where is she?” “Safe... for now" the man said with no enjoyment at all to his voice, she could tell he didn’t want to do this. Next thing she knew she was surrounded by water swirling around her but she wasn’t drowning, as soon as the water was around her it was gone and she was in another place.
Catching her breath a little, a tiny bit shook up because of the whole encounter. Audrey closed her eyes trying to get her bearings some so her head would stop spinning. She noticed that everyone was introducing themselves so, she decided it would probably be a good idea to do that also, standing up straight she said her name “My names Audrey.”
The pirate lay slumped out on a chair, trucker cap pulled down over her eyes and her arms draped lazily over the sides of the chair. Occasionally, the woman would snore or shift slightly in her sleep, seeming oddly at peace in contrast to their surroundings. Dante would sleep through an atomic bomb if someone would let her. Gradually the woman awoke, groaning and scratching the scales at the back of her neck. She flicked the hat out of her eyes groggily with a hand and winced at the stiffness the movement let on to. She blinked a couple of times, in those seconds blissfully unaware, before jolting awake in the chair as if she had been electrified, eyes widening and arms holding onto the armrests tightly.
She looked left and right under the cap, taking stock of the room in front of her. The walls were decorated in a frankly nauseous pink and the overwhelming smell of roses filled the air. Dante’s nose wrinkled in disgust. She hadn’t been in a room like this since… well, since forever. Not to mention the women; lots and lots of women. She was just about getting ready to holler for Lars and make him explain all of this when she finally came to her senses. This was no ordinary room. She was not on The Vanquisher. She was… well, where was she?
For the meantime she ignored the other occupants of what she supposed was a ‘cell’ to take stock of her surroundings. No windows, impersonal walls and no obvious way out. Dante didn’t doubt for a second that there were more than just four walls keeping them in there. Next was to take stock of herself. Aside from a slight twinge in her neck, which in hindsight was probably from where she had been sleeping, she seemed fine physically. Her equipment was completely gone. They had taken her blasters, her earpiece, her knife and probably more. She felt naked without them, as if a part of her was missing. Her pride was a bit dented, and slowly fragments of what had happened came back to her.
She vaguely remembered the ambush, the hands covering her mouth and something, maybe a few fingers, jabbing her in the neck to knock her unconscious. That something must have jabbed her pretty hard as she was sure the scales were bruised. They had trapped her, coaxed her. They had caught the pirate in her natural habitat where she was most at ease. They had made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.
Dante groaned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes before ejecting herself from the seat and propelling her a few feet further into the room. She reached up to press a hand down on the pain in her neck, leaning it from side to side to try and work out the spot. Her hand drifted higher until it was touching fabric. Hat? She didn’t remember having a hat. In one quick motion Dante whipped the baseball hat off her head and studied it, punching the top through and then pulling it back out. She had been out for most of the conversation but caught the drift; name and species. As if the latter was important. Dante didn’t exactly know what she was; so left it rather obviously out.
“Dante Wilder, Captain to you.” She said simply whilst fiddling with the hat, casting nothing but a nonchalant glance and a nod of her head over sideways to the others. What she hoped for was at least recognition, perhaps some fear or even some admiration. What she expected to get was none of the above. She knew none of these people, (aside from one, though you could hardly call it a working relationship), so she guessed that none of them knew her. Still, with the universal ensign of the space pirates and that of her own ship emblazoned all across her clothing, she figured that at least someone would have a clue.
The pirate grimaced, ramming the hat back on and massaging her neck, before clearing her throat and looking back at the amassed group of females. Her pockets felt empty, her throat dry and raw and her head heavy as if someone had pulled a haze over her eyes. That thing they did to her neck must really have knocked for a out. She’d have to learn that sometime. “Now I don’t know ‘bout any of you lot, but I got a ship to get back to and a contract to honour; so lets all stop the pity party and concentrate on getting out of here.” Dante spoke, sounding as confident as she could muster as her neck throbbed uncomfortably and a dull ache spread around the bruised area. She met the eyes of each of the women evenly, standing apart from them to show she was different yet unafraid of them. The haze over her eyes was rapidly clearing to be replaced with the buzz of excitement. An adventure – at last! Then again, the pirate revelled in these sorts of situations where life and death was at stake. Still, she figured the other occupants could all use a bit of a kickstart. They certainly weren’t Lars, Irwin or Dax; but they’d have to do as a new crew.

After spending so much time around a Timelord... Could she really still be surprised when someone she didn't know (yet), know her? Obviously yes. This woman, Katharina? Was attempting to hug her, even though she looked like she was used as some sick jerk's punching bag.
"Um.." Raya started as she stared at the baker with very confused eyes. Who was Nate? and N.. J? "I don't think I.. uh.. Know you.. Sorry." She apologized, before she realized, this woman knew who she was. Or perhaps who she was going to be. And now Rina was pretending that she didn't know who Raya was.
"Are you sure you don't know who I am?" Raya asked as she tried to figure out what might be going on around here. Somehow she really didn't believe they won an all expenses paid, shopping trip.
She watched as some of the girls bickered, while others checked on the ones who looked to be in quite a state. Raya was torn between stopping the fighting, and checking up on Katharina. Out of all of them, she looked to have the most injuries.
However, before she could do anything, another woman; dark hair, light skin, possibly a bit taller than her; stood up, and placed a baseball cap on her head. This woman seemed to have this air of being in control. Which was explained after she introduced herself as 'Captain Dante Wilder.' Apparently she had a plan to get out of this mess.
Raya gave Captain Wilder, a mock salute, and stance. "Permission to speak, Cap'n?" She really could care less if she actually got permission or not, as she set her hand down and relaxed her muscles. "But do you have any means of an escape, and if.. Somehow, we actually manage to do so.. Do any of us know the layout to this entire place.. Rather does anyone know the best possible way out? Or would this be mainly based on blind luck?" Raya had to ask, mostly to settle her own curiosity.
Clara wasn't in the mood to listen to all of this. Kidnapped by strange people? Put in a strange room? With strange people? Strange... "So far, all I can tell that we have in common is we're all female. And as for ways out, there's not much to go on." She wished there was. The Doctor would be searching for her, so she knew if she waited around long enough he'd find her... Then again, there was the off chance that he wouldn't be able to find her, and that she'd need to save herself from this place.
Clara made a conscious effort to look out for any possible exits.
Taryn flinched at all the shouting between the girl called Magpie and the woman, Maria. And she could feel her stomach twist as she heard her wrist shatter as the girl punched what was quite obviously a solid stone wall. She chewed her lip for a moment before walking over and grasping her arm before she could strike the wall again. “Alright, now, just calm down.” she cooed in a soft voice. The girl tried pulling her arm away but Taryn lightly placed her hand to the girl's cheek. It seemed to have an immediate calming effect over Magpie. “There now.. Much better. We're all in this together whether we like it or not. All this bickering is pointless.”
She took a quick head count of the occupants, only one or two with injuries, and the rest seemed fine.. Physically at least. Quite a few women here had a rather demanding and commanding nature. Especially Ace and Dante. Taryn could almost foresee a bloodletting cat fight if those two ever butt heads. Taryn calmly looked over to Dante. “I'm certain we all have somewhere else we'd rather be at the moment. And while your impromptu attempt to take command of the situation is admirable, if.. not somewhat arrogant.. It's hardly necessary as I'm sure we all have the same idea in mind.”
She glanced down curiously as Magpie's wrist began to glow and she could feel the bones realigning and setting back into place. Those pale blue eyes lifted curiously to the girl with a confused stare before looking out to the others for some sort of explanation.
