We are a small but welcoming group of Doctor Who enthusiasts that also share a love for Roleplay! We have members of all sorts of RP styles and levels of experience, so don't be shy if you're new! We all start somewhere!
As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

I found this place featured on the front page of ProBoards and figured that I might as well join. I've started watching and now re-watching Doctor Who on Netflix sometime ago. I have to say I enjoy it very much and I would love to have a TARDIS or even met a time lord. I think that has even replaced the DeLorean time machine as my number one unobtainable item in fiction. I am unsure if I am going to partake in any roleplays as I have a tough time coming up with characters and their backstories plus I am unsure if I could keep up with the other roleplayers, but it is nice to be registered on a Doctor Who forum in case I have questions about the Doctor Who universe.
Sweet. I think all of us would love to have TARDISes. (:
You can certainly join as a canon character so you wouldn't have to come up with one on your own. We have a fairly relaxed style around here as opposed to other Doctor Who forums. I'm sure any of us would be willing to help you if you have any questions about the whoniverse!

I do not feel comfortable with canon characters either unfortunately as I feel as if I could never fully portray them as they should. Whenever I make a new character, it seems to have to come to me naturally.
Hmm, that makes sense. Well, if you need help developing a character one of us is sure to be around the site if you give us a shout in the cbox. And yes, the noise is a chatbox. On the left side you should see text that says 'click for cbox', click it and the sidebar should open to the chatbox, and you can disable the noise if it bothers you. If you're going on a browser that doesn't allow you to click that text (which is why we recommend Chrome), you can go to your profile and change the skin to 'TARDIS'.
