The water was unnaturally warm.Which was never a good sign when tracking a creature that had killed 20 people before. Dorian had been pretty confident in the beginning, He had a harpoon gun, he was swimming (which was always a plus in his book) and he hadn't seen the creature just yet., which was a nice thing to start with now it worried him greatly. THen the tentacle wrapped around Dorian's leg and pulled. DOrian wheeled his harpoon around and attempted to shoot the long tentacle but, another grabbed his arm and pulled breaking the arm. Dorian screamed in pain as another tentacle circled his neck.
Dorian woke with a start to his office mate staring at him quizzically. "What?" Dorian asked rubbing his temple lightly as he rejoined the land of the waking.
"How was the date I set you up with last night?" Dorian sighed, he really needed to stop getting dates from Dr. Chow.
"It didn't go well, I was pretty sure she wanted to eat me.... not in that way." he mumbled at the facial response from Chow. "She ordered sushi and stared at me while she ate it." Dorian chuckled at the suggestion at another date.
"No you've done enough for me." He waved off his friend as he packed up his papers and headed out of the office than out of the building. Once he was on the street though he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched
