The planet looked as dreary and boring as its statistics described. A backwater world, with little to no intelligent life, and no form of civilisation that showed up on the scans. And if the scans weren't picking anything up, it was unlikely that anything was down there. Not a lot of things could hide from the equipment on the Dalek ship, and anything that could would soon be found. Davros looked out of the bridge's viewport as his metal fingers drummed on the control panel of his life support chair. Since there were no intelligent life forms on the planet, it was a perfect target for Dalek occupation. Normally his creations wouldn't bother with worlds like this. But it was a strategic point with regard to the surrounding solar systems. A base here would allow the Daleks to strike out at all the worlds surrounding it for millions of light years around.
As red Dalek drones worked at control panels set around the bridge, Davros turned to the Supreme Dalek. "Send the troops down to begin the occupation. Find a site to land and establish a base. Then we will spread out around the planet."
"The in-va-sion will com-mence!" the Supreme Dalek shouted, before turning to give orders to the rest of the Daleks. Davros had to admit, he felt proud. Proud of this New Dalek Paradigm that had formed. Pure Daleks. Of course, they regarded him as impure, but they seemed to give him more liberty than those who had been on the Crucible. What disturbed him was that the didn't remember the Doctor. He'd checked, and found that any information about the Time Lord had been removed from the Path Web. He was still working on restoring it. But maybe the Doctor would show up here, somehow. Davros had of course planned for that eventuality. And if he did appear, then the Daleks would know why he had been called the Oncoming Storm, the Predator. It was only a matter of time.
