The theater that Evelyn lived in was doing some stupid talent show. And Eve was being made to participate in it. She tried to say no, because she really didn't like being in front of people. But they said if she wanted to continue staying there, that she would be in it. So here she was, standing behind the big red velvet curtains waiting for her turn to go on stage. She was actually quite surprised at the number of people who decided to turn up for the Talents show.
The theater was packed full, maybe 200, 300 people showed up to watch the stupid show. And that made Eve even more scared. Swallowing nervously she smoothed down the front of her red ballet outfit, and decided to go somewhere back stage that wasn't filled to the brim with people. She walked over to a trap door in the ceiling, and pulled it down climbing up the steps that led to the attic, and her bedroom. Once inside she closed the trap door, locking it behind her to keep out any curious visitors.
She walked over to the corner and sat down, leaning her head on her hand. She wasn't really good at anything, except science, math, history, and some mechanics, but nothing that would actually be considered a 'talent'. So with the help of the London library, she read every book known to man kind on Ballet. Watched numerous you tube videos, and watched the ballet school practice their recitals. She hoped that she had done enough research on Ballet that she wouldn't make a complete fool of herself. With a sigh she leaned back Against the wall, and pulled her knees up burring her face in them. She was going to mess up on stage and make a complete fool of herself in front of 300 people. And this would just give the kids who beat her up once a week more ammo....
