Kara walked around the corner, only to be stopped by another dead end. With an exasperated sigh, she turned back around to try another route. She was trying to find her way to Scotland Yard, but finding anything in London was like finding your way through a Labyrinth. She stopped a older woman on the street to ask for directions.
" Excuse me, miss? Would you by chance know the way to Scotland Yard?" Kara gave the woman a polite smile.
" It depends how much you want to get there." The woman rubbed her fingers together indicating that she was expected to be paid for the information. Kara's smile faded into a frown as she fished in her bag for her wallet. When she finally found it, she brought it out opening it to see how much she had.
" I only have twenty dollars." Without warning the woman took Kara's wallet and ran off. Kara let the woman run off, thinking to herself it wouldn't do any good to get stressed over it. She continued her way through London, trying to find where the heck Scotland Yard was. Passing a coffee shop, she momentarily looked inside thinking that she might be able to get directions there. But decided against it.
" If I was Scotland Yard, where would I be?" She stopped for a second looking around her, then decided to walk across the street to a park. Maybe she would find directions there.
