Donna was sick of fighting with Shawn, everything seemed like a fight with him these days... More than usual, they all seemed to stem from these headaches she kept getting. Today though, had been the worst fight yet, she had told him about how she'd visited Cecil in America, and asked him about the man in the tan coat. Shawn hadn't been pleased when he found that out, and just started telling Donna that she was going mad, and that if she didn't stop talking about the man in the than jacket he was going to check her into a mental institution.
At that suggestion she had stormed out of the house, Donna Temple-Noble did not take kindly to threats, she decided that she would take a walk to clear her mind and give both Shawn and herself time to calm down before they said something either of them would regret.
She frowned, she loved her husband to death, but somehow ever since she married him she still felt like something was missing from her life, she found herself thinking that way a lot lately, on her walk she saw her the man from down the road, Mr. Maitland driving home, she waved at him.
As she walked by the Maitland's house she bumped into a man walking towards an old Police Box, "Oi. Watch it Chin boy!"

The Doctor was returning to the TARDIS after making sure Clara got home safely. He put his hands in his jacket, kicking a pebble along the sidewalk. He stared down at the concrete as it passed beneath him, oblivious to his surroundings. He finally pried his gaze away from the sidewalk just in time to collide with a short red head. " Oy! Watch it red!" The Doctor continued walking towards the TARDIS.
"Oi. Watch it Chin boy!" The Doctor stopped abruptly, swinging around to face the red head who had ran into him. His breath caught in his throat. " Donna?" He practically ran up to her, pulling her into a bone crushing hug. " Donna! It's you, it's really you!" The Doctor quickly let go of Donna, pulling down his vest, then straightening his bow tie. The doctor forgot that he had erased Donna's memories to keep her brain from burning. " I mean, rude red head lady who I just met on the street."
Just as quickly as it had happened, the Doctor spun away from her, making a way back to his TARDIS. He was dying to spend just a little more time with her, but he was afraid, even in his new regeneration, that she might remember and die. And he would do anything to keep that from happening, even if it meant leaving her again.
The man seemed just as frazzled as Donna was, "Nobody calls me Red except Gramps!" She fired back to the man with the bow tie. Then just as suddenly as she fired that retort at him he'd turned around and started hugging her.
"Get your bloody hands off me, I'm a married woman!" She proclaimed as the man started talking to her as if she was an old friend, "I-" she struggled to peel the man off her, "Don't even know who you are!" She told him, then just as quickly as he'd hugged her he was walking away, and rather quickly at at that.
Just then a thought dawned on her, this man seemed to know who she was, and she had no reason to know him. Maybe he also knew something about her mystery man in tan. She decided she'd follow him for a few moments and see where he led her.
"Hey Chin?" She jogged and caught up with him, "Where do you know me from?" She asked him flat out, "Nothing in my life makes sense anymore, my family thinks I'm crazy, and I keep having these strange dreams about a man in a tan coat." She explained to him, as she pulled out her bag and popped an asprin, her head had started to hurt ever since the strangely dressed man had practically admitted to knowing her.
"So please..." Her tone softened and she begged, her eyes quivering as if on the brink of tears, "If you know anything about me at all, if somehow you actually do know me, and it seems to me like you do... Please tell me what you know. I hate that my life feels meaningless and like it's missing something."
The pair were standing in front of a blue police box now, and something instinctively inside Donna made her stand in front of the door to the TARDIS.
"Chin?" Why did everyone give him that nickname! He paused and looked at Donna as she practically begged him to tell her anything that would help find out who she was. It broke the Doctor's hearts to see Donna like this. He wished that he could tell her anything about her travels with him, but he just couldn't. The Doctor took a deep breath and moved closer to Donna putting a hand on her shoulder. " I wish I could help you with your problems. But I know nothing about you."
The Doctor moved Donna away from the TARDIS door's, and scrambled around in his pockets for the key. He unlocked the door, and pushed it open enough for him to be able to look inside, but not Donna. He turned back around. " It has been lovely meeting you, it really has. I hope you find a solution to your problem." With a half smile, the Doctor walked through the door, closing it behind him.
