Original
Name: Brianne LaClaire
Age: 17
Gender: Female.
Species: Human
Planet of Origin:Earth, France.
Occupation: Student, future poet and part-time teacher. (Adult)
Physical Description: Brianne has pale skin, blonde hair and brown oval eyes. She often wears different color streaks in her hair, but pink is definitely her favorite, so she has that most of the time. Brianne stands at about 5`5 in height, and weighs around 110 lbs. As for her clothing, she mix and matches, really. In her younger age, she was a serious tomboy, and refused to wear skirts (although she often had to wear dresses, and she reluctantly did), but as she grew older, she began to like girly clothing more. Brianne, when she was a teenager, didn't care much (if at all) for her appearance, and yet as she gotolder she worried about it much more, perhaps more so than necessary.
Personality: Brianne is a very kind girl, and she likes to help out anywhere and everywhere that she can. She likes comforting people and she’s very understanding and sympathetic. Despite the fact that she can act very sweet and innocent, she’s the opposite of that a lot of the time. She’s very adventurous and curious and she likes to explore. She can be slightly nosey at times, but that’s mostly because she just wants to help people. She often describes this as her ‘wild side’ when she actually does talk about herself, which is very rare. Sometimes she clings to people she becomes friends with/gets to know, for the pure reason that sometimes she feels very alone and very unloved and so as a result whenever someone comes along who just might start to like her and care about her, Bri finds it very hard to let this person out of her life. She may seem happy-go-lucky and childish because of her age, but in reality Brianne is very deep and serious even from a young age, even though most people doubt that’s true. She’s a smart enough girl, but sometimes she just loses her common sense. In some situations, she panics, and sometimes (not usually, but sometimes) that makes her come up with great plans. But not always.
Brianne has a very sassy side to her, and she can put up a very good argument when she needs to. She’s a good liar, but when she has close enough friends, it’s easy to tell when she’s lying. Often, there’s a look in her eyes; perhaps of guilt or maybe of distance, one of the two. But the point is, when someone knows her well enough, it’s fairly easy for them to tell when she’s lying. She always puts everyone else before herself, and she has a very protective, motherly attitude towards most people. She acts very tough and confident a lot of the time, but on the inside she can sometimes be a scared little girl who doesn’t know much about the world, although she’s eager to find out.
Brianne can often doubt herself and sometimes the self-confidence that she only appears to have can fade, and she doubts her abilities. At those times, she just needs someone to talk to, or even just to sit with her in silence. Even without words being said, Bri spending time with someone quietly can really help her. As a child she could be very…eh…tomboyish and rough, to say the least. Despite the fact that she can be a tomboy and acts like she has no hormones/emotions, she’s a hopeless romantic and she is constantly waiting for her ‘handsome prince’ to come along and sweep her off her feet. She grows into a very wise, gentle and mature woman, but she’ll always have that childish, mischievous and curious streak in her, whatever age she is. She’s always very unique and she loves being a individual person. She’s a very creative girl, but most of her creativity comes out in writing poems.
History: Brianne was born in Paris, France at 12:12 PM on the 12th of December. So from that moment on, Bri’s mother considered 12 as her lucky number. That is, until she realized that Bri’s father had vanished while she was having the baby. Bri’s mother, Sandra, was absolutely distraught, and the idea of raising Brianne on her own frankly terrified her. Still, she tried very hard…for a while, anyway. When Brianne was four, Sandra began to slowly lose it. She couldn’t bear the fact that she was now burdened with a child all the time and she could never do anything fun, since she didn’t have a partner to look after Bri while she was off having fun. Most parents didn’t need to go out and party and such when they had a kid, but Sandra felt like she ‘needed’ to. She wasn’t fit to be a parent, and she knew that, and a lot of the time she was very hard on Brianne, telling her that Sandra wished Bri had never been born and that life had been so much easier without her. Those words stung at first, but slowly Brianne got used to the constant abuse (verbally and sometimes even physically, if she was mad enough) her mother gave her. Every night since Bri was five, she got left alone while her mother went out partying all night. She had to get used to eating scraps out of the fridge until she was 10, when she learned how to microwave things. And every night since she was five, Bri cried herself to sleep and she vowed to try to be perfect. But as she grew up, she realized this wasn’t possible.
When Bri was 8 years old, she met a boy named Leon. She was sad because of a fight with her mother and she was laying in a park by herself. She’d been crying quite a bit and she’d gotten to the point where she was just quietly snuffling. He plopped down beside her and asked her what was wrong, and from there a very close friendship was carved. They were inseparable, mainly because Brianne was scared that he’d leave her. But he never did, thankfully. He became her very best friend, and for a while he was her first crush, but later on it got to the point where he was past the romantic interest, and she just saw him as a brother.
Her mother got very ill when Brianne was aged 12, with something that Bri wasn’t sure of, and despite the fact that Brianne was willing to nurse her back to health, Sandra didn’t want her daughter’s help, except for getting her things. Sandra treated Brianne like a slave for every day she was ill, and she was even more harsh to her than she ever had been before. Bri got to the point where she just got so tired of being pushed around, but she didn’t fight back until she was 14. She and her mother had a blazing argument and Bri stormed out…and straight to the park where she first met Leon. She swung rather…fiercely on the swings and jumped off, pretending she could fly. She landed on the grass, which knocked the wind out of her slightly, but she was unharmed. Leon eventually found her, and took her on an adventure that she’d never forget…but that wasn’t a good thing.
It started out very fun; they ended up in France in the 1800s, just before the French revolution. They were fine at first, and they even managed to get Brianna a dress (even though she didn’t think it suited her that much) so that they didn’t draw too much attention. The dress earned her the nickname Paon, which meant Peacock, from Leon. However, a couple of boys started to bully her, and when Leon stuck up for her, all hell broke loose. It was simply words at first, but then it led to violence and the ring leader of the group hurt Bri. That made Leon…lose it a bit. He ended up breaking every bone in the boy’s face because of what he did. Bri managed to get him away…with the ‘help’ of a man called The Reaper, although he introduced himself as Armand. He took them to a cathedral, where he was going to help them hide, and while Brianne didn’t think much of it, Leon seemed to have a bad feeling about Armand.
He managed to convince them to stay for a while, so they could hide out there, but then things took a rather…unexpected turn to say the least. Armand suddenly had Bri at knifepoint, glaring at Leon. The knife that Armand had was pressed against Bri’s throat, and Leon drove his own knife. Armand threw Bri aside and advanced on Leon. But she wasn’t going to let him kill Leon, oh no, he was her only friend! So Bri got in the way, and the Reaper stabbed her in the collarbone. And even though nothing major was damaged, it bled so much Bri started to feel weak and tired and basically like she was dying. She collapsed and while Leon dealt with Reaper, Brianne tried her best to hang on. A million thoughts were obviously running through her mind. She thought she was dying, and it definitely looked like she was. She fell unconscious after telling Leon it wasn’t his fault and that “this adventure was the most fun she’d ever had” , but of course it definitely looked like she was dead. After giving her a mini ‘ceremony’, Leon left.
And a few hours later, Bri woke up. She was confused, alone and she felt like death warmed up, but she was alive. And for a few moments she was scandalized at the thought that Leon had abandoned her, but then she remembered what had happened. But now she was stuck in 1870, and she wasn’t getting used to it. For a few weeks, after managing to get her knife wound seen to, she had to live in 1870 France, which was a very scary concept for her. But then, she got found by a blonde girl with a device on her wrist that gave her the ability to take Bri home…and the first thing the blonde said when she saw Brianne was “You’re my brother’s best friend!”
So after the blonde, who said her name was Kitty, took Bri back to her own time, Bri decided that she’d leave it a couple months before going to see Leon, mainly because her mother had died and plus Brianne decided she’d simply needed to adjust. But things didn’t go quite according to plan, and before the couple of months were up Brianna saw Leon again…and she had never been happier to have her best friend back.
And from there, there were many adventures...
