As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

Renegade stares at the man in front of him with mild irritation when he began to basically fawn over him like some human after a famous person. He was neither proud nor happy to be the most well known man on Gallifrey or the universe. He didn't like his job, his purpose for existing, he didn't appreciate the hero worship. He did however relax a bit when the man lowered his weapons before finally putting them away. Then the man opened his mouth again.
"The Valeyard. Commander of The Forgotten Armies and fellow warrior on this god forsaken battlefield."
He stared at the outstretched hand like it was a Dalek's blaster. His eyes blazed with barely masked anger and mistrust. He neither reached for it nor took his hand off it. He may no longer be the Doctor but he still remembered when he was. He remembered all this creature had put him through. The Trial that nearly claimed his life back in his fourth incarnation when the only thing that saved him was the Master. Then the humiliation of having to save this man again when he was on trial. Well okay he did somewhat enjoy that bid, but only a little. To think the man was now wanting a handshake from him was ludicrous!
When he spoke to Oracle and made like he was Renegade's long time comrade then simply acknowledged him set him over. Renegade pulled his arm back then punched at Valeyard with all his strength. He didn't look to see if he made contact as he then turned and stormed back onto the battlefield leaving the man behind and hoping Oracle had the intelligence to leave and follow him away from the beast. He shot a few Daleks enjoying their screams as he made his way back to the battlefield. At least in this element he knew what to do, this made sense to him. It was simple, as easy as flying the TARDIS to him, it was what he existed for, he was the Warrior.
She’d often heard that flattery would get you know where in life and it seemed Oracle was witnessing it firsthand. Just looking at the way The Renegade looked at The Valeyards hand she could tell that there was no love lost there. Taking a step back as The Renegade threw the punch at The Valeyard Oracle let out a soft whistle, not sure if connected or not but if it did, the force Renegade put behind his swing that punch was gonna hurt.
Curiosity overwhelmed her sense of duty as she passed Valeyard “To be honest, you did kinda did ask for it.” she shrugged and without a another word Oracle took off, covering the distance Renegade had gained on her with ease. “I take it you two have history then?” She knew it was really none of her business but she still wanted to know.

The battle raged fiercely around the Towers, the air filled with the shrill mechanical screams of the Daleks. The epicenter of the fighting was the Tower of Canonicity. A large squad of Daleks, some humanoid and some not, had smashed their way through the Time Lord defenses. There, at the base of the Tower of Canonicity, was where the fighting lay heaviest. Men clad in the red and gold of Gallifrey standing against the ominous metal forms of the Daleks, which glided soundlessly from the trees. The massive grey-gold tower rose above, looming over the two armies that battled in it's shadow.
A man strode through the chaos, gripping a staser in one hand. A silvery, glistening trenchcoat fell around him, stained and bloodied, coated with days of grime and gore. His black hair fell to his shoulders, dancing in the air as he ducked and weaved through the fighting. With a precision blast, he sent a Dalek crashing to the ground, it's travel machine smashing into the dust, a plume of smoke rising from the rubble. He raced up to it, and with a quick, ruthless blast, killed the still-squirming squid inside. Without hesitation, he bounded away into the tumult, firing at Daleks wildly.
He turned and gazed into the forest. There should be a batallion there, and it might be possible to have them flank the enemy to-
A buzzing sound in his ear interrupted him. "War-General, we have dispatched the...reinforcements you requested."
Omen looked up, gazing at the sky for any sign of a Gallifreyan Dropship or a platoon of War-TARDISes.
"We couldn't spare mass troops, so we sent..." There was a tremble of awe and fear from the voice on the other side before it spoke again. "..we sent the Renegade. He's deployed east of your position."
Omen spat into the dust and cursed in High Gallifreyan. "That bastard? He's mad. He took on an entire warship of Daleks, alone! I need actual troops, not a maverick with a grudge."
There was no response, and he knew the conversation was over. Barking a few orders for his troops to cover him, he turned eastward and barreled into the forest.
Renegade felt a bit more calm as he stormed past fallen trees and the burning husks of Dalek casings. The scent of battle filled him with a new resolve and he fired off a few more shots at screaming Daleks. A flash of light lit up behind him and he dodged to the side as the discharge from a Dalek blaster flew past where his left heart would have been. Bugger! This is not good, not good at all. He found he was surrounded by a good eight Daleks. Their metallic cries for surrender filled him with hatred, his twin hearts began to race, his blood rushed through his veins, he was a warrior! In a daring move he raised his gun and pointed it at the lead Dalek. "I give you one chance Dalek, run away, leave Gallifrey, or die. The choice is yours."
"DA-LEKS DO NOT FLEE!! SUR-REN-DER DOC-TOR!!" The Dalek Commander's voice rose with every syllable tell he was sure the entire planet could hear the evil being's voice.
"You just made two mistakes Dalek. One you refused my offer, and two you called me Doctor. I am not the Doctor." He pointed his gun and noticed the immediate moves of the other Daleks. He'd never be able to shoot the lead Dalek and live to shoot the other ones.
"YOU ARE SUR-ROUN-ED TIME LORD!!" Well at least the Dalek had dropped the name.
"I am the Renegade. You made your final mistake Dalek. You gave me a battle with no outlet." With that he fired his gun then ducked. Seven lasers flew over his body barely missing him. So Daleks can miss. He flipped around and fired off two more shots, two more Daleks fell. Now he has five more. Except he also had a new problem, his blaster only had two more shots before it would need to cool down. This was not good at all. "Hmm this might be a problem." He began to back away and take aim. He had a smaller gun but that gun would be useless against these Dalek. With a sense of finality he fired one of his shots, a Dalek blew up. Then he fired his last shot, with horror he saw it fly wide and hit a tree. How had he missed that shot? He looked down at his overheating gun and his eyes widen. A Dalek had hit his gun and knocked out the system. His gun was now going to shoot oddly unless he replaced it and soon. "Oh dear, this is not good at all."
Oracle kept her distance from The Renegade as she followed him through the woods, she knew that look on his face to well, she’d it to many times on other peoples face over the years so she figured best to give him his space some.
She’d fallen behind a little too much dealing with her own set of Daleks when she heard Renegades blaster go off “crap.” shooting a Dalek in the eyestalk before knocking it over on its side she took off making her way towards were she thought Renegade had gotten to.
"DA-LEKS DO NOT FLEE!! SUR-REN-DER DOC-TOR!!" Oracle stopped, wait she hadn’t heard anything about The Doctor being on world what were they talking about. "You just made two mistakes Dalek. One you refused my offer, and two you called me Doctor. I am not the Doctor." moving forward quietly Oracle managed to get into view as Renegade took out most of the Daleks before his gun started missing.
Seeing she had no option Oracle dropped low and rushed the one Dalek left attacking it like a wild child, knocking it to ground, this time showing no mercy as she pulled out her gun and fired till she managed to get the top of the casing off and started firing into it. “Next time, don’t assume there’s only one person on the field.”

Renegade smiled at the woman and began to fire on the blasted Daleks without mercy. He was the Warrior, the Renegade, he was the Defender of Gallifrey. He was so sick of this war, so sick of these invaders to his planet. He glared at the beasts and fired at them all tell none were left, well none visible. “Thank you miss. You just saved me an untimely regeneration.” He smiled and leaned on the butt of his gun. “We seem to have lost our other….visitors.” He glowered at the lightly used term of “visitor”.
“I must apologize for that ghastly representation of my race from those two men. Time Lords are usually much more refined than those two were showing us to be.” He leaned heavily on his gun and looked around cautiously. “Shall we hunt more of the beasts or do you require a respite?” He looked over at her concerned. He didn’t know how long she had been fighting or how long she could stay fighting without a breather. She certainly didn’t look weary to him. “If not might I suggest we go and look for the commander of this planet’s defenses?” He looked towards the road the Daleks had came from and wondered if that was where they were heading.
“Thank you miss. You just saved me an untimely regeneration.” Oracle held her arms out beside her a little and bowed the tiniest of bits but smirked a little when Renegade said that they had lost their visitors “Well, that’s a good thing, for the most part.” she was still a bit miffed at the one guy for pulling a gun on her and demanding to know her rank and everything.
“I must apologize for that ghastly representation of my race from those two men. Time Lords are usually much more refined than those two were showing us to be.” Oracle waved her hand a little “Don’t worry about it, I’ve met good Time Lords and I’ve met bad, it’s the same with every race.” She tilted her head a little when he leaned on his gun and he asked her if she needed to rest, shaking her head “No, I’m fine but I was getting ready to ask you the same question.”
Oracle nodded when he suggested that they find the commander of the planets defenses “Last I heard…he should be over that hill if I’ve got my barring’s correct.”

Renegade couldn’t help but smile at the fact Oracle seemed so happy about the fact they had lost the annoying men. “I think it is simply a good thing. They were clearly not experienced in battle and not to mention they simply were annoying.” Yes he knew that was rude but he simply didn’t care at this point. Why be nice to those who didn’t deserve it.
“Don’t worry about it, I’ve met good Time Lords and I’ve met bad, it’s the same with every race.”
He quirked a brow at the woman and chuckled. “I agree Oracle, Time Lords come in all sorts of personalities. However most of us tend to at least try to be civil.” He shrugged and looked away. “Well to their own kind at least, they do have a tendency to be rude and dismissive to other races.” He shrugged and continued to look into the woods searching for any signs they were being watched.
“No, I’m fine but I was getting ready to ask you the same question.”
Renegade frowned and sighed, he’d been caught. “It has been a while since I took a breather. A small rest would be beneficial but we have a battle to fight.” He glanced at her and shook his head. “I can’t just abandon the war efforts to take a nap.” He really hoped the woman didn’t point out the fact he’d be better served not exhausted than the shape he was in, he knew he had no dispute against that.
“Last I heard…he should be over that hill if I’ve got my barring’s correct.”
He smiled and pushed off his gun. “Then that is our next” his sentence was interrupted by an almighty yawn “destination.” He blinked his eyes and walked forward a few steps. “But first can we stop by my TARDIS so I can grab an energy bar or something.” He wouldn’t sleep, not tell this battle was won, but he needed energy if he was to survive. He had equipped his food dispenser on the TARDIS to give an energy rich bar for him. The bar would temporarily energize him, but when finally did sleep he would sleep all the deeper.
Oracle tried to hide a small smile when his sentence was interrupted by a yawn that Renegade seemed to of been unprepared for “But first can we stop by my TARDIS so I can grab an energy bar or something.” Oracle tilted her head to the side and leaned forward a little in a bowing motion out of respect for another fighter when knowing that they need a form of rest “Course.”
Holding her hand out in front of her she motioned for him to lead the way “One question though, why did the Dalek refer to you as The Doctor?” She’d met The Doctor a couple of times but never enough to leave a mark in his memory or at least she hoped it hadn’t, anonymity was Oracles way of life.

The Renegade smiled at her and dipped his own head in thanks. He turned and began to make his way back towards his TARDIS and sighed in annoyance. “This war is beginning to take it’s toll on me. I grow weary.” He stumbled a bit over a Dalek eyestalk and hissed in annoyance. “Why can’t these things just die?” He hated Daleks with such a passion.
“One question though, why did the Dalek refer to you as The Doctor?”
He stopped and turned to stare at the woman. “It was clearly confused my dear. The Doctor is dead.” He turned and continued forward slowly. “The Doctor died a long time ago. I do not know why the Dalek referred to me as the Doctor.” He shuddered and looked forward. He hoped the woman bought his lie otherwise things were about to get very confusing.
Oracle reached forward when she saw Renegade stumble a bit over a Daleks eyestalk but drew back her hand when his hissed out his words of annoyance, this was a man Oracle needed to make sure she didn’t cross, he had seen more blood and war then she ever hoped not to see.
“It was clearly confused my dear. The Doctor is dead.” she started to argue a little but stopped for the moment when he continued “The Doctor died a long time ago. I do not know why the Dalek referred to me as the Doctor.” Oracle shook her head a little “No, not true. I’ve met him, couple of times and he has spoken of the Timewar.” Oracle did however catch the shudder that ran over Renegade so she decided it may be the best to let the issue, for now, drop there “But I guess it doesn’t matter huh, their Daleks can’t trust anything they say.”

The Renegade turned to her slightly and sighed. “My dear I saw him die, I was there when it happened.” He said that then let the matter drop and continued to walk to his TARDIS.
“But I guess it doesn’t matter huh, their Daleks can’t trust anything they say.”
“Indeed that is right. Daleks are not worth your trust. They are just monsters with guns, very powerful guns.” He continued on his way and then sighed. “They are just worth your gun to their casing.” He then mumbles softly to himself. “I should have just destroyed them when I had the chance. Then this would have never happened and so many who are now dead would be alive.”
He knew however given the chance to redo that he would still make the same choice. The Doctor had made the right choice when he didn’t kill the Daleks. He had been right. “Ah here we are.” He opened the door to his TARDIS. “In you go.” He pointed inside for her to enter.
“Ah here we are.” Oracle titled her head a little looking at Renegades TARDIS, “A police box?” she wasn’t knocking it just sometimes the Timelords had funny tastes in what they liked their transports to look like “In you go.” Oracle looked from side to side a little a little before heading into his Tardis.
She stopped when she got in, the being bigger on the inside still hit her even after all these years “Whoa, wicked.”

The Renegade turned and looked at her with a soft smirk on his face. “Aye she’s a Police Box. She won’t stop being one actually; I really do need to find the time to fix that Chameleon Circuit sometime.” He shrugged and continued into the ship himself. He mentally prepared himself for the customary “it’s bigger on the inside” comment that was sure to come.
“Whoa, wicked.”
He blinked to himself in shock and muttered softly. “Well that’s a new one.” He then turned to look at his quest with a smile. “Yes she really is something isn’t she? She’s been loyal to me in the best and worst of things. She has never left my side ever.” He suddenly reflected inward just how much like a couple that made the two of them sound. He quickly shook his head against such thoughts.

“Well that’s a new one.” Oracle shrugged a little as she moved in a small circle looking around at her surroundings “The interiors nice, I’ll give you that.” she stopped mid turn and kind of made a face like she was finding it hard to believe those words came out of her mouth.
“Yes she really is something isn’t she? She’s been loyal to me in the best and worst of things. She has never left my side ever.” Softly “Must be nice.” Oracle had never really stayed in one place very long and kept friends even lesser so she sort of envied him of the luxury. Shaking her head she pulled herself out of her thoughts before it was allowed to go any further and said more audibly “Sounds like a married couple.” she returned her attention to Renegade “So, what was it you said you needed to get again.”
