We are a small but welcoming group of Doctor Who enthusiasts that also share a love for Roleplay! We have members of all sorts of RP styles and levels of experience, so don't be shy if you're new! We all start somewhere!
As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

The Renegade stared at the woman slightly and then shrugged. “Thanks. I’m sure she’s pleased to hear that.” He went to the console and set the coordinates for the vortex. He didn’t want to go too far out of the way since he was still needed in this location, but since he was planning to leave the console room he also didn’t want a Dalek to get it into its mindset to attack his TARDIS while he was away either.
“Must be nice.”…“Sounds like a married couple.”…“So, what was it you said you needed to get again.” He returned his gaze to her stunned and then shrugged again. “It’s nice yes, gets a bit lonely at times though.” He returned his gaze to his task at hand then once finished he hit launch sending them into space. His head jerked up at the married couple line. “We most certainly are not a married couple! She’s a loyal ship yes but she is still a ship.” He turned and made his way to the hallway and then called back. “The kitchen is this way. You can have a snack if you’d like.” He didn’t wait for an answer and began to walk down the long hallway hoping the kitchen was in the same place he had left it.

“It’s nice yes, gets a bit lonely at times though.” Oracle tried hide the look on her face about how she knew that feeling all too well as she moved with ease as the vibrations of Renegades Tardis taking off.
“We most certainly are not a married couple!” she tried to hide the smirk at the tone Renegade used and instead just said softly “Thanks for making my case for me.” “She’s a loyal ship yes but she is still a ship.” Oracle laid a hand lightly on a part of the console “...From what I understand of TARDIS’s they’re living so, little more than just a ship.”
“The kitchen is this way. You can have a snack if you’d like.” Oracles stomach let out a small growl, ok maybe a snack wouldn’t be a bad idea so she took off after Renegade closing the distance that had gained between then with ease.

Once he got to the kitchen he began to make himself one of the protein bars that you could flavor according to your favorite flavors. He chose his most recent favorite, tapioca pudding with cinnamon and nutmeg. When the bar came out he gratefully took a bite and savored the taste. He then got a packet of white liquid energy that was flavored as root beer and drunk the package.
When he sat down he sighed in pleasure and closed his eyes. Speaking without really looking to see if his guest was present he told her how to use it. “Just enter your favorite flavor and a protein bar flavored it will show up. The same goes for the drink only it’s in a pouch. If you don’t see your favorite try exploring a bit, that’s always fun.” He smiled briefly while enjoying the feeling of the energy drink and food relieved the ache in his body and lifted the cloud from his mind brought there by his exhaustion. He’d have to return to the field soon though.

Oracle had taken up leaning against the kitchen door watching Renegade as he used the machine staying silent.
She pushed off the door frame when he got done talking to her “Umm, yeah ok.” going over to the machine she scrolled through the flavors it had for a minute before deciding on some sort of butterscotch flavor with a watermelon pouch. Taking them she went over and sat down across from Renegade, she started to guard her food then stopped herself. Taking a bite she leaned back in the chair a little and enjoyed the silence between the two of them for a second while she chewed.
“Mind if I ask you a question?”

The Renegade watched her eat and sighed enjoying the silence. He noticed her start to guard her food briefly before calming down. “My dear if I wanted to take your food I’d have made myself more than I did.” He hummed softly to himself before returning to the silence he enjoyed so much. He sipped calmly at the pouch of liquid and finished the energy bar. He leaned back and closed his eyes beginning to meditate slightly. Then he heard her question and opened an eye to regard her. “Yes you may my dear. What is it?” His eyes rested calmly and expectantly on her.
“My dear if I wanted to take your food I’d have made myself more than I did.” Oracle popped her knuckles a little on one hand and fidgeted a little where she sat for a moment “…force of habit.”
“Yes you may my dear. What is it?” Oracle popped the last bit of her energy bar into her mouth “Why’d they drag you into this? I mean I thought they had enough people.”

The Renegade shrugged and leaned back again. “Fair enough, the war changes us in strange ways. Rest assured though that there is enough food to go around on this ship.” He offered her a small smile of reassurance before settling back and letting himself relax again. Then he opened his eyes to let her know he was in fact listening to her.
“Why’d they drag you into this? I mean I thought they had enough people.”
He sighed softly at the question. “Well that is a broad question indeed. If you mean into the war then it is simply because I’m a Time Lord and this is a war over our planet. It is as much my duty to fight in it as it is any other Time Lord’s.” He leaned forward now. “But if you mean this specific location then it is because the skirmish is taking too long and the Council wants the battle over so it can focus the forces here on a new target. I’m here to speed things up.” He nodded and leaned back. “Did that answer your question?”

When Renegade started to explain Oracle sat back in her seat and listened “But if you mean this specific location then it is because the skirmish is taking too long and the Council wants the battle over so it can focus the forces here on a new target. I’m here to speed things up.” Ok, so the troops had been a little slow on the retaking of the planet she’d admit that “Did that answer your question?” Oracle leaned forward looking at the Renegade, trying not to be disrespectful but still her semi attitude shined through “Yeah sort of, but what is it that you can do that the rest of us can’t?”

The Renegade held back his anger and reminded himself that not everyone saw him the way he saw himself. He steepled his fingers and looked at her over them. “I cannot fight any better than anyone on this planet. I’m not genetically enhanced or any more experienced than any of you, frankly I’m probably less experienced than some of you. The reason they sent me to speed things up is for morale purposes Oracle. I can fight, but I’m here to give the troops a new feeling of hope to get their fight back. It’s nothing personal.” He stood and looked at her. “So now we are rested let’s return to the fray shall we?” He offered her his hand to help her stand up.
If Oracle hadn’t seen the same emotion on so many people’s faces over her lifetime she wouldn’t have caught the brief hint of anger that flashed across The Renegades face but as fast as it was there he seemed to rein it in just as fast. I think I may be able to learn something from this guy.
She listened silently as he talked, “I can fight, but I’m here to give the troops a new feeling of hope to get their fight back. It’s nothing personal.” Oracle nodded her head a little in understanding the troops did need a renewed sense of hope she’d admit that.
“So now we are rested let’s return to the fray shall we?” Oracle took his hand that he offered and stood up “Thanks, yeah I’m good to get back in the fight.”

He dipped his head in return for her thanks. “It was nothing my dear. I needed that reprieve more than you I think.” He turned and began to head toward the console room. “Yes the fight.” He made the way to the room in silence. His mind going over the last few minutes and how he felt this woman was more than just another soldier. She was fighting in the war yes but she seemed more than that. He felt a kindred spirit in her, something he only remembered from his time in other incarnation. She could become more than a comrade, what if he made her a companion. He shook his head to himself as he landed the ship. No, I can’t, that would be too dangerous.

Oracle followed behind Renegade silently, still building a mental map of the place as they went not that she figured she’d need it in the future it was just a habit she had developed over the years.
She watched as he moved around the console and landed his TARDIS “So, same position as before I take it.” she was just making conversation a lot of the Timelords she’d known had a tendency to say they were going to one place and they ended up in another.

The Renegade looked back as he heard her. “Not really, that’s too risky. I put us down a bit closer to the location we are aiming for. We are a little bit hidden by the forest for cover of course.” He opened the door readying his weapon and headed out into the fray.
After a bit he found himself back in the thick of things. With his strength renewed he easily began to fight leaping over Daleks and firing on them without mercy. He dodged a few shots before he finished off the last of the seven Daleks that had attacked. He looked around and nodded to himself. “I really hate these things.” He huffed and looked for his friend.
“Not really, that’s too risky. I put us down a bit closer to the location we are aiming for. We are a little bit hidden by the forest for cover of course.” Oracle thought about it for a second then nodded “Ok, makes sense.” When Renegade readied his weapon and headed out of his TARDIS Oracle ran electricity down her arms and followed him out.
The rest had been well worth it as Oracle found herself getting back into the fight with enthusiasm, to the point which she got a little cocky and almost didn’t hear the Dalek humanoid come up behind her and pull the trigger, she was fast but the shot still got Oracle in the side “Agh!”.
Turning on Dalek humanoid, Oracle fully body tackled it at the waist causing the both of them to fall to the ground and wrestle over the gun. Once she finally wrestled it away from the Dalek she proceeded to fire two quick shots without mercy.
When she was satisfied they weren’t gonna get up, Oracle went to stand but her knees decided it would be better if she didn’t so she ended up laying on the ground next to the deceased Dalek, wincing some when she moved. “You got cocky Oracle, see what happens.”
The Renegade frowned at the woman and tilted his head a bit. “Of course it makes sense. I wouldn’t have done it if it didn’t make sense.” He shook his head before running off to make some Daleks pay for invading his home world. He was not in a forgiving mood. As he shot down Dalek and Dalek humanoid alike he made sure to check that they were really dead and not playing dead.
“Agh!”
He jolted when he heard the scream and turned only to find himself face to gun with a Dalek Humanoid. He swiftly ducked and killed the Dalek woman before taking off to find his friend. He couldn’t lose her, not another friend. He refused to let her die alone like Adric had. The thought of his youngest companion stirred him to greater speeds as he heard the shots go off he felt his hearts clench in worry for the woman that was swiftly becoming his friend.
“You got cocky Oracle, see what happens.”
When he found her he heard her reprimand herself and felt a relieved smile replace his normal scowl. However he wiped it from his face before he cleared his throat softly to alert her to his presence. He slowly approached her not wanting to get fired at himself and said calmly. “Actually you got of lucky, most people I meet who get cocky are dead before they can remind themselves not to get cocky.” He knelt down. “Mind if I check the damage?” He looked at her in the eye to reassure her he meant her now harm.
