There were times, many times; where Nar’nia felt that being easily forgotten was the worst thing that had ever happened to her. After all, having to introduce yourself to the same classes nearly each time you show up tends to get a bit repetitive. However, she would argue that, while she mentally sulked at the idea of having to once again explain who she was; there were some perks. Like for one… she could potentially slip out of class and go explore the many wonders that the great Citadel of Gallifrey had to offer. After all, who would notice, right? It could be so very easy; she could just not go to class. Nar’nia watched as her fellow class mates wandered into her next class; this was her deciding moment, should she stay and go through another lecture on time-space? Or… should she slip out of the school to explore the city?
It seemed that while she spent the time overthinking if she should play hooky or not; her feet had already made a decision, moving her through the lighter crowds of students rushing to their classes, and out the front door. By the time her mind made its decision, she was already in one of the many court yards. With a smile, Nar’nia placed her books in her school bag, taking a deep breath of fresh air, admiring the sliver leaved trees that shimmered under the twin suns light. She genially felt at ease for the time being, as if at that moment things were going alright and there wasn’t a worry in the world. At least… for now.
(open for timelords/gallifreyans; Note: before time war.)
Sports, that was what he was good at, that and the combat coarses. But when it came to the actual Time/ Space Theory stuff….it wasn’t his kinda game. No, Dor’ain was all about practicality and being able to work with his hands. He needed to be doing something other than READING from some dusty tome. So instead of doing what he was SUPPOSED to do, and find himself stuck in a classroom listening to the dreary voice of his professor, he was walking through the streets of the city, his hands in his black and silver robes, long black hair tied into a ponytail behind his head. The very style was far from Time Lord normality, but he had seen it in a galactic species presentation and thought it looked cool…that was what….three “years” ago? Yeah, about that, so most had gotten used to it….but many thought of Dor’ain as an odd Gallifreyian who sought more off world then to stay on. Was that such a bad thing? He didn’t think so, but of course he was still young, what did he know.
A sigh escaped his lips as he continued to walk down the brilliantly color streets. It was a calm and lovely day and he couldn’t help but allow a smirk to creep upon his lips from the lightness his heart felt at the beauty around him. Did it really matter how different he was from others in his school, city, planet? Or was it more that he COULD be different….yes…yes that was it. That was EXACTLY It. And with that thought he continued to meander among the daily hubbub, his back straighter and his smirk now proudly shown. He was a Rebel, and you all had to deal with it
Debates and Combat that was what she felt she was bred for. Although she was bright she had a rageful temper and wandering mind. Yes Mirjhane was a hot headed adventure seeker. Oh how she dreamed of getting off this planet and travel the cosmos but it would be impossible with the path she was told to take. Her family wanted her to be apart of the council whether she wanted to or not. So as usual she is stuck in annoying classes and keeping up her reputation as a top student. She did however wear her hair in different shades of bright colors to keep her rebellious side alive. This time it was a teal color, to her this was her only way of rebelling against demands..for now. She walked down the Bright colored streets on her way to the forest, She had made a decision she never thought she would ever make. She would skip school.
As she walked through the streets she felt a sense of freedom. For once she had made a decision on her own with out thinking of the consequences. It felt good to have this sort of power over her life and she would fight anyone who tried to stop her. She felt like a powerful creature today one that was feared and yet idolized. She was a Dragon....yes she was a Dragon and she would not be stopped by no rules.
Nar’nia took a deep breath as she walked down the street, she had actually done it. She couldn’t believe that it actually worked, and she couldn’t help but feel the overwhelming sense that perhaps she shouldn’t have done that. After all, what if today her professors actually remembered who she was, or maybe she would have gotten a lab partner… On top of that, what if people actually noticed that she wasn’t in class? What would her father say if they reported it to him? What would her mother say?! Nar’nia’s head felt like it was spinning, perhaps she could quickly rush back to her class and merely get off with an apology for being late.
However, she was more focused on her panicked guilt-ridden thoughts, instead of what she should have been doing; paying attention to where she was walking. That is, until she had managed to walk straight into something; or rather someone. Startled by her sudden impact with the person in front of her, Nar’nia had fallen back onto the paved street. “S-sorry!” She apologized, hastily she helped herself back to her feet. “I-I am very s-sorry.” Looking up at the man who she had walked into, she quickly added, “A-are you a-alright? I-I really d-didn’t mean to… I-I was a… a bit lost in m-my t-thoughts.”
