Elizabeth Song is the daughter of The Eleventh Doctor and River Song. She was concieved aboard the TARDIS sometime around the wedding of River Song and is considered a miracle child as it was not thought to be possible that they could have a child. She is considered three quaters time lady and is able to regenerate.
Versions/Regenerations:
Elizabeth Song I.
Elizabeth was raised by River and The Doctor until the age of 4 when she was kidnapped by Madame Kovarian who swore she would not fail in her mission to kill The Doctor again and who better than his own flesh and blood? Elizabeth went through many hardships during her time with Madame Kovarian, Just like her mother and grandmother before her but even at a young age, she refused to co-operate which just made it all that much worse for her.
At the age of 14, She was rescued by a younger version of the Doctor who had no idea who she was after the TARDIS decided that was where he needed to be. She recognizes the TARDIS but not her father and requests to be dropped off at luna university, remembering that’s where her mother works.
The reunion however, is full of snark on Elizabeth’s part, her way of hiding the damage, just like her mother. Her reunion with her father goes better, probably because they don’t clash, though, the tears are only shed on his part. She remains numb.
She travels with her father and mother for a while and even reconiles with her grandparents, however, there was only so much she could take. Her parents weren’t the same towards eachother as she remembered which made it harder for her to be around them. She requests to be dropped off on earth and lives with Amy and Rory for a while. During her time with her grandparents, Elizabeth slowly starts to heal from her traumatic experience and starts to become closer to them then her parents who she still occasionaly saw.
On her 16th birthday, Elizabeth is given a blue book the spit of her mothers, she doesn’t understand what she’s supposed to with it considering she was not a fan of sharing her thoughts. However, she humors them and takes the gift. At 18 years of age Elizabeth studies Ecological & Environmental Sciences at Edinburgh university, she throws herself into this rather than concentrating on her home life which still wasn’t so good and years later, Elizabeth still continues to pretend nothing ever happened to her. [Even the nights she wakes herself with her own screams.]
After finishing her studies, Elizabeth finds herself with her own Vortex Manipulator [Which she conveniantly stole from her mother.] and travles the universe, getting herself into all sorts of trouble while trying her hardest to avoid her parents, especially River, who she had a rocky relationship with still.
This version of Elizabeth is snarky, Sarcastic and down right bitchy but that doesn’t mean she isn’t polite. To most she is, she was taught manners and punished when she didn’t use them afterall. She takes after her mother for hiding the damage and a part of her finds it hard to deal with what she went through but harder than that is facing her parents who she knew blamed themselves. Elizabeth holds some harsh feeling towards her parents thanks to Madame Kovarian who brainwashed her into thinking they didn’t care and that was why they didn’t come for her. The fact they seemed perfectly fine when she sees them for the first time again, also makes her feel rather abandoned so even though she knows they d o care deep down, this version of Elizabeth struggles to believe it.
She can kill without mercy and finds she is at peace with a gun in her hand which scares her and makes her feel like a monster. She would not hesitate in pulling the trigger on a gun or slicing someone’s throat if she saw no other way out. Another reason she finds herself unable to warm up to her parents.
Elizabeth Song II.
This version of Elizabeth doesn’t want a n y b o d y to know who she is. After getting into a sticky situation on one of her many adventures, she ends up getting herself killed, by the silence none the less. However, her regeneration energy kills them and as soon as she regenerates, she flees, pressing the randomizer button on then vortex manipulator and ending up in victorian london, right outside Madame Vastra’s.
After a lot of persuading, reluctantly, Elizabeth tells the Silurian everything and makes up a lie as to why she wants nobody to know where she is andd Vastra agrees she can stay on on condition-, she helps them with solving crime. Elizabeth agrees eagerly, thinking this might be a good chance for a new start, to forget her past and requests that they call her Kyra. No need to draw attention to herself, who knows who could be around and though Elizabeth was a rather popular name, she was taking no chances.
She spends a majority of her time helping Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax to Solve crimes but still travels the universe in her free time. She’s bumped into her mother several times but only one of those versions actually knew her and was f a r from pleased when she realised who Kyra was… her daughter.
This version of Elizabeth always has a sassy comment on the tip of her tongue and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or anybody else who may need it. She hates to be seen as vulnerable and is even worse than the first version of her for hiding the damage. In this generation, Elizabeth’s past haunts her less.
Elizabeth stares down at the Vortex Manipulator in her hands, the device she had stolen from her mother the last time they had met. They still knew eachother very little and weren’t exactly on the best of terms. Elizabeth was well aware wrong it was of her to steal it, however, wastes no time in strapping the device to her wrist, a smug smile on her lips as she does so.
Glancing down at it, she purses her lips momentarily, tryin to figure out how to work the thing. She’d seen River use it before but that was about it, meaning, it was mainly down to guess work. A slight fear churned in her stomach that she’d find herself somewhere she wasn’t familiar with and be unable to get back, however, it seemed to good of an oppurtunity to pass up.
Sucking in a deep breath, she fiddles with the device on her wrist momentarly before pressing the randomiser button, her breath catching in her throat as she disappears, appearing elsewhere. She stumbles at first, before a slight grin appears on her face. Until she sees the sign.
'Welcome to Luna University.'
A groan escapes her lips at the sign, she knew this was where her mother worked and it was most certainly the last place she wanted to turn up at. Glancing down at the device on her wirst, she is half tempted to press the button again, end up somewhere else but curiosity gets the better of her and she finds herself wondering inside, her eyes flickering around the empty corridors and she continues walking until a sign catches her eye.
Reception.
Following the sign, she walks up to the reception desk, tapping her nails patiently as she waits for the woman to get off the phone. “Can you tell me where River Song?” she questions, raising an eyebrow, not giving the woman chance to say two words before asking. The woman shoots Elizabeth a wary glance, to which she raises an eyebrow, watching as the woman typed something into the computer. “I’m afraid she’s teaching right now.. can I take a message?” She questions politely.
Elizabeth lets out an irritated sigh, her eyes narrowing. “No, let me rephrase. I need to see my mother. Now.” Her patience was limited and maybe it wasn’t fair on her to take her frustration out on this woman but she was going to anyway. When the woman still refuses to tell her, she storms around the other side of the desk, taking control of the womans computer and typing in her mothers name, finding out exactly what lecture hall she was in and writing it on her hand with a slight smirk. “Thank-you, you’ve been very helpful.” Elizabeth drawls out, sarcasm lacing her voice.
Flashing the woman a sweet smile, Elizabeth storms of in search of the lecture hall, finding several others before the one she was looking for. She hesitates outside the one her mother was teaching in, wondering whether or not to knock but instead, opens the door, walsing right inside. Her blue orbs study the room carefully, scanning the students and the rest of the hall before finally, turning to her mother, a sly smile tugging at the corner of her lips. “Hello mother, miss me?” She questions, eyes dancing with amusement.
[I can do better when pre-plotted. My replies also tend to be better than my starters.]
