The Magpie
?Trouble – it will find you
No matter where you go
No matter if you're fast
No matter if you're slow.?
It had meant to be a simple visit. The Magpie tended to go stir crazy and got bored very easily on The TARDIS, so, as often as The Nomad or The Phantom could pry themselves away from the console, they tried to let her visit Earth and stretch her legs.
Maggie was sixteen now, very close to being seventeen and her parents had become far less strict about letting Maggie wander around by herself. After all, normal teenagers wandered around the city all the time, so why not Maggie? Probably because she had the attention span of a squirrel. A very hyper one.
Okay, so maybe Cardiff wasn't the most exciting place to be dropped off. It was pretty quiet, the shopping center left something to be desired and her ADHD was nipping at her. No. She promised her parents she wouldn't wander off. They were supposed to come and reclaim her in about two hours and she was supposed to meet up with them.
That wasn't going to happen. Something flickered right past, only catching a glimpse out of the corner of her eye. That was all The Magpie needed to make her forget what she was doing and she adjusted her satchel to try and chase down the little mystery critter that was trying to elude her.
"Hey! Wait up. I'm not gonna hurt you!" she pleaded as she along, not bothering to keep track of where she was going so that she might possibly be able to retrace her steps. She was led to a large water fountain structure and she huffed when she realized she had both lost track of what she was chasing and.... she'd lost herself.
"Aw man. Dad's gonna kill me." she lamented as she did a quick look of her surroundings. "Well... Good job, Magpie.. I think we broke your old record." she scolded herself, referring to the breakneck speed in which she had gotten lost. She'd only been in Cardiff a grand total of ten minutes.

Notes/OOC:Warning.. Shenanigans with Magpie are not for the faint of heart. There will be laughter, tears, Joy, sorrow, a temperamental teenager with a wonky vortex manipulator and a home made sonic screw driver.. what could possibly go wrong?
