Name: The Master/ The Mistress
Age: Could be assumed to be at least 1300
Gender: Male/Female
Species: Time Lord/Time Lady
Planet of Origin: Gallifrey
Occupation: Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere
Physical Description:
When the Master had been locked away in a chest in the TARDIS, he had oozed out like slime, able to possess anyone that either had their mouth open or oozed into a person's ear. His eyes were like a cat, yellow and orange in their origin. He possessed a man that looked at least five foot ten in stature, with cropped hair. He also would wear sunglasses to cover up the abnormal eyes that he possessed. After he was thought to be dead, he came back as an older man, soon regenerating into a younger man, who would call himself Harold Saxon. "Harold Saxon" was short, having blonde hair and brown eyes. After dying and resurrecting, being put into a Time Lock with Rassilon, the Master, or Missy, escaped from the pocket universe of Gallifrey as a woman. The female version of the Master, the Mistress, is dressed like Mary Poppins: a hat tilted sideways on her head with some sort of floral decor as well as a long dress that sweeps against the floor. She holds an umbrella and wears an antique brooch at her neck.
Personality:
The Master/Mistress' personality is a very interesting one. Usually he/she uses other people for their own needs, like for example, in America, the Master brought Chang Lee to the TARDIS to help him open up the Eye of Harmony, and promised him wealth, when there was going to be nothing for him in the end. Usually, the Master/Mistress is also conniving in more ways than others, causing destruction and blaming others for his/her actions. The male version of the Master could be considered mentally insane because of the sound of drums that constantly rang through his head, due to Rassilon and the other Time Lords resurrecting him. The Mistress, however, is a bit more intimate than her previous versions of the Master. She's more mysterious and deceiving towards others, and seems to have a bit more of an obsessive side about the Doctor, dreaming that he's her boyfriend and whatever other sick fantasy that she could possibly come up with.
History:
The Master appeared in San Francisco in 1996, where he decided that he'd possess someone in order to get back at the Doctor. However, he had been locked up in a chest, and the only way out was to ooze out of the keyhole. As he adventured through San Francisco, he went to the hospital where the Doctor had been taken and struck up an alliance with a kid that had brought in the Doctor's body, Chang Lee. The Master offered Chang riches in exchange for opening up the Eye of Harmony, which was inside the Doctor's TARDIS. He kept on the idea that he was in fact good, and that the Doctor was a thief. He accused the Doctor of stealing his remaining re-generations, and he was going to get them back.
When the Master was later confronted by a newly re-generated Doctor, he had Grace Holloway hypnotized and soon had Chang hypnotized as well. After the Master and the Doctor fight, it's believed that the Master is no more, since he fell into the Eye of Harmony. But it all was to happen again, since the Time Lords resurrected the Master, and placed his memories in a fob watch. The Master had taken on the persona of Professor Yana, and when the watch was opened, the memories of the Master flowed back into him. Yana ended up fatally wounded and regenerated into a younger form.
The Master now called himself Harold Saxon, fabricating a past of his own and brainwashing everyone into believing there was such a person. The "Vote Saxon" campaign started in 2007, and started to age the Doctor aboard a ship called The Valiant. But because of Martha and the Doctor's new telekinesis, the Master died, refusing to regenerate.
The Master was resurrected by his avid followers, but because the resurrection went wrong, the Master had bleached blonde hair, and drained life out of people on Earth. The Master took on the form of every single person in the world, including America's President Barack Obama. The charade was over when Rassilon and the Time Lords reached across the void from time locked Gallifrey. The Master was put back in with Rassilon and the Time Lords, supposedly trapped forever.
The Master came back, assuming a female form. She poses herself as the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere, and greets people in what is called "Heaven." She claimed that the Doctor is indeed her boyfriend, and she hoped that he wasn't rude. As of current, she's raising a legion of Cybermen and is turning the dead undead.
Addition Medical Information: Like the Doctor, the Master also has two hearts.

She sat there, thinking about what she would do, or what she would say. Perhaps she'd do it the difficult way and throw out red herrings. She could lead the Time Lord to believe that she could have either be the Rani or maybe even Romana. Oh yes, she had known all of the Doctor's companions, since she was, after all, the former insane Time Lord the Master. It was the best way to get him distracted, she supposed. Oh how she loved a good story, and possibly this story would get the ending that she wished for.
Luckily for her, she still had a little bit of time left to think about how she was going to bring about this little plan of hers. She went out to the balcony outside her office and looked out beyond the amounts of buildings. If only people knew what heaven looked like, Missy was sure people would have died to come. After all, wasn't it called The Promised Land? Of course, she couldn't greet EVERYONE that came into heaven, but she could at least greet a select few. Perhaps if more people sacrificed themselves.
Missy thought to herself, inquiring about how she'd get the Doctor lured to her. 'Is it really going to be this hard to get his attention?' she thought. 'I knew he was a bit hard headed, but not so thick-skulled as he's acting now. Does he really think there's no Promised Land?'
Oh that silly Time Lord. She would prove it to him sooner or later that there were some mysteries that needed to be found out in their own accordance. But she would at least try to get his attention. The Nethersphere was just an interesting place to be, and Missy loved every moment of being there. Well, she was the boss of the Nethersphere, so of course she loved being there.
