As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

Meet the fifth incarnation of everyone's favorite Time Lord. He is one of the most human of all of his incarnations, past and future. This Doctor would gladly share his hopes and fears with his companions and, unlike most of his other selves, treats almost everyone as his equal. All of his incarnations prefer peace to violence but that applies even more to his fifth self. And Five never minds proving himself to others to gain their trust, while certainly his other selves would think having to do that would be a waste of time. Like all of his other selves, Five is a genius but his being so human comes with a price. He is prone to panicking and becoming indecisive under immense pressure. Death also affects him more deeply than it does some of his other selves. Still, though, Five always manages to find a way to solve crises he and his companions get into. This Doctor is very inquisitive and curious, which often lands him in hot water he may otherwise have been able to avoid.
Friends: Being really not that much different from a human, there is no reason why Five won't get along with a lot of people (and other creatures) on the site. I'm willing for him to befriend anyone/be befriended by anyone. Also, I would not be against to him picking up new, temporary companions because he is lacking all of his companions on the site right now.
Enemies: Well, I'm sure he will have no shortage of these. I'd love for him to meet old and new foes so please do throw any ideas my way!
Lovers: I headcanon Five as being demisexual (i.e., he needs to form a very strong emotional bond with someone before he falls in love with them). I'm not really looking for anything here but don't let that stop you from expressing an interest if you think we can work something out.
Ideas: I'm always up for multi Doctor adventures and for him to run into old companions or future companions, as well as old foes and for him to make some new ones. Nothing you can come up with will be too crazy for me so share any and all ideas you have!
[busts door down] Can't believe I gotta have Susan hang out with him. They were together for the Five Doctors so she'd be familiar with this face if it was later in her life, or maybe they could meet out of order and he meets her a little earlier than she's supposed to? I also play a regenerated version of her, but she's got a grudge against him so that's no fun. She'd find this version so funny - going from grumpy old kinda violent grandfather ("gonna stab this caveman" "gRANDPA" "gonna blow up this planet" "GRANDPA NO THAT KILLS PEOPLE") to this young lil pacifist. Amazing.
iblîs + five
iblis is basically the devil - but not really 'evil', just amoral with zero qualms about destroying humanity if that's the way it's gotta be. it's also kinda preparing war against the time lords bc it wants to understand time travel and who better to teach than people who waltz around literally calling themselves lords/ladies of time. iblis is also the root cause of a lot of human tragedies - wars, famines, etc. the doctor would be able to find it rather easily just going to places/times where anger/betrayal/negative emotions in general run rampant as that's what iblis feeds off.
fitz + five
fitz kreiner, intergalactic man of mystery and intrigue, doesn't meet the doctor until his eighth incarnation and chills out with him until getting left behind for the time war. i think out of all the other doctors, the only one that fitz would really work well with is the fifth. the eighth is also prone to panicking and anxiety, and fitz kreiner is most definitely the doctor's emotional support dog, so he'd feel right at home with this puppy version of the doctor. dunno how they'd meet - the eighth is kind of known for accidentally dropping fitz off in random places and leaving without him, so it could be that he's hanging around somewhere and the fifth comes along and fitz is just 'OH GOOD YOU FOUND ME wait what who how why'
rio + five
so whenever there is trouble, there is rio. he doesn't mean to cause it, it's just that he... causes it. he has high ideals and low impulse controls, and that sometimes ends disastrously for him when he tries to right wrongs that aren't easily righted. he'd be one of the good guys if he'd stop using violence and destruction to get his way, probably. it's possible that the doctor and rio are trying to get the same thing done - rio just needs a little direction and he's a force of nature. and hey, the good thing about being an impulsive little monster is that when five gets indecisive, rio could just 'WE'RE DOIN THIS GOOD LUCK TO US'... you know, for better or for worse.
Five & Susan: I'm cool with either/or. It might be more fun for her to meet him earlier than she was supposed to but I leave that decision up to you! Either way, I'm excited for these two to meet again (at least in the Doctor's case). Five & Iblîs: Iblîs sounds like a very interesting character. I could see Five trying talk him out of...Well, doing anything it likes to do, especially the whole going to war with the Time Lords because nothing good could come of that for anybody involved. Five & Fitz: Five is definitely a puppy. lol...I do love the idea of Fitz being accidentally left behind, only to find Five's TARDIS somewhere. He could either walk right in or knock on the door, leaving the Doctor just as confused because people aren't supposed to do that. Five & Rio: I'm all for them trying to solve the same problem using their different methods. Five would try to rein him in and likely fail miserably at doing so...and just feel terribly when/if Rio's more violent methods solve matters. Five & Nyssa: Look at those two nerds. <3 Not gonna lie, these two are in my top five...maybe even three...Doctor/Companion relationships because I love it when we get companions that actually understand pretty much everything the Doctor says and does. I look forward to all of the threads between them that we will do!
Perfect! It could happen before they 'settle down' for her school since there's a ton of stuff that they got up to before Ian and Barbara were kidnapped joined the team. Then she'd get the full brunt of the personality changes as Barbara hadn't knocked sense into the Doctor at that point. Wild. Susan is so here for her grandfather having proper socialization skills and manners. So proud of him.
iblîs + five
Iblîs is stubborn and thinks it's mostly doing the right thing, but it's not unreasonable. It's totally possible for the Doctor to talk it out of the warpath. The reason it's determined to have the same control over time as the Time Lords is because it wants to avoid the disaster with King Solomon enslaving all of its species and killing most of them. It's got a bit of inner conflict as it knows that if it does stop that from happening, there are a lot of bad things that'll happen that... might outweigh the good things? So yeah, Five's totally welcome to try to reason with Iblîs. It just might work, lmao.
fitz + five
Haah, yes. Especially since his Doctor gave him a key to the TARDIS... does the lock change, you think? Anyway he'd definitely just let himself in and get so scandalized at the differences between the two layouts. I'm all for them being equally confused about what the hell's going on.
rio + five
So my actual favorite thing to write is when two characters are on the same side but they have wildly different methodologies. It's a very specific genre niche, I guess. Rio would appreciate the Doctor's genius and moral compass - probably not enough to be reined, but as much as he'd bitterly complain about it, he really would appreciate the more humane viewpoint.

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. She's basically his Romana and a little bit his Clara, or perhaps Clara is Twelve's Nyssa, given Nyssa's exit in Entropy Plague predates Clara's. I absolutely adore them nerding out over science, or the way she sort of fusses after him? 'Doctor, say you're pleased to see her.' 'But there are still more repairs to do!' They both are the sort to face trouble in a calm, kind, rational way. I'm also the BIGGEST fan of the silent communication they manage? I swear, they look at each other and have whole conversations.
I'd be super down for anything with them as soon as I'm approved. Like, anything. Just say the word. <3<3
