And that earns quite the look from The Doctor, as he raises an eyebrow. "Quite the coincidence. That was the name my granddaughter chose for herself when we first arrived on Earth, all of those years ago now. Perhaps you would like a quick ride back to her?" He muses, turning back towards the console, already priming the TARDIS for takeoff.
"I would very much like to meet the girl who's managed to win your heart."

"Quite the coincidence. That was the name my granddaughter chose for herself when we first arrived on Earth,” heh, Ace thought to herself ‘bout that. Oh, Susan was going to kill her now for sure. Working faster on her vortex manipulator Ace quickly replaced parts in the manipulator from the toolbox before snapping it shut before sliding it to the side, so it’s under the console.
Standing up “You sure you wanna do that…I mean…you must be busy an all.” sighing she knew it was probably no point in trying to get around it, Ace was probably going to be sleeping on a couch for the next couple of weeks...if not longer.
Reaching over Ace put in the coordinated for The TARDIS
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
"I can always make time for you, Ace." He replies, beginning the process of launching the ship into the Time Vortex. "Unless you would prefer that I didn't meet her?" He leans on the surface of the console once again, resting his chin in his hands. "Hm? But why wouldn't you want that, I wonder. Especially if I gave, give, whatever tense you prefer, a speech at your wedding?"
He's back to piloting the ship, as he looks to Ace once again. "Which incarnation of mine was it, by the way? Was it this daft old face? A previous one? No, suppose I'd probably remember it, if it was. A future one, perhaps?" He pauses. "It isn't the one with the long flowing locks, was it?"

"Unless you would prefer that I didn't meet her?" Ace leaned against the console for a second thinking it over "No, I do it's just." oh how to put it, oh when you find out my wife's your granddaughter could you please try to get alone, without using those words exactly.
Watching as The Doctor piloted The TARDIS and Ace started to notice where she had picked up some of her own piloting technics. When The Doctor asked her which incarnation it was that had given the speech Ace had to think about it for a second. "umm, a future one. Think punk rocker mixed with angry owl and you've pretty much nailed it." reaching up Ace scratched the side of her head a little and said to herself "I legitimately thought Susan was gonna kill you there for a second."
"If it makes you feel any better I did try to get in contact with you in particular but, when your only option is to put a note in a bottle and chuck it out into space you'll take what you can get." Ace teased.

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
Ace's description of his future self leaves a somewhat unsure, bitter taste in his mouth, as he looks at Ace once again, only glance this time, as he moves around the console, making sure that everything is working perfectly, and that the TARDIS is functioning properly as it flies through the Time Vortex, growing ever closer towards it's destination. "Is that truly what I become in my old age? Do I truly become so senile?"
Finally, he looks up at her again. "Kill me? Sounds like she's changed since the last time we last met. And it does, so some extent, at least. Perhaps I could pop back, or forwards in time, once we've finished, and attend the ceremony from afar."

"Kill me? Sounds like she's changed since the last time we last met." Ace tilted her head a little "Professor, how common do you think the last name Foreman is on earth? Not just one earth but from the 60s to be frank? she started to ask, best prepare him for when he figures out who her wife actually is.
Her face softening some in a smile when The Doctor said he could pop forwards to attended the ceremony, even if he was crossing his own time stream and everything Ace would really like it "Thanks, I'd really like that."
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
"Ace, when it comes to my life, I've found that coincidences really tend to be just that." He looks over the console, before glancing around the room, a warm, vacant smile overtakes his features, as he sees visions of Susan, and closes his eyes for a moment. "I suspect that I know who it is, Ace. ...How much ill will does she bare towards me? For leaving her there?" Slowly, he begins to land the machine. "Perrrhaps I should just let you out here." He takes a few steps away, a forlorn look creeping onto his features, as he swallows slightly.

"I suspect that I know who it is, Ace. ...How much ill will does she bare towards me? For leaving her there?" Ace looked down for a second "I think she hides some of it from me, there are some nights she'll have night terrors but she won't talk to me about them and I think it has to do with when you left her on earth." she was very careful not to use the word abandoned.
""Perrrhaps I should just let you out here." When The Doctor started to take a few steps away Ace placed her hand on his upper arm gently "Please." she said softly "Either way I'm gonna be sleeping on the couch for the next couple of...centuries she's sure to of heard the TARDIS..."

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
Susan, as it happens, most certainly had heard the TARDIS. She’d been perched on top of their TARDIS - currently in the form of trawler - when the screeching had begun. It had once been the most welcome noise in the world, and even now Susan felt a pang of nostalgia and homesick buried far underneath the loathing and anger. Susan crossed her arms, scowling as the blue box began to take its shape on the beach. Could she not even sunbathe in peace without the Doctor bursting in on her vacation?
She stood up, jumping from the top of her TARDIS to the sand. She was absolutely not having him meddle any further. Especially not when his arrival was an omen - she didn’t need the Cybermen to take over her vacation, she didn’t want an alien invasion to distract her from the nice weather. It was going to be a peaceful vacation, if she had to hijack his TARDIS and sent him the hell away to accomplish it. She knocked rather furiously on the doors.
Swallowing heavily, then exhaling slighty when the knocking begins, The Doctor wastes no time in marching towards the door, past Ace. He selects his umbrella from the coat rack, and looks to Ace. Pursing his lips, he speaks, half addressing Ace, and half muttering to himself. "I think that simply dropping you off is out of the question now."
With a somewhat shaky hand, The Doctor begins to open the door, only to stop, and look to Ace. "I don't suppose you'd prefer to do the honors, hm?" He lets out a slightly nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his head.

"I don't suppose you'd prefer to do the honors, hm?" Ace smiled a little understanding “Yeah, sure thing professor.” she lightly patted his upper arm “I gotcha.” reaching forward Ace turned the handle and headed out of the TARDIS.
Holding up her hands when she came out she tried to make sure that she would be between Susan and The Doctor “Susan, babe, listen to me for a second. Just, talk to him ok.”
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
Susan, who had kept her fist clenched to deliver the punch of a lifetime she’d been waiting to deliver to the Doctor, crossed her arms tightly as Ace came out of the TARDIS. Susan tapped her fingers against her arms, barely stopping her foot from tapping impatiently against the sand. She was muttering, mostly incoherently, under her breath about ‘traitor’ and ‘vacation-ruiner’ and ‘trusted you’ and ‘not sleeping in my bed that’s for damn sure’.
Her mouth snapped shut as Ace actually spoke. “Babe? she demanded, incredulously. “Did you seriously just babe me? You don’t get to do that — you don’t get to bring the man who killed my son home and expect me to be fine with this, McShane. He killed me,” she said, her voice cracking as she lowered her tone. “Why did you bring him here instead of talking to me first?”
"Because we ran into each quite on accident." He speaks, slowly stepping out of the TARDIS, eyes moving from one woman to the other and back again. "I can assure you that it wasn't her idea. She simply needed a bit of a ride, and I felt it only appropriate to offer her one." His gaze settles on his granddaughter, as he tips his hat towards her, a soft, sad smile on his lips. "Hello Susan."

Ace nodded moving over to Susan slowly gently placing her hand on the other woman's hip as she circled around behind her, fully aware this could very well her actions could cost her her hand.
“Sadly, as usual, my vortex manipulator being the piece of crap that it is, broke on me, leaving me stranded. I ran into The Doctor and liked he said, and he gave me a lift.”
Ace dropped her voice so only Susan could hear, “I’m sorry, I thought he could help. I know hate him but, just talk to him, maybe it could help, he is your grandfather after all?” She wasn’t trying to make excuses for him, she knew that he could never repair that had been done, but they could at least talk.
(here just let me poke that bear >:3)
