susan + ruby

susan's the doctor's granddaughter and she hangs out with him a lot. :v she also gets very excited about weird things, and would probably think ruby's little readings are adorable?? susan gets spooked easily, but she also has a super macabre sense of humor so i really just CAN'T BELIEVE ruby has to introduce her to horror video games and if ruby has any latent empathetic or telepathic skills then susan can help her develop those. at least make those readings easier lmao

iblîs + ruby

if she hangs with the doctor, at least expect ibby to take a mild interest in her that most likely would manifest as "getting literally kidnapped to another dimension". her "magic is science, science is magic!" philosophy would be great for an interaction with the djinn - they're very "magic"y. iblis is prone to homicide when annoyed, and it's annoyed by most humans, but i think ruby would survive the encounter so long as she's respectful.

fitz + ruby

fitz mostly follows the eighth doctor around, so if she ever meets him then there's a fairly strong possibility that fitz is trailing after him. he's a human from the sixties and obnoxiously flirts with everyone. after eight drops him off on 21st century earth during the time war, he spends his time either performing at various bars (he's a musician) or in his little shop (he's a florist and has the Best begonias) or otherwise getting into Shenanigans. so we could have something set while he's with the doctor or something set afterwards?

Ahh yes absolutely to all of these things! I feel like Ruby would have a lot of fun with Susan because when other people get excited about what she does she gets super excited about it and she actually speaks at a normal human volume if not a little louder than she should tbh. Also??? I have been working on some potential maybe concepts concerning her potentially being telepathic or empathic to some extent maybe or even other things concerning her craft because she works entirely with abstract concepts that can't necessarily be proven or disproven and ahh I could go on about this forever so I'm gonna stop rambling about it for now xD

She would be just plain interested in learning as much as she can from and about Iblis because that's what she does! Anything strange and magical interests her greatly and she would absolutely adore even just having a conversation.

Aaaand as for Fitz I'm not actually sure how she would react to him but I definitely definitely want to see how they interact!!!

Not gonna lie, I think this would be a precious thread. A wish granting Djinn, and one of the only Marid in existence. What could go wrong?

Twitch is a bit moody lately because his last mistress died. He blames himself. But otherwise, he's nothing but trouble and forever curious. He'd be fascinated with the things Ruby does and would constantly try to figure it out like it was some parlor trick.

But that aside, Twitch could use a level headed friend, plus he'd be willing to take her on a few adventures. Peril should be considered a part of the package and there are no exchanges, substitutions, or refunds. Muahahahahaha

Ruby and Twitch seem like they would be an interesting combination and I am absolutely in for whatever dangerous adventures that entails. She would definitely be amused if he sees what she does as tricks and might even play it up a little more if it catches his interest and use it as a teaching tool.
