I look considerably younger than my physical age. I'm actually nearly 750 years old. Sometimes, 760. It's always so hard to tell with time / Male / Time Traveller and Time Lord / Ah, love and romantic relationships, They are always so complicated, aren't they?
This incarnation of the Doctor is by far the most eccentric and off-beat from all his selves, and possibly, the most iconic/popular Doctor of the series -- probably only tied with the Tenth Doctor. He is played by the marvelous Tom Baker, with curly hair, blue eyes, and a long, multi-colored scarf that often times scrapes the floor.
friends, I can see him making a lot of friends and/or companions. He is rather personable and quite the jokester. But, he is also aloof, critical, and down-right harsh sometimes, which could possibly stave off acquaintances in the long-run. This spot is always open, especially to canon characters.
foes, The Master is obviously a threat, as he is to any/all of the Doctor's selves. I feel like Davros is worth a mention, since he is important and diabolical and the two first met in the Fourth Doctor's era. Obviously following that would be the Daleks and the Cyberman, and, of course, the ever-plentiful wealthy, evil scientists and gunman this curly-haired timelord keeps running into. Anyone else that is against humanity or trying to warp the progression of time in any way is also welcome this spot.
loves, Ahh, this is a tricky one. Classic Who is very good at giving chemistry to characters, and allowing the relationships/feelings to be ambiguous. While I don't particularly see the Fourth Doctor as entering in any kind of relationship, per se, I think he could and has develop(ed) feelings of love for certain characters. Particularly, and quite selfishly, I can only ship/pair him with Sarah Jane Smith or Romana II, and envision him actually finding these characters attractive and worthy of a love beyond friendship. Any other characters outside of these two would have to considered first, and then, if agreed to, explored further in the game.
relationships:
Sarah Jane Smith -- Companion, Best Friend, Love Interest
Harry Sullivan -- Companion, Friend, Ham-fisted Idiot
Leela -- Companion, Teacher-Student Bond
Romana I -- Companion, Sisterly Kinship
Romana II -- Companion, Close Friend, Love Interest
AYYY GRAMPS WHAT'S GOOD! I can't believe it took me this long to spam your shipper, I'm the WORST. Anyway, so I play two different incarnations of Susan, but ignore the second one, she's awful, and let's focus on the the tiny time tot. She adores! The Fourth version! I mean honestly she loves all of them, but the Fourth is so much more personable and optimistic than the First and she would be so proud of that personal development. You go, Doc, you go with your self-growth and character development! There's always the possibility of bumping into him while she's travelling with the First OR after she's much older and a little more jaded and fried the Master and stole his TARDIS procured totally legally a TARDIS all her own.
FUTURE (kind of past) COMPANION WHATS UP! Can you tell I'm excited for these? I'll try to tone it down. SO, Fitz Kreiner is basically the emotional support dog for the Eighth Doctor in the books - he's a florist musician, mostly human (on a technicality, but really he's the TARDIS' creation, it's kind of a long story). He goes through the first half of the time war with the Eighth, but eventually he gets left behind so that he'll survive. He's always super excited to meet future versions of the Doctor, but he's not met a past one yet - which might be a good thing, considering that one of his clones (again, kind of a long story) kept trying to murder the Third Doctor and Sarah Jane, oops. In any case, Fitz would deffo recognize the Fourth because he kind of adopted that scarf for a while when trapped on an ice planet so what I'm really saying is that this human form of a golden retriever would absolutely follow the Doctor around.
Iblis is both against humanity and tries constantly to warp the progression of time. It's a fairly lawful evil creature - it looks out for the well-being of its 'family', very loyally, and will destroy absolutely anything that threatens the family... which humans do, fairly consistently. As for 'warping progression of time', Iblis is bound and determined to find a Time Lord willing and capable of helping it go back in time to avoid one of its species' greatest disasters that ended in slaughter and the death of millions. It's definitely not above kidnapping a Doctor or a companion, sooo just lemme know if you wanna fight with this tiny devil 8)
Sebastian is a pretty normal human teenager - loves his violin, has horrible social anxiety, and just wants everyone to be happy. Nina is the demon djinn that lives with him inside his body, and she is an unstable homicidal creature that sets fire everywhere she goes. Honestly, I think Nina would adore the Fourth - she loves scathing jokesters, and she'd find his sense of style both admirable and hilarious. I'm 100% sure that feeling of adoration would be one-sided, as Nina expresses her fondness much the same way a cat does -- 'here's a dead bird, I have hunted it just to show my love for you!!!' except probably less 'bird' and more 'human'.
