“It’s open.” Oracle said, letting her eyes momentary raise up from what she was working on as a slightly malnourished teenager came in "Goddess, I…" Oracle had returned to her work, but the second she heard what the young man said, she was in front of him "Stop." There was no malice in her voice, purely stating a commanding request while still being kind, "One rule if we are going to work together Gaven, I am not your God, you do not pray to me. I am not a God," She paused for a second and saw the confusion in his face, so she smiled a little, placing a hand on his shoulder for a second "I'm just here to help."
Gaven smiled a little before nodding his head in understanding. “Now, you have new reports?” Nodding he reached into his bag and pulled out a roll of parchment, handing it over "Yeah, here."
Oracles eyes lit up slightly “Exxxxcellent.” She started to take the papers from Gaven when she placed her hand on his, seeing his memories and thoughts through his eyes for a moment before taking the papers "Second rule, mi casa es tu casa. It means my home is your home, kitchen is through that door, please, eat."

It was an off trip for The Doctor, the companions didn't always have to be there after all. They still had lives back home to some degree. Yaz had her copper work, Ryan the warehouse, Graham...well he probably hung with the people down at the depot to keep company since Grace was gone. Yeah they had things to do. It wasn't like they had to go every time. After all, they sometimes were gone for a few months at a time on end. They needed to make sure their normal domestic lives stayed in check. After all she didn't need them going homeless or out a job. She'd have felt bad. So instead, The Doctor shoved them off and decided to take a trip about the universe by herself for a few. She'd be back in no time, after all she had the TARDIS and that could come back at any point in their timeline even if it seemed like forever in hers. Time lord stuff, it was complicated sometimes. Well in her case time lady stuff. it still was hard getting used to, all the femmie stuff. After being male so long, being a girl was just not something The Doctor was quite prepared for as she could have been. It wasn't like she remembered ever being a girl in her past at all.
Having popped a biscuit out of the dispenser, The Doctor blared music out of speakers that clearly couldn't be visibly seen. She had some earth modern rock playing in it. She was still testing the waters of what she was into this regeneration. Each one had its own tastes. Some had similar, but not all the exact same. She bobbed her head to the song as she fidgeted with the controls, trying to decide where to go. The next thing she knew though, as she had the biscuit hanging in her mouth, she saw a blip light up in her holo screen. She yanked the biscuit out of her mouth enthusiastically.
"Well isn' that somethin'." she said giving a bit of a smile and went around the console to deal with a few of the levels as she stuck the biscuit back in her mouth. After finishing she stepped back and looked at the screen. Her eyes twinkled with adventure.
"Looks like someone needs my help." she mused to herself as she held what was left of the biscuit then shoved the last bit in her face before going and getting the coorinates set. "Alright ol' girl, let's show em' what we got eh?"
She eventually flipped the lever for the activation of the jump. It went smoothly at first, but then her TARDIS started going wonky. Power started to fluctuate.
"Oh that's not good!" she tried to compensate for the power drain, but nothing was working. "Come on, come on! Stay with me! Just a little bit farther luv. We're almost there."
It was almost like a few dead silent moments happened and then all of a sudden the TARDIS landed with a thud. The Doctor was flung about as the TARDIS actually rolled. Surprisingly nothing was damaged though, the shell being the last thing to give out on the living machine. Everything else went dark though inside. The Doctor coughed and stood back up as she realized that some of the control room had been damaged.
"Welp that's a thing." she said waving dust and smoke away from her. "Oh look at you..."
She had a pained look on her face that her TARDIS was for all intents and purposes dead in the water right now. She'd definitely need to repair herself. Yet how, when not any power was going. Oh this was going to be bad. If she couldn't get out of this place, The Doctor was going to be screwed.
Since there wasn't anything she could do at this point from inside the TARDIS, she was going to have to test the outside by just going. So naturally she went to the door and tested it to see if it would open. It did, and luckily the TARDIS had landed upright for her as she noticed. The terrain was definitely not quite inside any city, but she was close it seemed. So that was what she was going to do, she was going to find out what caused her ship to malfunction. And what or who actually needed her help. It was time to make the long trek, by foot. Making sure she had everything she needed before she went, she stepped outside the TARDIS, examined the exterior and when she was satisfied it wasn't damaged, went on to make her way to civilization.
"Right..." she muttered to herself. Kind of wishing she'd brought the fam after all.
Oracle leaned against the wall of her little four-wall shack munching on what the worlds closest thing to a bologna sandwich, she’d learned the hard way not to ask questions when it came to where the meat on this planet came from, food was scarce people ate what they could most of the time she stockpiled her rations for this very purpose, she knew these people weren’t used to not eating, she was.
“You know what I wish you guys had Gaven.” Oracle finishing the thought out loud “There’s this thing on earth called Ramen, it’s this like little brick of noodles that you boil in hot water if you can find one you like, mix in some…” she didn’t get to finish her sentence when another person threw open her door and rushed inside.
“Reports…” the young lady bent double for a minute having run from where she was to Oracles “Catch your breath,” Oracle said, already on the move, grabbing her googles and her bag.
Rummaging around where she had been working earlier Oracle held up a small metal rod before it disappeared up her sleeve. She knew what the report was going to be about before the woman even said anything; they were always the same.
“A crashed ship or something out in the barrens. Their afraid it may be one of the creatures scouting.” Oracle slid her goggles over her eyes. “Then, let’s go give them a welcoming party they’ll never forget.”

The Doctor had tried to make an initial scan with her sonic, but alas the damn thing too was dead. What the hell was going on in this place? No TARDIS, no sonic. It was as if this planet was a dead zone. If that were a thing, which actually it was. There were planets out there that for some inexplicable reason just did not abide by the laws of physics, and powerlessness was one of those things sometimes. It was unfortunate to find ones self on one of those sorts of worlds. It was like falling into the Bermuda triangle and not being able to get out.
"Bullocks!" she said frustrated to herself and looked about the area again just with her sight and other senses. The place felt...all sorts of wrong. Like that taste of tangy charge mixed with battery acid. It reeked of it. It sort of made her scrounch her face in disgust. She could get through this though, all she had to do was find someone who knew the place and could give a diagnosis of what was happening. Then she could do her helpy thing, if there was even a chance in this dead zone, considering anything help wise would now just have to be of the mind related. She was no more leaving than anyone else here.
As hair stood up on her arms she began to rub them over her coat. It felt cold...no that wasn't right...charged! Like static almost in the air. It got her brain thinking, reeling. Some time in travel she swore she saw people, but then again who knew, they could have been just as much mirages. She shaded her view to get a better look.
"Hello?" she tried to call out just in case it was real people.
Oracle could have easily outrun the group she moved with towards the location but she didn’t this time, for some reason she hesitated and hung a little bit further back away from the group she could still see them just, something had her slightly distracted.
The squad had insisted on bringing along weapons. Oracle, was not too enthused with that idea but she could understand their mindset, it was their protection and outside the small cities or little hobo camps like theirs had been once upon a time, till Oracle had come, could be deadly if you weren't careful.
She had “hitched” a ride on a space cruiser that came into contact with this forsaken planet. Oracle froze in place; she’d caught a whiff of what had gotten everyone’s attention, and she knew that smell “Well, that’s some good news for once.” A wave of relief washed over her, they might beat this yet then. And then it dawned on her “Shit, shit, shit.” Her group had guns, her group didn’t know The Doctor, her group was at war.
She had had to reserve her energy on this planet due to the friction made by her movement had been weakened by whatever was being done to this planet but right now she had to risk it. Sliding the metal bar she had tucked up into her sleeve Oracle closed her eyes and took a few deep breathes before taking off like a shot, she was gonna put herself between The Doctor and her group; if any of them had a problem with it they’d settle it there.

The moment real people did come into view she noticed that they had in hand the one thing she in about every regeneration possible hated, guns. She was no fan of them. Sure she'd picked up a few here and there over the ages, but she'd always tried so hard to take the vow of the path less followed and just not. The scene that approached her made her frown.
"Guns, of course guns. This really shouldn't surprise me after all these years." she muttered to herself. She then spoke up, "Seriously!"
She gave a deep sigh as she stared out at them with a "really" sort of stare and carefully put her hands up, that was until someone came running at her fiercely. At first she wondered if she should back away slowly (or quickly), but when she got sight of the face coming at her, a light smile squared at the corner of her lips. Oracle! Another one of those things she shouldn't have been surprised by but was.
"I will say, I'm glad to see you." The Doctor stated to Oracle with some relief.
Oracle slowed up a little as she came near, till she was standing next to The Doctor “Likewise Doc.” She said with a small smile.
“OK, listen up.” She turned her attention back to the group she had been traveling with and they all quieted “This, is The Doctor.” Oracle gestured to The Doctor “And as far as anyone’s concerned her orders are to be treated as if they came for me. Any issues?” she glanced at the whole group, scanning for anyone that she thought might cause an issue.
One guy took a small step forward and she met his eyes. She did want to fire him up but if he pushed her she would. “You don’t want to do that bud.”

"So, hows it going?" The Doctor said, almost with a hint of a bit of a nervous tone in her voice. She wasn't quite certain what the group Oracle was talking to would do. Would they listen to her? The Doctor sure as hell hoped so. But at least Oracle herself was there to try and quell them. Otherwise, she might have been more at the the barrel end of a gun than she would have enjoyed to be. Not quite her idea of a good day that was for sure.
"Who's your friends?" she added to the inquiry. She strained the word friends a bit, not quite thinking they were really that friendly to be honest at the moment. She did, however, slowly put her own hands down and just stood there waiting to see what would happen next. She wanted, no needed to know what was going on there. Especially for the fact her own TARDIS got knocked out. So as far as she knew, The Doctor was now marooned there.
Turning her head to the side a little when she heard The Doctor ask how things were going “Oh you know has it is Doc, I like to kick every hornets nest I come across.” She returned her attention to the guy and slightly baring her teeth at him for a second.
The two of them nodded at each other. “Alright gang, scatter.” She watched for a second as her group dispersed and headed back the way they came.
Oracle finally let her shoulders relax when the two of them where finally alone. Turning to The Doctor with one of the most genuine smiles she had had in quiet some time “Welcome to Telios Prime.”

"This is Telios Prime?!" she said a bit astonished. "I don't remember Telios Prime being like this?"
Granted she couldn't remember the last time she came to Telios Prime, if ever. But whether she did or not she didn't remember it being anything like this. The world had intelligent life of course, but something seemed off about its progressions. It wasn't anything like it was supposed to be. Something had to be wrong.
"What's happened here? Why is this place like this?" she started with the barrage of questions. Pleasantries would have to come later since things seemed to be not in such good standing right then. She was also going to have to find a way to get her TARDIS back off the ground. "I caught a signal, came here, and all of a sudden my whole TARDIS went down. Crash landed, can ya believe that?!"
Tilting her head a little, Oracle listened and watched as The Doctor fired off question after question, she was happy to see her old friend, considering the circumstances, holding up a hand Oracle tried to slow The Doctors questioning for a moment “All answers in time Doctor I promise.”
Oracle started to comment how The Doctor hadn’t changed when her brain replayed the comment The Doctor said about catching a signal, “Wait, Doctor back up, signal? That’s not possible, no electric signal survives on Telios for very….”
Oracle stopped, a glimmer of hope flashed across her face, if The Doctor could pull up that signal again they might be able to reverse whatever had been done there “How much power do you think you’d need to pick up that signal again?”
