Meet Celeste. Official full name, Princess Celeste Chanel De La Cour IX of Pradeux. Ridiculously spoiled and used to perfect wealth and luxury, her father owned both a solar system and was CEO of one of the biggest multi-media companies in the Second Great and Bountiful Human Empire. She partied all day and never lifted a finger for herself. Then her ship malfunctioned and she was frozen in status for 1000 years. Now her disappearance is a fixed point in time, so the spoiled rotten princess has to try and make a new life for herself.
Some things to know about Celeste:
She's had so many genetic modifications that it's not only impossible for her to put on weight, but her muscle and bone mass has been so heavily genetically reduced she's too weak to open most doors. Not that somebody like Celeste has ever had to open her own doors, and she saw it as a sacrifice worth making to keep her skinny and beautiful. (She now weighs about 40lbs, despite her height at 5"2).
She smells incredibly strongly of perfume. In fact, let's be honest, she stinks of it. Her genetic implants produce it as a natural part of her body, but have done ever since she was little, so she kept getting modified to increase the scent as she got used to it. Now it can make your eyes water just from standing in the same room as her. And god forbid any alien that can track by smell is following her...
She loves to party and have a good time, and that means she's not ENTIRELY self centered and awful. She likes other people to have a good time too, so she tries to make people around her happy, but if they challenge her or cause a problem, she can be an impossible brat.
She's insanely impractical. Her outfits are always incredible frocks and towering heels, and she spends hours fussing over her hair and make-up. She's squeamish and hates getting dirty or doing any physical work.
Friends
She's a total, total spoiled brat, but she can make friends. She likes people who like her, and likes to surround herself with people who praise her. She also likes people who are fun and bubbly and help her have a good time. She's now isolated from her fortune and her family, so will also gravitate towards those who can help her out, as she knows she's entirely useless on her own.
Enemies
She's EASY to dislike. God is she easy to dislike. She's a snobbish, spoiled, vain brat. She's never had anybody tell her they dislike her before though thanks to her wealth and influence, and she's a bit naive and not used to having enemies, so she might not take it well. She's fast to hate people who are rude to her because of her inexperience.
Lovers
She's dated a range of famous socialites and royals over the years, but that's all in her past now. It's always a presentation thing for her; who will help her status and who will make her look good. She's never actually fallen in love. But if she did, that could be a very interesting story indeed...
