A couple questions..

Hello!!

I was considering joining your website but I had a few questions first.

First of all, about your plot? I couldn't find a thread describing the plot so if there is one, if you could link me over to it that would be great.(If I have to register to find it- that's fine.)

Could I have an elaboration of whats going on? Hitler won the Noble Peace prize? I guess that means that he won the war, Berlin is the capital of art in the world, complete with its very own museum dedicated to Hitler's artwork.(This was his plan)

So did he take over the whole world or did he leave parts of the world alone?(Like America, which was split in its decision of which side to join anyway)

Also- what else is different about the whoniverse? Did this change the time war? Any changes from the cannon plot that I should be aware of?

I'm thinking of creating a character but I would like to be more familiar with my surroundings. Surroundings are key to the creation of any character.


And another thing- I was wondering if I could create a character that already knows some people- For an easy example; Such and such character is the Doctor's cousin.
NOT that I want to create a cousin of the Doctor's-- but if any original character(I guess cannon would work too but you'd have to volunteer that and get staff permission first) would like to have a childhood friend or relation(or even an enemy) that would be great. I personally would not like to adopt a ready-made character- I like to choose my history/personality stuff.

The reason why I want to go about it this way is because too often I've put blood and tears into making a character profile(some admins are super picky like you wouldn't believe!) and then I get stuck in the you can't role play because you don't know anyone and you can't know anyone unless you role play. (Twice in my life I have gotten my rp partners to pull out real tears. THOSE are the best rps. But getting to that point takes time and commitment.)

1. Hi there! There isn't a site-wide plot. However, there are multiple little plots going on. There's an Alice in Wonderlandesque thread, and there is a rewriting of the 8th Doctor movie with the 7th Doctor. We haven't done much with why the time line is messed up yet. Yet.

2. Hitler didn't win the war because there wasn't one. Which, of course, does have its implications on some countries and the way the map looks, but for the sake of people who haven't studied WWII extensively, it's the same. It was just an example of how the time line has been altered.

3. The Whoniverse is slightly different in that the Doctors have a greater chance of meeting each other, and Torchwood characters that have previously died are now finding a way to live.

4. The Doctor's cousin would be a no-go, because you can't have direct relations to canon characters unless, of course, it's canon. However, if you ask permission then it can definitely change. But knowing them is a different story and is allowed if it doesn't alter the canon's history significantly. (Unless you ask.) You don't necessarily need an admin's permission, just the person who plays the canon. There are plenty of original characters who need relationships. You can give a shout-out in the CBox, or make an account and post in the plotting.

5. We aren't picky here! Trust us - we know picky people.

6. I sincerely hope you'll join the site! We always love new people, and the site is friendly and active. You can always always always give suggestions and ideas for the site.
