5, Pip, and Aixa

Plotting thread with 5th Doctor, Pippa, and Aixa so that we don't get confuzzled in the three-way pm sessions.

It's so organized.


I'm thinking that we probably should have this take place before the site-wide plot.
A) This way Pippa and Aixa could have a little bit of history therefore its a bigger deal that they're separated. Plus, the Doctor knowing people before being tossed into the kidnapped world would be interesting too.
B) Aaand I have no idea what Sage has in mind for the site wide plot and how it's going to effect Pippa. (Same goes for you guys, except maybe Sage. Depends how far out he's thought this.)

We could have an adventure in London, or we could start off in a completely different area. Maybe Pippa accidentally wishes to be someplace and they run into the Doctor. As for a monster or an overall conflict of the thread, I might need some input from #5 because I haven't seen any of the fifth Doctor's episodes.

I just remembered an plot I've never gotten to used...

A snobby species that think that they are the only superior species... everything else, humans, time lords, etc. are just animals. This is partly because their minds are completely telepathic proof. So the TARDIS would be unable to translate anything for them, no species could cheat and psychically learn the language. You'd have to old school it by learning it one word at a time. So because they believe all other races are animals, they have a lot of intergalactic zoos or collections. Maybe they catch the Doctor, Pippa, and Aixa to put them into their little zoo.

This may be too much like the site plot-- but it might be a nice foreshadowing plot.

If you guys don't like it for right now or at all that's fine- I can just tuck it back into my mental library.

And I'm totally up for that plot! We'd just need to figure out what kind of species to use. There are always the eternals who have used the ephemerals -all none eternal beings- as entertainment in the past. The only thing being that they can't die so that could complicate things... and when the Fifth Doctor got mixed up in all that it was the White and Black guardians that were ultimately the reason why they were in the ephemeral plane of existence and the reason why they were sent back to their own dimension... *feels like such a geek right now*... So ya they're pretty powerful beings and it would be tricky dealing with them.

I can't think of anyone else right now, but I'm sure there are others who could fit in with this plot, and there's always the possibility of an original species. Whatever you guys would think would work best! =)

As vast as my knowledge of Doctor Who may seem to my friends irl- I don't know enough of the different species of the whoniverse that would be applicable in this situation.


We could always substitute the inability to be translated with an early version of an existing race. Maybe we pull a planet of the apes trick and go back to the time when the Lizard people walked the surface of the earth. We know that they are like us in the dissecting for science department.

Or another race... any race *could* techically work if we approached them before they were familiar with aliens(or have refused to accept them as "people") and would regard the trio as nothing more than animals to be kept in a cage.

That is, if we wanted to go for a cannon race. I think I was originally leaning towards the original species so that we could erase the language barrier cheat the Doctor has and put him in a new situation. Plus- the idea that some aliens have a complete psychic block has a lot of potential for awesome Doctor Who lines. Maybe he knows their language anyway. I'll have to admit- the lizard planet of the apes is tempting me.

Hmm. I think that an original species would be the best in this situation. That way we could make things up as we go along based on our needs, you know? I would rather like to see all of them thrown in over their heads... although I suspect it wouldn't be too hard to bamboozle poor Pippa. If the race were advanced - which I'd imagine they were if they can catch a Time Lord and a Djinn - they might also be able to cancel out Aixa's energy so that he couldn't just 'wish' them out, you know?

If we all have a consensus then I think we're good to go. The plot is fairly basic and open ended ssoooooo I'm going to go ahead and start.
