As soon as Sevaros had been 'removed' from the TARDIS, she ran to The Nomad and threw her arms around him. She felt so used. She realized she could have been rid of Sevaros at any time, but The Nothing had been very clever in sapping the strength from Yvie to the point she thought she was dying without sevaros. Even the voices Yvie heard before were convinced that the girl would die without Sevaros.
She cried on his shoulder for a moment, wishing she could erase the horrible sight she had seen, watching that monster impale him and breaking his bones. It was a sight that she would most likely have nightmares about for the rest of her life..
"Daddy, I'm so sorry! I didnt know.. I.. I thought she had changed. That she was better.. That.. that we could..." she wanted to say 'live together peacefully, but the fact that she had been mislead for the last 3 years of her life that she could actually remember, all she wanted to do was scream how much she hated the nothing. A dark thought entered her mind. She wish she could have killed it. "I hate the nothing... Maybe they should go extinct."
She looked over Nomad's shoulder and noticed the fob watch, or rather that chain to it, under the hunk of paneling she had thrown. she must have knocked it out of his hand trying to get the Nothing off of him. "Do.. Do we still need your watch or will you be okay?"

The Nomad groaned under his breath as he wrapped his arms around his daughter, he then realized that the Nothing broke his shoulders and collar bone while assaulting him. He gently, with some struggle kissed her cheek. She cried on his shoulder for a moment, wishing she could erase the horrible sight she had seen, watching that monster impale him and breaking his bones. "It.. Is both of our fault. Not just yours." He whispered to her, running his finger through her hair, he had just enough regeneration energy to keep him going but he will need to open his fob watch, where ever that winded up, if he is to mend his torn body, "It's not your fault Yvie, never think that alright Magpie?" He took as deep of a breath as he could, "I sent her somewhere where she should never bother you again.." He told the child.

He nodded stiffly, "We are going to need it if I am going to repair my body enough to move.. the rest will have to be repaired in the Zero Room.." He told her, "Can you find Daddy's fob watch love?" He asked her. He coughed lightly, blood slowly trickled from the corners of his mouth, but he was not able to lift his arm up to wipe the blood away.

Yvie gently kissed his cheek and helped him ease back down, and scrambled to the fob watch under the debris. she pulled on the chain but it wouldn't budge, she ended up having to move large bits of debris to uncover his watch. her heart was pounding in her throat as she snatched up up and put it into Nomad's hands, she chewed on her lip nervously. She had no idea what was going to happen next but she was determined to help.
She remembered what they had talked about before this whole ordeal started and she gently clicked the fob watch open and stepped away. "please be okay, Daddy"

He watched as Yvie scrambled to get the fob watch as she helped him lay his head back down, she nervously and gently placed it in his hands. The Time Lord looked to the opened watched, and pulled the now open watch to his chest, "Everything will be alright sweet heart." He said gently.
The regeneration energy moved from the watch to his chest and in, there was a light glow and the chest injury healed. Nomad groaned loudly as broken bones moved back into place, and gashes sealed up. He sat up as the injuries to his back healed but then the glow faded. Looking to his hands and other injury sites, "Alright.. looks like I will have to get to the Zero Room.." He groaned as he struggled to his feet, looking to the computer screen he grinned when he saw that his appearance did not change one bit, "At least I did not change." He placed his hands on the central control console and looked to Yvie, "You want to wait here or come with me to the Zero Room?" He asked her.

Yvie looked at him, puzzled. This had been a very hectic two days since meeting The Nomad. She had nearly killed him twice, now. She took his hand into her own and squeezed gently "You're not leaving my sight until I know you're okay." There was a shord paused before she looked up at him, confused... "What's a Zero Room?"

The Nomad watched her take his hand into her own small hands, he smiled gently, "Alright. The Zero Room is like a hospital room except there is.. nothing painful." He replied. The Time Lord gestured to the hallway that was straight ahead, "Just right down that hallway." The Nomad told her, gently holding her hand and started heading in the direction.
About halfway there he felt a little light headed and stopped, leaning against the wall.

Yvie's heart seemed to sink as she watched him slump against the wall and she clutched his hand even tighter "Come on, daddy. Dont stop.. we're almost there.." She paused, seeming to ponder her next statement.. She knew she could move items if she thought hard enough.. She'd never moved a person. Held them in place, sure, but to move something that wasn't still, that might squirm as it flaoted.. Yvie wondered if she could do it. "I... I could try to carry you. Just until we get there?"

"Come on, daddy. Dont stop.. we're almost there.." She paused.
The Nomad looked to Yvie, breathing heavily, "I know sweet heart, I just need to rest for a moment.." He panted in response.
"I... I could try to carry you. Just until we get there?"
He looked at his daughter, "It's alright Yvie.. it will not be necessary." He said and smiled at her, "Let's get to the room.." He said, and started walking again, "Come on sweet heart." He could see the door ahead, as he walked closer, keeping his hand against the wall to keep him steady.
Once in the room he walked over to the machine and typed in the commands, removing his torn jacket and shirt laid on the bed, he listened as the machine started up. Taking deep breaths.

Yvie took several steps back and watches curiously, also slightly afraid. Even though the outermost wounds had been healed, he was still bloody and heavily bruised. He looked horrible. She felt a stab of guilt in her gut as she looked at her dad. It didn't matter what he said. She knew this was her fault. It was her weakness, her loneliness that allowed the Nothing to take hold of her, her gullibility that allowed it to control her.
If Yvie had been a stronger child, this never would have happened. But then Yvie reminded herself, that if not for Sevaros, she would still be in an asylum screaming and howling. If not for Sevaros, she never would have met The Nomad. But that still didnt seem to help as Yvie fell to her knees, watching her daddy breathe heavily, covered in blood. Tears filler her eyes as she watched, muttering quietly, "I'm so sorry, Daddy"

The Nomad looked over to her, he found it hard to even turn his head to look at Yvie, "It's not your fault at all Yvie. This was the Nothing's doing.. not yours." He told her, "Don't you dare think it was your fault." He added in.
He looked as the machine moved closer and an extension hovered over him. It started its job, the Time Lord yelled out in agony, then quietened down as the pain meds finally kicked in.
When what had to be done was done The Nomad laid there for a moment before sitting up, "Oh man that hurt." He groaned as he sat up. He still felt some pain in parts of his body, mostly in his back, shoulders and chest. But that will be normal for a couple weeks.
The Time Lord swung his legs over the side. Looking at his torn clothing he side, "Well it looks like I will have to get a new shirt on.." He said as The Nomad got off the bed, walking over to the clothing he tossed them into the incinerator and looked to Yvie.

Yvie looked at him for a moment, as if trying to analyze if he was really ok or not. But after a moment, she really didnt care and ran up and threw her arms around him, burying her face against his chest. She muttered against his skin in a weepy tone. "Daddy, you look horrible. Are you sure you're feeling better?"
No amount of reassuring her would erase her deep feeling of guilt. She felt that it was entirely her fault and there wasn't much he could do to sway her of that. At least not right now. She looked up at him, teary eyed but with a soft smile. Yvie hadn't even noticed it but at some point during the fiasco, she had gotten a gash on her cheek. it wasn't deep but it was quite bloody and would probably leave a scar.
She shuddered a soft sigh and closed her eyes, just holding him. She was a nervous wreck. Less that 24 hours ago, she'd been adopted by a wonderful man who only wanted to show her happiness after heaven only knows how long of suffering at the hands of The Nothing..... Only to turn around and nearly die trying to help her once again. She couldn't help but feel that she was back luck for him.
"It's a good thing you have so many extra lives.. You might need them around me." She meant it half as a playful jest but also half as a warning as she still felt this whole situation was her doing.

Nomad watched as she ran over and threw her arms around him, naturally he threw his arms around her, "I am feeling much better Yvie.. just no rough housing for a couple weeks alright?" He told her. He hugged the child gently.
"It's a good thing you have so many extra lives.. You might need them around me."
The Nomad pulled away and looked at her, he was not sure of the full extent of the damage nor what it has done as far as the ability to regenerate, "It will never happen again Yvie. I promise." He told Yvie.

Yvie smiled meekly and brushed a long strand of hair out of her face "I hope not.. I don't think I could handle watching something like that again." As she looked up at him, her heart melted. He had done all this to try and save her. Nearly died.. to save her. She smiled a bit more bravely and closed her eyes.. She planned to return the favor one day.
As she opened her eyes again, she looked at him and shook her head. "You should probably rest. You look like you need it." She was probably about to head off to do the same. They had only been awake for a few hours, and bed was already sounding like a good plan.

The Nomad thought that the sound of bed was actually nice for once, "Yeah.. probably should get some rest.." He said, then yawned, the Time Lord shook his head with surprise that he actually yawned, "Yeah better get to bed." He said as the Nomad felt a wave of exhaustion suddenly hit him.
Grinning he picked Yvie up, "I will carry ya." he said as the Time Lord turned the machine off and headed out of the room, gently carrying Yvie. He stopped to looked around the control room, the Nomad shrugged and continued walking, he will clean the mess up after he gets some rest.
Stopping outside the two bedrooms after what felt like a long walk, gently set his daughter down and sighed, wrubbing his eyes, "You want to sleep in my room or in yours?"

Yvie looked up at him as though he had just asked her to most idiotic question she had ever heard. She clutched his hand tightly in both hands, she was amazingly strong for a ten year old. "I told you.. You're not leaving my sight. Not until I know you're back to 100%!"
Obviously there were times she would HAVE to give him his space. But she didnt care about that right now. All she cared about was playing the good nurse for her dad.
