The Mentor walked around the bustling streets of London, people walking here and there, some were rushing while others took their time. The Time Lord took his time walking through the streets as he was in no rush to get anywhere or to anything. Coming to a stop at a corner he peered over his shoulder to look behind him as the Mentor waited for the right moment to cross the street. Hearing a beeping sound he proceeded to walk across, dangerously close to the cars, inside them people were either waiting impatiently or were busy with other things. The Time Lord reached the other side just as the color on of the signal box changed to orange and was counting down, 3,2,1 and the cars were off again.
Letting out a quiet sigh, the Time Lord stuffed his hands into his pockets as he started walking again, his senses were going wild, he was able to feel the Earth's movements, hear everything around him to the exact detail being able to tell the difference of who was talking. Not to talk about the smells, the Mentor was easily able to tell what was human and what was not, who should be there and who should not be.
Coming to a stop outside a coffee shop, the Time Lord thought that coffee actually sounded nice and proceeded to the door when a group walked up, in a rush to get out of the cold. Instead of reacting in a impolite, mean, disgusting way, he simply held the door open for the group, "After you." He said with a small nod with a smirk on his face.
Maria was sitting at one of the corner tables in the coffee shop. She had her face in her hands, as if she was tired.
Hearing the door open, she instantly looked towards it. Even if she didn't see who she hoped was going to walk in, she could always hope.. Right?
She sighed, before taking a sip of her coffee. Maria had a headache, and supposedly caffeine was suppose to make it better. Perhaps Leo had better luck in finding their son, then she was having.
The Mentor walked into the coffee shop, when a scent caught his attention, another Time Lord? He looked around and spotted a woman at a corner table. She looked as though she was tired and upset about something. Maybe she was waiting for someone? He looked from the woman to the counter then decided to investigate this Time Lady. He put his hands back into his pockets and slowly made his way over, looking to the woman, she looked as though she was ready to burst into tears if he was not careful with his words.
Stopping at the table the Time Lady was sitting at he spoke up, "You look like you need some company.. may I join you?" He asked, resting his hand on the chair next to him.

Maria looked up at the Timelord, before using her fingers to wipe under her eyes. "Um, yeah sure."
She couldn't help the involuntary sniff that she made as she breathed through her nose. "Maria, by the way. You are?"
Might well figure out who she was talking to, right? Especially since he wanted to keep her company.
Maria looked up at the Timelord, before using her fingers to wipe under her eyes. "Um, yeah sure."
She couldn't help the involuntary sniff that she made as she breathed through her nose. "Maria, by the way. You are?"
The Time Lord sat down, "Thank you." He folded his hands together on the table, "The Mentor, you can call me Colin." He said with a warm smile, "You are a Time Lady correct?" He did not want to jump right into figuring out why she was upset, he will instead let her tell him.
Feeling rather hot in his jacket, The Mentor stood up and slipped his coat off and set it on the back of his chair and sat down. Looking back to Maria. She was a pretty Time Lady, but Colin was not interested in a relationship.

"How did ya guess?" Maria joked, sniffing again. "That was terrible, sorry... Yeah, I am. The one and only Phantom."
She paused as she thought over the last thing she just said. "Please, just pick either Talia, or Maria..." Then she took another sip of her coffee, it wasn't even hot anymore.
"Besides the obvious, what brought you over here?" Maria asked.

"How did ya guess?" Maria joked, sniffing again. "That was terrible, sorry... Yeah, I am. The one and only Phantom."
"Well Phantom it was your scent.." He started to say.
She paused as she thought over the last thing she just said. "Please, just pick either Talia, or Maria..." Then she took another sip of her coffee, it wasn't even hot anymore.
"Besides the obvious, what brought you over here?" Maria asked.
The Mentor smiled, "Maria.. I was going to say that you have not just your scent but the scent of someone that I know.. I was wondering if he was still around.. you know.. alive?" He shook his head, "Oh well of course he is still alive other wise you would not have a fairly fresh scent of him." He said, working to calm down, "He went by the name, The Nomad or had others call him by Leo." He told her.
The Nomad walked out of the mall, breathing heavily after checking every inch of the building in search of Mark, "I was too hard on the boy..." He whispered, then swallowed hard. But he was not going to stop for a break just yet. Walking to another nearby shopping center, entered the series of shops, looking at all the people and carefully sniffing the air for any scent of another Time Lord. With it he was able to keep tabs on Maria as he searched about five blocks away from her, there was another scent with her, another Time Lord.. but it was not Marks.. who was it?
He was not sure if he should stop searching for the boy or go to check on Maria to see if she was ok and to see who was with his wife. He decided to finish searching through this extremely large building first then to go and find Maria. He hoped that she was having better luck than what he was having in their search.
He stepped into a shop and saw a boy that looked like Mark, but when the boy turned around, his hopes trashed when he saw it was not Mark. Leo sighed quietly and looked down in disappointment, taking a deep breath he walked around the shop some more before walking to a door in the back that was for employees and went through to the other side.
Then to another shop The Nomad continued to look around.
"How do you know Leo?" She asked, semi-suspiciously. Not sure what to think of the Mentor, and she was almost considering calling Leo. Just to ask if he knew this Timelord. "Were the two of you friends? Classmates?"
Maria was trying to figure him out, as she pulled her emotions together.
"How do you know Leo?" She asked, semi-suspiciously. Not sure what to think of the Mentor, and she was almost considering calling Leo. Just to ask if he knew this Timelord. "Were the two of you friends? Classmates?"
Mentor leaned forward in his seat, keeping his hands close to him, "Actually Maria.. Leo is my younger brother." He told her, "We lost contact shortly before the Time War when he ran away.. I have been trying to find him since.." He told Maria, "I would love it if I could see him?" He asked her quietly, "I want to see him."
The Time Lord looked down at his hands, "I want to know that he is alright.:
"Oh..." Maria said, not sure what to think. Or even what to say. "I know Leo... He's never mentioned a brother.. I'm sorry."
After a few moments of silence she spoke up. "I could give him a call... If you'd like." Maria could help but feel a little awkward.
"So I guess you're my brother in law then." Maria said with a rather awkward laugh. Before taking out her phone and dialing Leo.
"Brother in law? You and Leo are married?" Mentor asked, "Yeah it will be great if you could phone him." He looked to the counter, "I will be right back.. going to get a coffee." he said and got out of his seat. Quickly the Time Lord walked up to the counter and told the woman what he would like to have to drink.
The woman nodded and went to get his drink, Mentor looked to Maria. She seems to be happy hearing Nomad's voice but like hope in her died, what was going on?
Leo finished looking in another shopping complex, walking out of the building he looked around as people walked past him. Not finding their son was starting to eat away at The Nomad, and more than likely from Maria as well, just what was he going to tell The Shadow about this?
The Time Lord spotted a bench near by, with a sigh he walked over and sat down, putting his hand to his forehead, "I was too hard on the boy..." He said. All he wanted was to not lose Mark in the same way that he lost Yvie when she ran off, "Was I too hard?" He said as the Time Lord lifted his head and looked around. He could smell the boy but it was so faint he could not tell what Mark's location was.
He heard his cellphone ringing and picked it up, seeing it was Maria he answered it, "Hello love.." He said quietly, out of exhaustion and depression.
"You couldn't find him either?" She asked, already feeling like she was going to cry again. "I'm starting to freak out... What if something bad happened?"
Maria took a deep breath, suddenly remembering why she called. "Why didn't you tell me you have a brother?" She asked, more out of curiosity. "This man says his name is the Mentor... Yes, he's right here. I'm looking at him."
She listened to Leo's reply before answering. "We're at the coffee shop... Maybe he could help."
"You couldn't find him either?" She asked, already feeling like she was going to cry again. "I'm starting to freak out... What if something bad happened?"
"Maria he is a smart boy." Leo told her, "He will be fine.. but.. surely he will be grounded once we find him." He added, "We will find him."
Maria took a deep breath, suddenly remembering why she called. "Why didn't you tell me you have a brother?" She asked, more out of curiosity. "This man says his name is the Mentor... Yes, he's right here. I'm looking at him."
Leo's eyes widened and straightened himself, "What? None of my family from home are alive Maria.. The Mentor? He is my older brother.. is he there right now? Really? Well I will come and meet you." He said as Leo came to a stand, "Where are you at?"
She listened to Leo's reply before answering. "We're at the coffee shop... Maybe he could help."
"Alright I will be right there.. now stay put.. Yeah my brother can help." He said, "Love you... very much.." And hung to phone up, stuffing it into his pocket as he walked along.
