"Alright, I'll be here." Maria said softly, "I love you too. See you when you get here."

She listened as the call ended, closing her phone and looking at it as she held it in her lap. Then she placed it on the table she was sitting at. Before looking towards the Mentor. Nodding at him, a light smile on her face.

When the Mentor sat back in his seat, across from her she told him. "He's coming. Should be here soon."

The Mentor turned to the woman as she poked his shoulder, "Oh thank you sweet heart." He said as Colin took the hot drink, giving the young lady a healthy tip, well a good tip. Walking back over to the table he sat down with a sigh, "Ahhh." he sighed as the Time Lord pulled the hot drink from his mouth, the heat soothed his tired throat, "So is he on his.."

"Oh.. Lovely." Mentor said with a smile, "So.. uh.. before he gets here.." He said running his finger around the lid, tracing the edge, "Could you tell me what to expect.. behavior wise? Well anything that I should know since I have not seen him since Gallifrey?" He asked.

A light amused smile appeared for a couple seconds as a pleasant memory crossed her mind. "Leo is a sweet man, sometimes a bit overprotective. Wonderful cook, a bit of tease..."

Maria smiled at the Mentor, "Leo's a good man, and a good father. He just worries about a lot of things. Granted I do to.. Like I've been for the past couple days.."

The tears were threatening to start running down her cheeks again. "Sorry.." She apologized as she use a napkin to dry her eyes. "We've been going through a rough few days lately.."

The Mentor chuckled, "Same old Leo right there.. that is good.. He gets the cooking talent from his mother. She was an amazing cook. Leo spent hours trying to learn her recipes.. he gave up and came up with his own." Colin said with a laugh, "It was fun to watch them cook together though.." He looked to Maria, he immediately understood why his brother would be over protective, "He is protective of you because he loves you Maria.. There is no shame in that."

Immediatly getting up when Maria started crying he walked over to her and held her gently as he listened to her. No wonder she looked so upset and tired, their kid ran away and they have not been able to find him since then. Mentor gently hugged her, and rocked Maria as Colin tried to calm her down.

He could only thing he could think of was helping to find the kid, besides Mark was his nephew, it would be cruel and selfish to not help look for the kid, "I will help you find him.. It will be alright, we will find him and he will be safe and sound.. Just you wait and see." He said quietly to Maria.

Looking over at the entrance he saw a man standing in the door way for a moment, immediately recognizing that it was another Time Lord, the man seemed to be exhausted and beaten up, not physically though, as the man quickly walked over.

Leo quickly walked along the pathway, dodging people as best as he could, if there was enough space and length he jogged along until he could not run any more. He was just two more corners away, but he had to stop to catch his breath. Gasping he looked around as the Time Lord tried to catch his breath.

He spotted someone who looked familiar.. if he was not hallucinating that is, "Mark? Mark Owen?" But it turned out to be a figment of his imagination. Sighing he sat down on a bench, almost sobbing as he put his head into his hands, gripping his hair. He felt as though he was too hard on the boy, maybe if he was not so tough and strict Mark would not have run off, "It's all my fault.. I am such a bad.. father.." Taking a deep breath he lifted his head and looked around before looking down sadly.

Coming to a stand he decided that he will walk the rest of the way to the coffee shop Maria and his brother were located at, stopping at the crosswalk and looking both ways he quickly crossed. Letting out a deep sigh first he opened the door to the coffee shop and stepped inside, letting the door close on its own as he looked around the small shop for Maria.

Spotting her he smiled lightly at the sight of her but then something made him concerned.. she was with another man and she was crying.. Who was the... Wait it was his brother. It had to be! She said he was there with her. Maybe he asked her what was going on and she started crying..

Walking over, being careful to not bump anyone he stopped just beside Maria and Colin, "Maria? Angel..." He said quietly as Leo took her in his arms, "Maria.. it will be alright.." He looked up at his older brother, who sighed quietly, then looked back down to his wife.
