Susan was panicked. Arkytior was screaming in her mind, and there were thousands of voices, noises booming in her head. She clung tightly to her grandfather. Her eyes opened, but they were blank, white without the pupil, and she stared at Ace. She was dying, and no one cared. Was that normal? She didn’t want to die, but it seemed that that was what was happening and it was supposed to be a good thing. Her eyes shut once more, and she was jerked back into the chaotic forces of her mind.
Her skin was hot and she stared up at the Doctor, except this was all in her head and she wasn’t staring at him because he wasn’t there. She could feel Ace’s hands on her, and she was acutely aware of the sound growing in her head until there was a click, and everything stuttered. The moment of silence gave way to screaming – loud, and desperate, and booming louder than before. She was constantly in pain – her time line crumbling was painful, and being a paradox hurt more than people could know.
Despite that, Susan wasn’t prepared for this pain. She was being ripped apart and a shrill scream escaped from her, her body violently seizing as it tried to resist regenerating. Let go. The regenerative energy bathed her, and Susan shuddered out a breath, leaning heavily against the woman and the man. Her mind was clear and quiet, though she didn’t remember it ever being loud. She sat up, blinking pale blue eyes as she brushed her hair back. She stood up shakily, looking around the apartment, confused.
The sharp stench of blood and bile greeted her, and her nose scrunched. “Um… who are you?” she asked, looking down at herself curiously. Her dress was short on this body, only reaching about her mid-thigh, and the bust tighter. She covered herself sheepishly, chewing on her bottom lip nervously.

Ace could feel Arkytior panicking causing her to feel like her hearts were beating out of her chest but she kept her hands on Susan determined to help the woman regenerate and not die “You’re not dying on me sunshine.”
She could barely hear Susan’s screams due to her own regeneration after she clicked open the fob watch. She could almost see Susans timeline fall apart and for some reason, even though she knew trapping Arkytior in the watch so Susan wasn’t losing her mind, it broke her hearts.
Regeneration in her opinion, in one word, suck majorly. She felt her entire body structure change slowly at first then all at once leaning forward a little Ace put her hands on her kneels taking a deep breathe coughing as a little whirl of gold smoke came out of her mouth “Never get used to that.”
From what she could tell she was couple of inches taller than before but that was all she knew at the moment, she’d check a mirror later when she had the time. “Um… who are you?” Ace held up a hand to say something then waved it away in a, nope someone else take this one gesture.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
As soon the glow had subsided, The Doctor gave a heavy breath of his own, at last. From the moment he'd touched Susan's head, he'd been holding his breath. He smiled fondly as he looked over her newly formed features. The blood was gone, the scars and cuts, a distant memory. Susan was whole again. Well.. His dearest Susan would never truly be whole again. Not unless he could find some way to restore her timeline. Oh but that was neither here not there at the moment. He gently took his frock coat and placed it over her shoulders.
“It's alright, Susan. We're friends. You had another episode.” he calmly rattled off, stooping down to scoop up Raya into his arms and run his fingers down her spine, trying to comfort the young morphling. He could sense the girl's anxiety, and no doubt watching two time ladies regenerate like they had was unsettling. “Tell me, my dear. What do you remember?”
It took a brief moment before she realized that someone was picking her up. She was completely focused on the two women that were regenerating, and she hadn't noticed that she zoned out somewhere during the end. Now she was being picked up by the only Timelord who hadn't regenerated, and Raya feared she might have stuck her claws into his shirt sleeve. Then again in this form she hadn't exactly have retractable claws.
Raya's tan tail flickered occasionally as she felt the Doctor's finger move through her fur. Her back arching with the movement, as she started to relax. Soon enough, she began to purr, not that it meant that she was completely calm. It was more like everything was sinking in for her, and the immediate danger that was once there had vanished.
Susan blinked up at him as he covered her with the coat. It was covered in blood and didn’t smell appealing, but it was a kind gesture. “Another episode,” she murmured, nodding her head softly. Well, that certainly made sense. Her head was fuzzy and she couldn’t remember what was happening. Wasn’t it something about group therapy? She blinked at the cat in his hands and she reached out, running her hands across the ruffled fur. “We’re friends,” she repeated. “Dr… Dr. Smith, that’s right…”
What did she remember? What did she remember? Nothing was coming to mind, not at first. “I’m Susan English… you’re Dr. Smith… and…” This couldn’t have been the study room. It was covered in blood. There was an image of a dead woman and an older man and it flashed across her mind, subconsciously thinking of her own body and David, though her mind substituted it for her mum and grandfather. “I don’t like this place, it’s full of death and sadness,” she said, stumbling dreamily towards the exit. “Where’s my house, Grandfather Time?”

Standing shakily to her feet Ace felt her clothes ride up a little, yup definitely taller in this regeneration.
“Where’s my house, Grandfather Time?” Seeing that The Doctor had his hands full with Raya Ace moved over and gently grabbed Susan’s arm so she didn’t go wandering out of the apartment just yet. “We’re..” she was surprised by her own voice in its difference causing her to clear her throat and start again.
“We’re going to take you there.” Though were they would take her she had no idea. Ace looked at The Doctor not really sure how to put it her brain still a little fuzzy.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
“I don’t like this place, it’s full of death and sadness... Where’s my house, Grandfather Time?”
The Doctor gently placed the young morphling onto the ground, a gentle stroke behind her ear and quietly instructed her to stay close before raking his fingers through his soft curls before turning those piercing blue eyes to Susan. Where, indeed.. He needed to find someone he could trust. Someone with an open mind and and even more open heart. He offered his hand to Susan. "I think that might be best." he said softly when Ace said they were going to take her there now.
After sealing her memories, it simply would be counterproductive to take Susan into The TARDIS. It could undo everything he had just accomplished. And moth Susan and Ace's regenerations would have been for naught. He couldn't take that chance. As he led Susan from the shambled apartment, he noticed an wanted ad stabled to a light post. A request for a room mate. As he quickly scrolled the information, he offered a smile and snatched the paper from the pole. Something about the woman's name on the paper seemed familiar. Marisol DeLaVega.
Raya watched Susan carefully from her place in the Doctor’s arms as the newly regenerated Timelady ran her hand across Raya’s fur. It had certainly helped settle her nerves, just enough for the on-edge hair to lay back down in its neutral position. As soon as the Doctor had placed her back on the ground, she had that momentary urge to bolt; however; along with the Doctor’s request to stay close; Raya also felt that she had to make sure that Susan got to a safer place.
She followed the trio outside, making sure to stay clear from their legs as the Doctor grabbed a piece of paper from a street lamp. Raya tilted her head, trying to decide where the Doctor was planning on going with the ad; all the while going from one to the other. At least he had a plan on where Susan could call her home, or rather Raya hoped that was his plan.
