When Magpie isn't getting into trouble messing around with Time, she makes her living repairing things. She has yet to come across something she couldn't eventually fix. She doesn't know how or why, but she almost immediately understands how things work, aiding in her skill in repairing them.
Physical Description:
Magpie is scrawny. That's not to say she doesn't have a flattering figure for her height and weight, but she barely weights more that 110 lbs and stands just shy of 5'3". She doesn't look like she could accomplish much, but as it turns out, Magpie is quite flexible, able to painlessly dislocate joints and contort her spine. Because of this, she can squeeze in and out of tight spaces, and is an excellent escape artist.
Magpie has a soft and pale complexion, her youthful face framed by wavy shoulder length teal hair. Her eyes wide and curious, one blue, the other green. She has full pouting lips that are upturned in a cheerful smile.
As for her attire, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to her choices. She loves color, and will go out of her way to incorporate it into her wardrobe. Her leggings are black but spattered with brightly colored geometric shapes, around her waist, a dark charcoal colored flannel long sleeved shirt. She has a particular black and red tank top that she's very fond of. It has a few rips and holes, the larger tears patched with bright fabrics. She has a charcoal grey denim jacket, but the sleeves were cut off. She has since replaced them with brightly colored fabric that doesn't match.
Her prize possessions are:
- Backpack:
- Music box Locket:
- Her Diary:
Personality:
- Determined: When Magpie sets her mind to something, you might as well get out of her way. She won't change her mind. At least, not easily. She's been like that since she was a child, and it has gotten her into more trouble and danger than she'll ever admit.
[li]Affectionate: Maggie is not afraid to show her affection for others. She happily hugs, hold hands with friends, and adores being around the people she cares about. She can sometimes be a little too touchy feely and it can give people the wrong idea.[/li]
[li]Playful: To someone who doesn't know her well, Magpie doesn't seem to take anything seriously. She's always one of the first to crack a joke or pun to lighten a situation. She always has a mischevious smile and always seems to be up to something. She's not above pulling the occasional prank, either.[/li]
[li]Adventurous: Maggie has an incurable lust for adventure. The joy of seeing strange places, meeting new people, and discovering the wonders of the universe before her.[/li][/ul]
- Protective: Anyone she comes to love and care for, she would more than willingly put herself in harms away to protect them.
History:
Maggie remembers very little of her childhood. As far as she knows, she has never set foot on Gallifrey, nor does she really know anything about it other than what she's been told. But what she does remember was the day a Time Lord called The Nomad saved her from a vicious alien that was feeding off the children in the orphanage she live in. That was when her life changed forever. She went from one adventure to the next as the Time Lord's young companion. He started calling her a little Magpie due to how easily distracted she was and she was so fascinated by the flickering lights of his TARDIS.
An incident arose when Magpie was injured and found that she could heal very quickly. Knowing this was not a human trait, The Nomad gave her a full diagnostic scan and discovered that the girl he thought was just a mere human was in fact a young Gallifreyan. Puzzled as to how a young Time Lord came to be on earth with no recollection of how she got there or who her parents were, The Nomad decided to truly take her under his wing and adopted her.
As the years rolled by, Magpie grew more and more independent. She wasn't outright defiant but there was so much she wanted to do, so much she wanted to see. She knew that The Nomad wasn't going to let her use the TARDIS to run amok all over time and space, so she made her own Vortex Manipulator. That Vortex Manipulator ended up getting Magpie into more trouble than it was worth. She ended up several situations where she was nearly killed, she'd had to kill a few people to escape, she'd accidentally altered a fixed point and it took several tries to fix it and set history back in its' proper place.
On one jump, she met The Doctor and a companion called Ace. She never understood why but the two of them became very protective of her. Fascinated by his strange mannerisms and Ace's explosive personality, she decided to travel with them for some time. She came to think of the Doctor as a second father and Ace like a big sister. But she couldn't travel with them forever. She had her own adventures to find. But before she departed, The Doctor gave her a small small gold pendant with a light blue glowing opalescent stone. She thought it was merely a token of friendship, but it was actually a tracking device so the Doctor could always find her if she needed help. She is still unaware of this fact.
Eventually, she came to realize she had become so horribly lost in time, she had no way of getting back home to The Nomad. That was the day she stopped time jumping, in the hopes that he would eventually catch up with her and take her home.
But he never came...
Magpie now spends her time working in an antique repair shop. Because of her knowledge of how things work and her thin fingers, she's made a fair living doing this. She still holds out hope that The Nomad will find her. Or the Doctor... or anyone.

Additional medical information:
Magpie actually possesses 'Telekinesis' which actually aids in her repairs. So long as she can see it, she can manipulate it. She can also see the future in her dreams, though they don't always make sense at the time. Her body can heal from minor to moderate injuries without having to regenerate. Because her her two hearts, she is excellent at endurance. The pump highly oxygenated blood through her, giving her much more energy and stamina. So unless you're another timelord in good physical condition, good luck catching her when she runs.
