The wolf's claws scraped down Finn's arm and she cried out in pain. The process was repeated until the wound was wide open and Finn was losing blood. Seeming satisfied, the wolf turned and ran off into the forest, leaving Finn whimpering, cold, scared and bleeding...
Finn sat up with a start. At first she thought it was all a dream, but she gave a loud moan of pain when she tried to move her arm. She was still in the forest. It had only been about 10 minutes ago that she'd been cut by the wolf, and that hadn't been much sleep. But she had to stop bleeding. A bandage...she needed a bandage, until she could get her arm stitched up. Finn got to her feet but fell straight back down again.
She was too weak to be able to stand. Finn thought for a long while and then, using her good arm and both her legs, she began dragging herself along. It was a slow and painful process, but eventually she came out of the forest entrance. Finn leaned against a tree, tired and bleeding, and hoped that somebody in the park nearby, would spot her and come to help her. Because somebody had to be able to see her.
Just in case they couldn't, Finn summoned all the strength she had left to shout. "HELP!" was what she shouted, before she slumped against the tree again, closing her eyes and holding her bleeding arm, hoping, willing, wishing for somebody to come along and help her. Sure, it may have seemed desperate, but Finn was in a lot of pain.
Serves her right, she supposed, for going after a wolf. But she just had to see, she couldn't help it. Finn's eyes opened so she could observe the park opposite. It was night time, but there were still several people there, what with there being a restaurant next door so the parents could eat and keep an eye on their playing kids. Finn shut her eyes again. "Help." she mumbled again, hopelessly. [/font]
