Chief held Millennia up, he wanted to make sure she was able to properly care for herself in his Zero Room, help put her head on straight.
He had clung to his previous incarnation for quite some time, having only regenerated while he was part of Millennia's rescue team, so it took a bit of time for The War Chief to find the Zero Room again.
Milli told him of the ringing in her head. Chief nodded a bit and said, "Yeah, I know. It's not fun. Just hang on a little more, alright Mill?"
He found the Zero Room and slowly let Millennia down to her feet, "You're going to have to focus for me Milli, focus on laying in a bed." She needed to concentrate.
Millennia wasn't entirely certain how she felt about being carried under normal circumstances, but right now it definitely seemed preferable.
She could sort out the rules for this regeneration later.
When they reached the Zero Room, the tingling eased immediately. So much so that, while Milli's favorite flower before had been the blue pikin flowers that grew on the Mountain of Solitude, she wouldn't be surprised if whatever flower this was replaced it.
Her intermediate knowledge of xenobotany said 'rose', but it might have been cherry instead.
With the tingling gone, Millennia could almost feel her synapses healing. When Magnus told her to focus on laying in a bed, she was confused for only a moment before closing her eyes.
"Oh yes, good idea," she laughed a little. Then she let herself fall backwards and stay afloat by projecting her will that it be so.
As Chief let Millennia float onto her back, she needed to rest a bit before they made any decisions. She had quite the regeneration, as he recalled his own being just as troublesome. However, besides not being able to walk on her own two feet, Chief didn't think there been any real complications. It certainly hadn't felt like her regeneration was failing.
She was on her back now, and Magnus smiled a bit, "Sleep well Millennia, When you wake up, I'll be in the console room, alright?"
Well, not immediately, he wanted to go see if Millennia's TARDIS had been there, and if it was, he'd try and move it here before he asked if Millennia wanted to stay with him.
Millennia let herself drift off to sleep shortly after Magnus left the room. Not so much because she was tired as that she knew her body needed rest and sleep was the quickest way to heal.
The young Aspirant had been caught quite off guard by her regeneration. It had not precisely been planned, and moreover she was not exactly the most prepared for it either. It had been quite a long time since Millennia had attended Prydon Academy and had any sort of coaching on the biological 'perks' of a Time Lord. Little wonder that her first experience had quite scattered her mind.
So Milli slept and waited. There would be plenty of time to figure out who she was now when she was better rested and stable without the presence of the Zero Room.
The War Chief wandered back out of his TARDIS and found Millennia's supposed TARDIS. Well, he said TARDIS, more, poor beaten up looking thing. He breathed in deep and decided to make a project of it, Milliennia's TARDIS deserved to live, hell, all TARDISes did.
Venturing inside, Magnus looked around, surveying the damage. He didn't bother to wonder what had caused these things, instead thinking about how he would fix them. He had a tool kit and enough spare parts to build a TARDIS or three from scratch. He'd done his best to pay attention in engineering, and while he certainly wasn't as good as say Drax was, he could do quite a bit of good on his own with a hammer and some nails.
He'd only returned shortly before the end of Millennia's rest to make her tea, knowing she would quite like that when she had a mouthful.
By the time Millennia woke, she was feeling much better down to the tips of he toes. Her throat had stopped tickling and she was very happy to say that the ringing in her bones had stopped.
She was not sure if that was just a product of the Zero Room or if she had slept long enough to have fully adjusted. What Millennia did know, was that she had spent enough time doing nothing in her life to not want to wait to find out.
The War Chief found that he was quite good at care-taking, Milliennia was up, something was just telling him that in the back of his mind. In fact, she was calling to him. Which was good, because the tea was still hot enough to drink. With a simple, dark brown tray in hands,Magnus was off to the Zero Room.
The doors opened, Magnus' TARDIS knew that Milli was quite important to him. He slowly sat beside her, no chair necessary. This was finally when Chief was able to grasp just how different his own new body was, regenerated during her rescue. When had he ever been this compassionate.
"Hey Mill, are you feeling alright? I've got tea. It's gonna help."
