We are a small but welcoming group of Doctor Who enthusiasts that also share a love for Roleplay! We have members of all sorts of RP styles and levels of experience, so don't be shy if you're new! We all start somewhere!
As far as plot goes, it is fairly free reign, with the occasional structured event. Storylines range from Canon to Alternate Universe tellings and anywhere in between! Imagination is your only limitation with the possibilities!

09/19/2017 Mandatory Activity Checks are now a thing of the past!!
No one enjoys doing RP posts when it feels like a chore. So we are doing away with it completely. There are still some posting requirements, but we hope this will make things feel much more relaxed. Be sure to review our rules to get all the details.

So many people she should be nervous, but she wasn’t they where here to dance and party and she was gonna give them one. Oracle picked up the head phones and placed them on her head looking out over the crowd, she leaned over to the microphone and pushed the button to turn it on “Let’s do this then shall we.” clicking a few buttons on the laptop she had sitting in front of her the music started to blare through the speakers mounted on the haphazard stage that had been thrown together for the show. Nothing like these old school electronica show to get the blood pumping, and she had always wanted to DJ one, so when she had seen the advert at a locally owned book/cd store, she thought she’d give it a shot, no pain no gain and she’d only be one of the DJs anyway they’d each have enough time for five songs a set to keep it even.
She stood back watching the crowd and the equipment, glow sticks waving in the air and glow paint getting thrown around on the people. Her head bobbed with the music coming through her head phones as it also came through the speakers, she could feel the bass from the sub woofers shaking the floor and resonating through her converses. She fist pumped letting off some sparks from her hand, people would probably just assume it was a firecracker or something like that she then turned the turntables and twisted a few of the controls after the first song to give them a sweet transition before setting the third song up to play off of the other equipment rather then her computer and waiting for the right moment shortly before the second song was over before pressing the microphone again “Now for a personal favorite, it’s not really a rave type song but bare with me and don’t forget to tip your waitresses.” not that there where any it just seemed like the thing to say.
Oracle shut her computer and stuffed it into her bag while the final song played; she plugged her headphones into and old beat up mp3 player before taking a low bow and exiting the stage and headed out into the crowd.
"No, no, that's not it...come on, you...ah-ha!" The Doctor turned round and went in the direction the device in his hand was pointing to. It was small, metal, rectangular, and had some lights and buttons and a little dish. The Doctor loved devices with little dishes. It finally seemed to start working now, and eventually led him to the door of a building. Something loud seemed to be coming from inside, muffled by the walls.
He opened the door and went in, finding himself entering in the middle of a rave. A situation he'd never thought he would find himself in. He checked the device again. Yup, the source of the electrical energies was somewhere in here. But how would he go about finding it? Then something caught his eye. The DJ, a redheaded girl. Something seemed to shoot from her hand. Sparks. They weren't obvious, but he noticed. Could it be her?
Ok maybe going through the ground hadn’t been the smartest idea “Excuse me.” she tried to push her way through them heading to the door outside, but there were to many people and they were to busy dancing to the music to pay attention to her trying to get through “Please. Move.” she took a breath and pushed again making a little bit of progress through the crowd, she stopped still trying not to panic “Seriously,..” she set off a slight bit of electric wave, causing some near by speakers to smoke. She sighed and closed her eyes seeing that it scared a path for her to get through, she moved in a blurr for the door, if she stayed fast till she got out the door she hoped no one would pinpoint where the surge came from.

There it was again. None of the ordinary humans noticed it, but as she tried to push through the crowd, the Doctor saw the sparks the DJ made in order to get the people to move. Whoever this person was, they definitely weren't ordinary. And if they were the source of the energies he had been picking up, then the situation was a potentially dangerous one. And the Doctor just couldn't stay away from those.
Pushing through the outside of the crowd, he reached forward and grabbed on to the girl's arm. "Hold on!" he said, and using as much force as he could, pulled her out of the crowd. "Hm, that could've been smoother," he said. "You alright?"
It was everything Oracle could do not to rip the guys arm off of her as he pulled her out of the crowd, but she forced herself to remain calm. Oracle had to run all the possibilities through her head of what he could have said, she could barely hear him over the music so it took her a minute after he asked her before she responded. Common rice? No that couldn’t be it. Two to the right, Oracle tilted her head a little bit, no that couldn’t be it.
Once she finally thought she had worked it out she could of face palmed herself, Oh! “You alright?” Oracle nodded a little bit “Ya I just gotta get outta here.” he was slowing her down, but for the moment it was a welcome distraction from how many people where in there.

The Doctor could see her lips moving, but the din of the dancers and everything made it nearly impossible to hear. "Sorry, it's too loud in here. Let's head out, though it looked like that's what you were doing anyway." He opened the door that he came in and held it open for her. When they got away from the eyes of the...ravers? then he could check to see what exactly was going on with this girl.
Oracle watched him for a second as he opened the door, looking back towards another door at the other side she could make it if she moved very quickly, she took a single step towards its direction then stopped looking back at the guy, “Ya, ok.” she walked through the door that he held open, taking the headphones off her head and laying them on her neck looking around.

As soon as they were outside, the Doctor wasted no time in finding out what he could. "Let's see then..." he stood in front of the girl and looked her in the eye. "Okay, you look human enough, but there's something...different about you. Obviously a part of those sparks you were sending off. You should be more careful with that, by the way. Now I wonder if you're the source of these weird readings." He took out the sonic screwdriver, waved it over her, and looked at it. His brow furrowed in confusion.
"Well obviously not...as unique as your gift might be, it's not nearly powerful enough as what I've been getting. In fact, I'd be surprised if I had been able to detect your power at all. Well this is obviously nothing to do with you. At first I thought it could've been freak storms, which were happening, but that was somewhere in Edinburgh. I checked those out and it was just an attempt to invade by these tiny alien flies. So I came back here and started picking it up again and I know it's definitely alien, and something big. And the biggest question of all is why am I telling you all of this?"
He looked at the redhead for another minute before holding out his hand. "Hello. I'm the Doctor," he said cheerfully.
She looked human enough, that caused her to chuckle a little bit, often she forgot that she wasn’t human on that very reason; she looked so much like them but was so different at the same time. “Don’t know what you’re talking about they where fireworks.” Flinching slightly, and then quickly reining herself in when he pulled out the Sonic Screwdriver and waved it over her. “Run, Run!” Oracle pinched the bridge of her nose calming herself down, ok maybe DJing had been a bad idea, it had gotten her to wound up.
Oracle listened as the guy rambled on, she couldn’t help but nod and move her head in a slight circular manner with a single eyebrow raised, wow this guy could talk “Do you always talk this much to someone you don’t know?” that was rude, she sighed “That was rude, I’m sorry.” she shook his hand “Names Oracle, nice to meet you Doctor.” Oracle couldn't help but let her curiosity get the best of her "So what type of power source are we talking about?"

The Doctor gave the girl a knowing smile. "Oh, you know full well what I'm talking about. Don't worry though, it doesn't weird me out at all," he assured her. "And that's not rude at all, but to answer your question, yes, I do tend to do that quite a lot. Oh well." He shrugged, and shook her hand warmly. Then he answered her last question. "Oh, I've been picking up readings for some alien power source and trying to track it. It's not a kind that I recognise, that's for sure."
Oracle looked at The Doctor for a second when he said that her little light show ability didn’t weird him out “Good.” she let the hand shake drop and stopped herself from saying how if he liked that he should see it on a large scale. She reached up and scratched the back of her head thinking out loud a little bit, “Can you not track it down to a localized area?”

"This is as localized as I can get it," the Doctor answered. "Last reading I got it was coming from in there." He distractedly waved at the building they had just left with the sonic screwdriver before zapping his device with the dish. "Let's see, maybe if I increase the power to the ionic detectors..." He fiddled with the wires sticking out on the machine, which resulted in sparks flying out. He dropped the device and it smashed on the ground. "Oh...that's not good..."
Oracle thought about it for a second, softly thinking out loud some “You know, thinking about it there was an area in the building earlier that the management was keen on making sure no one got near. I don’t know if that helps any.” she watched as The Doctor fiddled with the wires, and arched an eyebrow as the thing sparked and he dropped it. “Problems?”

The Doctor gave an offended look at Oracle when he heard her last comment. "What makes you think there's a problem?" he asked. He delicately picked up the blackened, burned metal piece that was all that remained of his device. "There's just a re-wiring problem...and the dish isn't working...and most of the technology is beyond repair...okay, so a little problem!" he sighed. Then what Oracle had said before that ran through his mind, and his ears pricked up.
"Oh?" he asked. "That might help. Where was this area?"
Oracle looked at him as if to say, what? when he looked at her offended then smirked a little when he picked up the remains of the device ”okay, so a little problem!" “Well at least you’re man enough to admit it.” When he asked her where the area was she had to stop and think about it for a second it had been a big building and when she’d gotten bored earlier she’d wandered around a tiny bit. “Umm,” she traced a line on an imaginary map “Past the ravers, almost to the other side of the building.”
