Ace followed The Doctor into The TARDIS not saying a word, she was livid with him but she’d be damned if she’d let it show on her face or any other way to let on that she was pissed. Ace was failing miserable.
Crossing her arms across her midsection as she walked up the walkway towards the console area, Ace couldn’t help but think about all the people she’d know that were dead right now. They could have saved them, should, have saved them.
Closing her eyes Ace checked her temper raising an eyebrow while taking a couple of quick calming breaths and placing her hands on the railing, not really trusting herself to turn around and face The Doctor just yet.
Finally when she felt in control of her emotions “So, were to now Doctor?” she said as she turned to face him.

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
After being rescued from The Reaper, Leo and Maria had brought the children back to the TARDIS, safe and sound. But, Magpie got the chew out of a life time. Granted, she more than deserved. She'd nearly gotten herself and her baby brother killed at the hands of a lunatic Time Lord. Leo tried to remain calm with Magpie as he tried to get it through to her that what she had done was very foolish.
“Magpie, I dont know what was going through your head, but you need to get your head on straight, young lady! What you did was very irresponsible.” Mags couldnt even bring herself to look at him.
“It was an accident, dad. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I.. I just wanted...”
Leo folded his arms across his chest, waiting for her to continue, but she she didn’t, he continued for her.
“To see Rio again, right? Well, I hate to do this, but You wont be seeing him for a while. I'm grounding you from your time travel privileges. I understand how you feel about him, but he's obviously had a bad influence on you. I'm stepping in” Magpie stared at him as though he had just slapped her in the face and backed away
“You cant do that!” . But Leo calmly and quietly replied “I just did. Give me the Vortex Manipulator... Now”. He held out his hand looking her in the eyes, showing his daughter that he wasn't even close to kidding.
But Magpie just backed away from him, a look of heart break and betrayal on her face. “Yvellyn, dont make me say it again.” Magpie froze, when he used her given name. He only called her than when he was being serious and usually when he was upset. She squared her jaw, her eyes stinging as they threatened tears and she shook her head, placing her hand on the vortex manipulator. How could he? How could he try to keep her from Rio? He was a wonderful person, loving, an adorable smile, a great sense of humor. Granted, she hadn't seen him since they were twelve, but Rio was perfection in Magpie's eyes. And now Leo was trying to take that from her? She spat the words at him, bitterness clinging to every syllable. “I hate you, Leo”.
And before she had the chance to say anything else, her hand twisting the dial to send her from the Tardis. As she began to dematerialize, she saw the look of hurt in his eyes and she immediately regretted her words, but it was too late to apologize. The Tardis and her dad were gone. A sob clung in her throat. She had told him that she hated him lots of times before.. She was a teenager, and it was a typical reaction when teens and parents had their spats.. What was different about this time, that made her feel like a horrible daughter, that had put the look of hurt in her dad's eyes... She had called him by his name. Not just “I hate you” or “I Hate you, Dad”... No, she had spoken to him like he was a stranger to her, just some man who was in her way. The man who had saved her life, adopted her, put a roof over her head, was the only father she had ever known...
When she finally arrived, she was hit with a stabbing chill and was blinded by the bright white all around her. She was in the middle of a blistering cold frozen wasteland. Her arms immediately went to wrap around herself trying to keep warm. She realized she was only wearing a pair of denim jeans and a light blue sweater and a pair of blue trainers. The bitter wind whipped around her, chilling her to the bone. She took a few steps looking around, not sure which way to go. She had no idea where.... or when she was.. She didn’t even know if she was on Earth. She looked down at the V.M. with a worried sigh. It was currently inactive and would have to recharge. But that could take hours, even days depending on how much power it had used to bring her to a certain destination. She whimpered to herself, feeling her body fight to stay warm. “Well.. I cant just stand here like an idiot.....” and she began trudging forward through the snow.
It only took about twenty-five minutes before the cold started to get to her. She wasn't sure how far she'd walked, but in the short amount of time, she felt like she'd been walking for miles. Her teeth clenched, trying to keep them from chattering. It was then, she noticed that her breath was no longer clinging in the air. Her body temperature was dropping and her hands and feet were starting to go numb from exposure. She fell to her knees, feeling exhausted and stared at the expansive waste of snow ahead of her. A tear rolled from her eye and froze as it got to her cheek. She quietly muttered to herself as she curled into a ball in the snow. “I... I'm going to die.. I'm going to die and I never told him..”
“Tell me what, ma chère?” The voice whispered in the back of her head. Magpie's eyes weakly forced themselves open. There was no one there. “Rio?” Again, his deep voice whispered in the back of her mind “Ouais, Maggie. Who else would it be?” Magpie didn’t know if she was hallucinating, having one of her visions, or if she was just delirious, but she smiled at the sound of his voice, glad she could speak to him, even if it was only her imagination. “Rio, I'm so stupid.. I.. I said something horrible to my dad.. He was just trying to protect me and I threw it in his face.. And now.. I wont be able to tell him how sorry I am... and.. I cant tell you how I feel about you” Rio's voice seemed to chuckle at her. “Non, Maggie.. Your Papa loves you. I know he will forgive you. And you can tell me how you feel about me when you see me again.” Magpie's voice broke into a soft sob as she shivered in the snow, her body becoming less and less aware of the cold. “I'm sorry, Rio, but I dont think I'll ever see you again.. I.. I dont know where I am.. it's so cold and I can't feel my legs.. So.. I have to tell you now... Rio... I lo-” But the Frenchman's voice seemed to interrupt her, his tone very serious “Maggie, You need to get up.. You need to keep moving.” Magpie whimpered as she struggled to move. “I can't, Rio.. I... I dont think I'm strong enough”
“Je crois en toi, Maggie”. Magpie was silent for a moment. She didn’t speak French. She was beginning to wonder if his voice was actually her imagination or something else. “Rio....” His voice gradually became more stern, trying to be encouraging but insisting that she listen to him “I need you to get up, Maggie. Moving keeps you warm. You need to keep moving”. Magpie slowly forced herself to a stand, every muscle in her body screaming in retaliation. “Where should I go?” Magpie whimpered as she shuddered in the snow, but Rio's ever soothing voice urged her onward “That doesn’t matter, just keep moving, please, Maggie.” Magpie nodded weakly as she slowly trudged forward, trying so hard to do as Rio's voice pleaded. She had stopped trying to riddle out whether his voice was real or not. But Magpie had spent too long laying in the snow. She only managed to get about ten feet before her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she collapsed, unconscious, in the snow.
As chance would have it, however, she had landed on the sonic screwdriver on her pants pocket. As she lay in the snow, freezing, it let out it's high frequency wail like a distress beacon.
The Doctor stared indeterminably forward. He wasn't ignoring Ace, but he wasn't quite prepared to meet her gaze just yet, either. He ran his fingers through his hair, stopping to scratch at the back of his head. All those people. He supposed he knew he could save some of them. Surely he did, but.. he looked down at his console.
“So, where to now Doctor?”
He turned and looked at her for a moment, then back at the console. “I was thinking we coul- Hang on, do you hear that?” The Doctor looked at Ace confused. It was a sonic device. He fished into his pockets to get his. The sound wasn't coming from him. “What is that? Where is that coming from?”
He began to search around the control room, occasionally stopping to think up places where the sound could possibly be coming from. The Doctor ever took up a couple of the grated floor boards, thinking it was coming from either one of the wires, or perhaps maybe the from inside one of the trunks. Maybe it had been one of his older sonics, that he stored away for safekeeping? Apparently not..
Finally he hopped out from under the floor, quickly placing the floors back in their proper place. "Ace.. Mind helping me with locating this sound?" He asked as he began looking on the center control console itself. The high pitch noise nearly driving him nuts, the longer it took to locate.
When Ace pointed out that it was coming from the monitor, the Doctor almost wanted to hug her. So that's where the little thing was hiding. Well, that certainly made things easier. He took his brainy specs out of one of the inside pockets of his jacket, putting them on as he read the screen. "Alright, let's see what we got." He skimmed over some of the readings as they rushed by. "Okay so it's a distress signal coming from an Planet off in section thirty-two, twenty-five...." He paused for a moment, as he thought about where it was exactly.."No.. That's impossible.. How would that get there?" The Doctor asked as he started heading a course.
The Doctor took a scanner with him to track the signal, surely he'd be okay right? After all he was only going to be out there for a quick moment or two? He grabbed his jacket as he ran out the TARDIS doors, following the direction of the sound, and where the scanner was taking him. Soon he came across a small figure in the snow, as he got closer.. He realized how unprepared she was for the weather, and he was really hoping that she was still alive. After today.. He couldn't lose someone else.
Quickly making his decision, he picked up the small girl, and brought her back to the TARDIS. "Ace, I might need some help." The Doctor mentioned as he made his way towards the zero room. Carefully, he set her onto the med bed, and went over to the computer to start up the scan. He really was hoping he wasn't too late.
He let the TARDIS run it's diagnostic scan wanting to be sure the young girl hadn't been exposed to radiation. More specifically, radiation poisoning to her blood. "How in the blazes did a teenage girl get to Hoth? I thought the planet was quarantined." He wasn't actually asking, but more trying to riddle it out to himself. As the Diagnostic began to finish it's scan, The Doctor noticed something on the girl's wrist. It looked like a home made Vortex Manipulator. He scowled slightly "Oh, really! Come on. Why do people even use these?? They're so... Unreliable! So.. And I never plan on saying this again, so remind me if I do... They're so Fickle.. No one can properly use one without feeling like they had just ran into a brick wall!"
It was then that The TARDIS finally finished it's scan. He glanced up at the monitor and what he saw had him gaping in confusion. "wha.. Her DNA.. It's a quadruple helix.. That's... That's not possible! She'd have to be a.. Hang on.... What?" He squinted at the diagnostic. She was perfectly healthy other than the early symptoms of hypothermia. He tapped at the keyboard in confusion. He had to be sure he wasn't imagining things. He kept a datafile of his own DNA.. Just in case because you never knew when that sort of information was vitally important. He pulled it up and set it to show alongside hers.....
Other than a few markers, Her helix lined up perfectly with his. They matched. "But... How?? When?..... " He stared down at the unconscious girl, dumbfounded and then looked at Ace. "That's impossible...."

“I was thinking we coul- Hang on, do you hear that?” “Hear what?” Ace did hear it but she had no idea where it was coming from, “What is that? Where is that coming from?” Ace held her hands out to the side in a I have no idea gesture “I dunno sounds sorta like it’s coming from the console,” she watched as he looked all around the console room, raiseing an eyebrow looking at him strangely “Area.”
"Ace.. Mind helping me with locating this sound?" the faster they found were the signal was coming from the faster she could get off the TARDIS she stopped “Umm, Doctor.” she pointed at the monitor “It’s coming from there.” as the Doctor expamined the signal Ace couldn’t help but moving around beside him looking at it herself “Like a cry in the dark.” "Okay so it's a distress signal coming from an Planet off in section thirty-two, twenty-five...." she noticed he paused for a second “What?” "No.. That's impossible.. How would that get there?" “How did what get where?” he wasn’t telling her which was just making her angry. Ace instinctively grabbed onto the console as The Doctor started doing his little dance of piloting around the console.
“Hey! Wait up!” she glanced at the monitor for atmospheric conditions, damn it was going to be cold. Still, into the belly of the beast. Taking off after the Doctor Ace really hadn’t been ready for the cold she came to a complete stand still a couple of steps outside of the TARDIS door “Professor?!” she couldn’t see him for a second and that worried her cause if she couldn’t see him then he couldn’t see his way back to the TARDIS, Ace may have been angry with him that didn’t mean her wanted him to get hurt out here “Professor!” then she saw him, it looked like he was carrying someone and when he got closer Ace saw that she was right.
"Ace, I might need some help."
she nodded and followed after him as he headed to the Zero room, only breaking off to duck down to the wardrobe to grab one of her old jackets, it wasn’t the warmest thing but it would help to get the young girl warmed up some.
"Oh, really! Come on. Why do people even use these?? They're so... Unreliable! So.. And I never plan on saying this again, so remind me if I do... They're so Fickle.. No one can properly use one without feeling like they had just ran into a brick wall!" Ace looked down at what The Doctor was talking about as she placed the jacket ontop of the girl, and started rubbing her hands on the girls arms trying to warm her, softly “Stay with us kid.” then looking at The Doctor “I’m sorry, some of us don’t have Timelord Tec to travel the universe as we please, we take what we can.”
She was only half listening to The Doctor when he was looking at the girls DNA "That's impossible...." Ace looked from the girl on the Med bed to he scanner “Come on Doctor, one little adjective we’ll have a whole sentence here, for the rest of the class who don’t read complex DNA scans.”

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
Magpie whimpered the moment she felt arms coil around her to hoist her up, but she lay in his arms, completely limp. The only thing that she could manage to mumble was “Dad... I don't hate you” before letting her head fall back. She didn't know how long she was out cold. Could have only been moments, it could have been hours. All Magpie knew what she woke up was that there were two people hovering over her. She rested an arm across her eyes trying to block out the glaring light of the zero room. Wait.. Zero room? This was a TARDIS. She sat bolt upright, those oddly matched eyes glancing between the tall man with the crazy bangs and woman who's demeanor just screamed 'not on the mood'.
“Where... Where am I? Where are you taking me?” she squeaked out as she scrambled away from the two of them, yanking a sonic screwdriver out of her pocket and trying to look menacing before she fell off the med table with a thud. “Ow”. She tried to force herself to stand but her arms and legs still felt weak like she'd just run a marathon, and her lungs hurt from the cold air from outside. She happened to glance up at the monitor.. she recognized it was a DNA sequence of some kind, but it's significance was lost on her. She immediately glared accusingly to them as she managed to get on her feet. The first thought that came to her mind was that they were experimenting on her. “Okay! I have a sonic.. and I know how to use it!” she declared pointing it at them like she was brandishing a weapon.
The whole situation the Doctor was dealing with was baffling at the very least. How was this girl possible? It didn't make sense, she just wasn't possible. She couldn't be possible! And to be fair he thought he was explaining the situation very well... Though the look Ace was giving him said otherwise. Alright, so he should've explained better instead of his little panicked freakout. He looked from Ace to the girl, running his fingers through his gravity defying hair. He needed to calm down for a quick second, just so he could explain it in a way Ace would understand. Instead of the garbled up sentences that he concocted in his state of.. Well... Shock.
"Well.. It's.. Well.." The Doctor tried again, a bit calmer this time. "It's her DNA, Ace.. It's not possible, it can't be. Yet.. Look!" He pointed quickly at the screen, then at the girl who was laying down on the medical bed. "Oh, say you can see it Ace. The DNA.. Our.. My DNA and hers." He took a step over towards the sleeping girl. "They match almost completely, which means she's.. Which isn't possible because I haven't.." The Doctor paused for a quick moment. "Well I have.. Obviously, there's Susan.. That's not the point, the point is that she's not possible!" He explained with a rather exaggerated movement of his arms.
The time it took for the girl to wake, was painful for the Doctor. It went far to slow, and panic was quickly setting in as he stared at her. There was a mixture of shock, confusion, and the odd amount of protectiveness. After what happened to Susan, Alex, and Jenny.. He couldn't go through that again.
Suddenly she was up, and apparently attempting to convince them that she had a dangerous sonic device. Granted it was possible, but what she had looked more like a screwdriver. Similar to his, but not at the same time. He put his hands up in a defensive manner, to humor her a little bit. "Relax, we're not here to hurt you. We promise. I'm the Doctor, hello." The Doctor wiggled his fingers in a small wave. "Glad to see you're not dead."

Ace looked at the DNA on the screen then at the girl on the medical bed “Oh you can’t be serious?” she listened to The Doctor as he continued talking, softly “Yeah, yeah I see it.” moving closer Ace inspected the DNA. “Wicked.”
It all happened faster than she could react. Ace had started to move back over to were the girl was when the girl shot up “Where... Where am I? Where are you taking me?” Ace held her hands up trying to defuse the situation “Woah there sunshine, no one here means you any harm.”
She raised an eyebrow when the girl swung around the sonic like it was a weapon so she decided to follow The Doctors lead, as much as she hated herself for it “And I’m Ace, your sonic sent out a S.O.S. and picked it up.”

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
She only arched a brow at them as they tried to reassure her that they weren't going to harm her. She began checking herself over, paranoid that had implanted her with something. Why else would they have her DNA on screen, right? When she could find no abnormal marks or injections sites, she relaxed a little but not by much. “Alright... Doctor and Ace, was it?” She reached behind her head and began wrapping her long hair into a bun and used her sonic has a sort of hair pin to hold her hair in place. “The Magpie.” she said plainly and finally took a moment to actually look around at her surroundings. “Nice digs.. but.. I really can't stay.” she chirped with a rather unsettlingly mischievous smirk.
She drew in a quick breath and suddenly ran at them. G.I. Jane probably wasn't about to let her just barrel through them so, when Maggie was about to ram into them, she dropped and slid across the smooth floor right between their legs. Sometimes it was a good thing to be as thin and lanky as she was. She could fit into tight spaces. Once behind them she reached her hand into one of The Doctor's pockets and managed to fish out a small brassy key.
“Thanks, Doc!“ she chirped as she jingled it at him and ran from the med bay, trying to close every door behind her and knock over boxes of whatever she came across to slow them down and buy herself some time to get off the ship. It was all fine and good that they saved her, but no one did anything nice without expecting something in return, right? She wasn't waiting around to find out. She finally came to the console room and spun around, looking for the doors. She did a somewhat impatient dance in place as she tried to decide what to do. Bolt out the doors into the frozen wasteland that waited for her, or try to fly a TARDIS she'd never seen before.
Well... Maggie liked piloting. “Alright.. Button Button, who's got the button? Oh~ This one looks nice and important!”
“Alright… Doctor and Ace, was it?” The girl asked, to which the Doctor gave a rather quick grin with the added wink.
“That’s right. Hello,” He said again, as he watched her use her own sonic as a hair tie. Well, he couldn't judge there… After all, he lost track of how many times he chewed on his sonic… Perhaps that wasn't the same thing; still… it had a similar concept. At least, that’s what he hoped, anyway.
Right… He had to focus right now, this was his daughter… Well… one of his daughters… His daughter, the Magpie… The Doctor couldn't help the small grin on his face, after all… Just look at her, probably looked more like her mother, then again he really couldn't say. Considering he hadn't exactly met the woman yet. Just look at her! That mischievous smile, those curious eyes, the more he thought about it… The closer she got.
Hang on. It took him a moment, just one moment… If anyone was wondering how much trouble could possibly happen in one moment, well he certainly knew now. The Magpie had managed to slip by him, run out of the zero room, and cause enough chaos throughout the halls to have him sorting for weeks! And to top it all off… she managed to swipe his screwdriver!
“She… She has my screwdriver…” He finally managed as he looked upon the mess of boxes that led up to the control room. “She took my screwdriver… I love that screwdriver…” It wasn't until he nearly fell onto the TARDIS wall, that he quickly tried to maneuver through the mess. This really was not turning out to be his week, and that was apparent by the time he made it to the console room.
“What.. What did you do?” The Doctor asked scandalized, as he ran to the center column, placing his hand on the outer case of the moving cylinder. "Ace, can you help me stabilize the old girl?"
Post by Ace McShane on Nov 27, 2013 21:36:43 GMT -5
Ace saw the mischievous smirk and knew something was coming, but before she could say anything the kid was off like a light, sliding between their legs and taking off down the hallway “She… She has my screwdriver…” “Definitely your kid Professor.” “She took my screwdriver… I love that screwdriver…” Ace groaned a little and rolled her eyes a little before taking off down the hallway in the direction The Magpie had gone.
She jumped over boxes or kicked them out of the way as she came to them and even occasionally broke down a couple of doors, even as much as she hated to doing it and said a silent mental promise to the TARDIS, finally make her way back to the console room with The Doctor.
She headed straight of The Magpie and in a gentle forceful manner, picked the girl up by the waist and sat her down in the pilot’s seat. Ace started to say something to her but stopped when The Doctor asked her to help him stabilize the TARDIS “Yeah sure thing Professor.” she returned her attention to Maggie and pointed at her in a don’t move, I’ll deal with you when we’re not “dieing” gesture.
Moving over to the console Ace pulled down the screen and looked at it before she started making her way around the console throwing switches and trying to stay out of The Doctors way.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
"Me?" she huffed indignantly as she avoided his grasp by walking around the console, staying directly opposite of him. "What do you mean, 'what did I do'??" Her hands rested on the console leaning over at him, almost challenging, those mismatched colored eyes staring intently into his brown. The whole TARDIS shook violently. They were apparently now in flight. "Oh.. You mean that. Well it's not MY fault! The TARDIS I'M used to doesnt look anything like this. These things need to be more like cars.. All the parts in the same place.. It's not my fault your TARDIS's start button is where the 'clutch' should be!"
She waved her arms rather theatrically to emphasize her little rant about the console's layout when a pair of hands grabbed her by the hips and plopped her into the seat. "OY! Watch it!" she whined as though she had just been assaulted.
"Ace, can you help me stabilize the old girl?"
“Yeah sure thing Professor.”
The Magpie folded her arms across her chest and scowled at the look that Ace gave her. As soon as her back was turned, she stuck out her tongue and leaned back in the seat, plopping her feet up on the console. The bottoms of her light blue trainers squeaked against the metal surface and she started doing it rhythmically.. Mostly to annoy them as she reached into her pockets in a bored fashion. The brass key she'd nixed.. and The Doctor's screw driver.. it was a bit fancier and more ornate than hers. She took her own out of her hair and compared the two, curiously.
Was this child really serious? Why would any TARDIS have to be the same?! That didn’t make any sense! He stared at the young girl, still unsure of what to say to her. The Doctor opened his mouth as if to argue before promptly shutting it. He looked back to the console, trying to focus on the stabilization of his ship with Ace. Telling himself that he would deal with the Magpie afterwards.
After they had finally got the TARDIS to fly smoothly through the Time Vortex, the Doctor let out a short huff of a mixture between annoyance and relief. Reluctantly, he looked over towards the young timelord sitting on the couch currently looking over his and her own Sonic Screwdrivers.
"Thank you Ace." The Doctor thanked his companion, before turning towards the Magpie. “Can I have that back? It’s not yours, and considering we saved you from becoming an oversized popsicle. The least you could do is give that back and not touch the console.” He asked a bit firmer than he would usually use, but in his defense it had been a rather stressful week.

Ace ran around the console, helping The Doctor pilot The TARDIS a couple of times spinning around The Doctor so she didn’t bump into him even though they could have been dying she was enjoying every minute of it, the earlier concerns for the moment forgotten.
She nodded when The Doctor thanked her and tried to pretend she wasn’t there while he talked to the young girl.
Pulling the screen down Ace concentrated on it and flicked a couple of switches keeping The TARDIS stabilized.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
She just stared between the two of them rather annoyed. She didn't ask to rescued. She had already accepted her fate when she had collapsed in the snow. If nothing else, they had kidnapped her. Of course, she wasn't going to say as much. She tossed the man's sonic back to him and leaned back in the console seat and crossed her arms.
"Oh calm down, Doc. It's not like I broke anything. sheesh. You're worse than my dad. You know, you keep going at this rate, your hair's going to go all white from stress." She hopped up to her feet and came to stand beside the man and placed her hand on his shoulder, her other in the middle of his abdomen. With a light push, she had him standing with his back straight and she took a step back.
"Just... breathe.. Like this." and she gave a slow inhale through her nose and an even slower exhale through her mouth. "Good stress reliever. Might want to give it a try".
He couldn’t help but stare at the Magpie as he clumsily caught his screwdriver. He held it close to him before slipping it back into his inner jacket pocket. The Doctor turned his attention to the Magpie, opening his mouth to ask her what was going through her mind, only to be interrupted by the girl. He let out a long sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose with his index finger and thumb. “That’s not the point, it’s the fact that you could have. Well I’m not exactly your…” The Doctor paused, only slightly wishing that he could finish that last sentence with more confidence then it was executed with. “Dad, so why were you out in the cold instead of with him?!”
Her attempts to guide him through breathing techniques only made him give her a look of slight annoyance. With another sigh, he ran his fingers through his messing brown hair, “What am I going to do with you..” He paced around his console, making sure not to walk into Ace as he pulled a lever to stop the TARDIS, letting it drift through space calmly. “I think we should take you home,” he stated, pulling his sonic screwdriver out of the inside pocket of his jacket. Quickly scanning Magpie before turning back to the console, he just had to keep his mind of… well off of what was just behind him. “Only problem is that I have no idea where you came from before we found you in the snow.”
“Ace,” The Doctor started, “thank you, couldn’t have done it without you.” Well, that wasn’t completely truthful, he could have, but it would have been much harder. As he leaned against the console, he looked from Ace to the young Timelady sitting in the console seat. Suddenly clapping his hands together, the Doctor started. “Alright, where shall we go? Any ideas, ladies?”
