History: The Thief tried staying still when she was young. But, every little thing caught her attention! She had to see it! And, when one careless Time Lord left their TARDIS unlocked, she stole it. After that, she kept stealing! Why not?! There were so many great and wonderful things to be taken! Famous paintings, statues, books, teddy bears! She wanted it now! Sure, her reckless abandon of rules and respect for the law put her in danger, but that was half the fun! Priceless relics were more than worth the danger! But stealing wasn't all there was. Sometimes, there were more important things at stake. So, she'd stick her head in, and see what was what. Sometimes it'd get her a new regeneration because she didn't assess the situation right. Oh well. The Thief lived in the moment, because the moment was all she wanted. That, and nice things.
