Okay, so, on a sunny day like this one most kids lurked at home on the computer. But Kitty needed to get out of the house, or else she’d have died of boredom. So, the first chance she got, she dressed, grabbed her backpack (she took it practically everywhere with her…just in case. Her brothers had taught her to be ready for anything) and left the house. She’d just let her feet take her where she wanted to go, really, whether it was in the form of walking or skipping. A small and yet content smile forced it’s way onto Kitty’s lips as she finally slowed to a walk, making her way through the crowded streets. She wondered why it was so busy today; perhaps there was a carnival or something? Shrugging it off, Kitty glanced around, seeing if there was anything or anyone interesting around. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be. A frown took the smile’s place on Kitty’s features as she noticed this. Looked like she’d have to make something up herself, in that case, if everyone else was so boring.
So, since running helped her think, Kitty began to run, dodging through people and accidentally brushing against a few. But what didn’t occur to her was she looked like she’d just robbed a shop or done something bad, since she had a backpack, she was running and wasn’t stopping to apologize. She heard a couple shouts behind her and cursed under her breath in French. ”Merde!” with that said, she ran even faster, which probably made her look even more suspicious but at the moment she was being chased by someone who thought she’d done something against the law. Which of course, while Kitty thought it might have been fun (growing into her teenage years had not done much for her curiosities about crime), she hadn’t done anything and she wasn’t planning to.
Finally she dodged aside and escaped into the park. Smiling triumphantly, Kitty sat down on some swings, and began to swing slightly. Even though it could have ended badly, the whole scene that had just occurred amused her greatly. Smiling, she began to swing properly on the swing, wondering how high she could go before either she fell off or the swing broke. A mischievous smile appeared on Kitty’s features and she began swinging higher. She wouldn’t have been caught dead doing anything like that a few years ago, but a lot can change in a few years.
Kitty swung even higher, determined that she was going to go as high as she could. Would the swing break, or would she fall off? She couldn’t decide which one was more likely so there was only one way to find out. Kitty shrugged off her backpack and let it fall neatly beside the swing, so she could still see it while she swung. A determined expression was now on the blonde’s features as she kicked her legs a little to swing higher. Curiosity killed the cat, Kitty’s mind told her, but she totally ignored it. Logical was rather boring, after all. Why waste time listening to that when you can get out there and do daring things?
