It had started as a normal day for Addie, she woke up got dressed in one of her favorite dresses, Then walked down to the kitchen to get a quick breakfast, and go for a quick ride through the forest.
" Good morning M'lady. Off already?" She swung up onto her horse and looked down at the stable boy who spoke to her. " It's never to early for a good ride." She rode to the entrance of the stable and turned back. " Oh and if anyone asks, I'm in the library. Alright?" With a nod from the stable boy, she turned back around and raced to the forest. She slowed a little when she was on her usual riding trail, looking around at the trees growing along the trail. Addie usually rode when she was upset, or had to get away from castle life. It cleared her mind, and helped her think straight.
She turned the bend and something shiny caught her eye. She stopped immediately, getting off of her horse, and walking over to the object. She bent down to examine it some more. She had never seen anything like it. It seemed to be made out of some sort of metal, but it also had what looked like hard string all over it. She reached down to touch its surface. When her finger touched the cold surface of the metal, a bright white light shot out of it, and Addie's vision went black.
she opened her eyes to see that she wasn't in a forest anymore. She pulled herself up, and looked around. She was in some sort of village, but everything looked different. Everywhere she looked there was castles that rose to the sky, and there were horseless carriages everywhere. Addie started to panic a little, where was she? How did she get here? When was she?! " I.. I don't know where I' am!"
Alyssa was going for her usual stroll around the city, when she saw a woman in fairly odd clothing. "Ooo~ Is there a Renaissance Fair?" The woman seemed lost and a bit confused. She stared at her for a moment and then looked at the map that she had in her hand.
Alyssa walked over to her, wanting to help her find her way. "Hi! You look a bit lost, so I was wondering is you needed any directions."
"Oh, and I'm Alyssa. Alyssa Faye." Alyssa smiled and offered her map to the woman.

Addie looked at the woman wearing strange clothing, and swallowed nervously. " Um.. Yes actually I'am a bit lost. If you could show me the way to Ealdor." She took a shaky breath to answer Alyssa with her name. " I'm Lady Adelaide Fisher. Very nice to meet you Alyssa." She was very confused as to where she was or how she had gotten there. But it was either by sorcery, or science. And Addie was thinking it was something related to science.
"You have a beautiful name!" Alyssa smiled then thought for a moment."Ealdor? I'm sorry, Adelaide, but I have no idea where that is.."
She frowned a little bit as she saw people walking by who were staring at Adelaide with strange looks.
"But while you're here, let's get you some new clothes to wear!" Alyssa grabbed Addie's wrist and pulled her quickly past the huge crowd of people on the street, towards a small shop around the corner.
" 'New cloths' What's wrong with my current cloths?" She looked down at the current dress she was wearing. Then looked at the people they passed, and what they were wearing. She then looked back to Alyssa. " What's the year?" She asked as Alyssa dragged her into the corner store. Addie looked around at the cloths. She'd never seen anything like the building she was in then. It was filled with different clothing, and other things. " Wow" She breathed looking around at the cloths.
"Oh, there's nothing wrong with your clothes at all...It's just a bit different from everyone else's and you might look strange to them." Alyssa smiled gently.
"It's 2013!" She turned from Adelaide and started pulling dresses, skirts, pants, shirts and other articles of clothing from their racks and throwing them into a small cart, pushing them towards a dressing room. "Oh, wait!" Alyssa turned on her heels and grabbed Adelaide, pulling her toward the dressing room.
"Try these on!" Alyssa smiled and put the huge pile of clothes onto Adelaide's arms. "Choose the ones you like, and put them in a pile. I'll buy 'em for ya!"
2013? She wasn't even in her own time! Instead of arguing, Addie took the pile of cloths from Alyssa and walked into an empty dressing room. After a considerble amount of time sorting through the cloths, Addie walked out in her new outfit. A short pink laced dress, with black leggings, and black fabric boots. She wasn't really used to wearing cloths like this, but she would have to get used to it in this time.
" Thank you Alyssa. For doing this for me." Addie walked up to the counter holding a stack of new clothing, while wearing her currant one. Once all the cloths were paid for, Addie and Alyssa walked out the door carrying shopping bags filled with clothing. Adelaide was remarkably happy with her new cloths, but there was still something bothering her.
" Alyssa. I have to tell you something very important and please don't think i'm mad." She stopped and walked over to a empty alley way so no one would over hear there conversation.
" I'm not from here. This time I mean. I'm actually from what you would call now, ' Medieval Times'." Addie paused for a second hoping that she would believe her. " Before you ask no i'm not a part of some 'fair'. And I have no way of getting back home.To my own time." This was her real problem. Not that she wanted to go back, she loved it in this time. This was the first time she had gone anywhere but the villages around Ealdor. And she loved the thrill it gave her. But she did want to tell her mother that she was okay, and where she was going first. Addie was all she had left, and she didn't want her to worry about her.
Alyssa smiled at Addie and bought a few clothes herself, carrying shopping bags while walking outside.
" Alyssa. I have to tell you something very important and please don't think I'm mad."
Alyssa smiled. "Don't worry. What is it that's so important?"
" I'm not from here. This time I mean. I'm actually from what you would call now, ' Medieval Times'."
Alyssa stared at Addie without an expression on her face, but then smiled. "That's really cool! .....But...Is that even possible?"
She threw her own question away and listened to what Addie had to say.
" Before you ask no I'm not a part of some 'fair'. And I have no way of getting back home. To my own time."
Alyssa looked at her and thought deeply. She was actually a bit disappointed, since she thought that Addie wasn't having any fun here. "Hmm....I....Maybe you could..." Alyssa truly wanted to help her in any way she could, but she had no idea what to say.
