Name: Hello, I'm the Doctor. Just, just the Doctor. Don't call me Doc.
I've also been called The Oncoming Storm, and was known as Theta in my academy days. As for my birth name... well that's a secret.
Age: Oh, about.. Nine-hundred and seven?
Gender: Well I have never had a female incarnation. As far as I know, I've always been of the Male gender.
Species: Time-Lord. Last of the Time-Lords.
Planet of Origin: I was born on the planet Gallifrey, where most Time-Lords are loomed.
Occupation: I travel, through time and space, guess that makes me a Time traveler. Love going to Earth, though you humans sure can get yourselves into a lot of trouble.
Physical Description: Oh let's see... Where to start... How about, hair. Yeah let's start there.
Brown spiky hair, normally messy, from all the running, and attempts to pull at it when I get frustrated. Then again, that also happens when I realize some so obvious I couldn't believe I missed it.
Brown eyes. Old brown eyes. The things these eyes have seen, some of you wouldn't believe.
I'm about six feet, and an inch in height. Not too bad, kind of nice actually. You know, I think it was my second self that was the shortest. Well, either him or the seventh one.
Weight! About.. what, oh... one-hundred, eighty-seven, and a half pounds? You know what I never understood was, why you humans, are always getting so sensitive about how you look. More so the women than the men, but... I'm going to change the subject before Donna makes up her mind on if she should hit me or not.
What else to describe... Oh! Clothes. Of course.
I normally wear either a blue suit with brown pinstripes, or a brown suit with blue pinstripes. And for those special occasions. I have a black Tux, with a little black bow tie. Isn't that fun? Though.. I also seem to have bad luck when I where it..
As for the shoes... Converses. Either red or white, great for running. I'm being serious, their brilliant, and comfortable.
And I suppose the last thing to describe would be my trench coat. It was given to me by the one and only Janis Joplin. One of a kind, it's tan on the outside, and blue on the inside. Isn't that nifty!
Personality:
- Hyper
- Curious
- Oral Fixation. Oi! Not like that... I just have a habit of licking and tasting things.
- Starts rambling to self, usually while leaving everyone else completely confused
- Cheeky
- A bit rude at times
- A show off
- Protective of friends and companions
- No second chances, just that sort of man.
History: Well, I regenerated from my ninth incarnation, after taking extracting the Time Vortex from my companion Rose Tyler's head.
She had looked into the heart of the TARDIS, and well, no one is suppose to do that. It was burning her up, and it was going to kill her. So like I said, I extracted it from her head, and that cause my regeneration cycle.
After I regenerated into myself now, not myself previous. I discovered my new teeth, a bit weird at the time. Though Rose had a hard time believing I was still her Doctor. Well at first anyway.
She wanted me to take her home, so I did. I canceled the trip to Barcelona, the planet Barcelona, not the place. And I set the coordinates to her flat, on Christmas Eve. It was my Christmas present for her. Unfortunately, my regeneration went a bit wrong, somewhere along the process. Then I crash landed my TARDIS. No one got hurt luckily.
Before I knew it I had passed out in the street, only to wake up later that night. To a rotating Christmas tree of death, not a very nice thing to wake up to mind you. I stopped it though, with my sonic screwdriver. Well when I say I stopped it, I mean that I pointed my screwdriver at it and it sort of... exploded? ... No... Bursted into pieces.
I wasn't conscious long, in fact not long after I passed out again. Honestly, if Jackie just let me talk, I would've been able to tell her I needed tea.. That's all really, just some of those good ol' anti-oxidants to help get my system going.
Woke up in my TARDIS, on a Sycorax ship. Oh! I figured out what kind of man I was, all on that ship. Proved that their little trick was.. well that's all it was. A trick, an illusion.. a clever illusion. Well not that clever, I figured it out. Blood control, scary for everyone that falls for it. Completely harmless, though.
Got more than a little upset over miss Jone's Torchwood plan. So much so, that I practically took her out of office. All that took was four little words. 'Doesn't she look tired?' After that I had dinner with Rose, Jackie, and Mickey.
Then Rose and I went off to see the rest of the universe. We took Mickey along that time, well more like Rose brought him along. Saw Sarah Jane Smith again, she's still herself, love that about her. I'm still confused at what she and Rose were laughing about.
Went to a parallel Earth, Rose's dad, Pete, is there. Alive and married to the Jackie there, well... was married, she got 'upgraded' by the cybermen. Took care of some of them. Though, when we were about to leave from the parallel world, Mickey decided to stay there.
No worries, we saw him again. During the battle of Canary Warff, he showed up with these world hoppers. Those are almost as bad as a vortex manipulator, just without the headache and winded feeling you get after using one.
I lost Rose... during that battle... She.. She was helping me fix the mess that Torchwood had started, when she.. When she lost her grip, nearly falling into the void. I say nearly, because well, she would have if Pete, the parallel world Pete, hadn't hopped in and caught her. Before hopping back...
Anyway, what next.. Oh right, after that. I mean right after I contacted Rose for what I thought would have been the last time. A woman named Donna Noble, appeared in my TARDIS, while she was in flight mind you; in a wedding dress. Veil and all!
Turns out, the whole explanation for that was Hueon particles. She was filled with them, all because her fiance wanted to see the stars with the Racnoss. (Basically a giant spider, according to Donna.) He didn't last long.
Funny thing about Donna, she kept missing everything that was happening. I sort of found out why, later on..
That day was not my best, I'll admit. But I gave the Empress a choice, and she didn't take it. I had to do it, for Earth.. I flooded the whole facility, drowning her children at the center of the Earth. Luckily Donna was there, otherwise, I might have ended up killing myself.
Donna decided to stay on Earth, to travel or something. She told me to find someone, and I did eventually. Martha Jones was her name, she's a doctor too. Well learning to become a doctor. We saw Shakespeare, and Queen Elizabeth the first! Brilliant queen, don't know why she was mad at me. Actually that's not entirely true.. I do know, but I don't think I should say.
Captain Jack joined us for a little while.. Well when I say joined, I mean he grabbed ahold of the TARDIS as Martha and I took off. That ride killed him, again, and on top of that I had to stop Martha from attempting CPR on Jack.
He thinks that he can call that space pogo stick a time travel device. Yeah right! ... Though it did get Martha, himself, and I back to the twentieth century. After the Master took my TARDIS.
Oh that's right, the Master was back, managed to rule Earth for a year, before we set everything back to the moment when he killed the President. Year that never was, sure did give me back problems for awhile..
Martha left after that, her choice. Found out she fancied me, then again, I suppose I always did know. Just choice to ignore it.
Met Astrid, on the Space Titanic. Oh and Wilf, but he was on Earth, not the ship. Ironically that one almost sank as.. actually would it be crashed? Astrid died saving me.. She was so brave, then again, their all brave.
After that I ran into Donna again, we had to do charades from our chosen windows. She and I were investigating the same thing, only we didn't realize that the other was there until later when we nearly got caught by Madame Foster.
This time Donna came with me, and we went to Pompeii. Met Agatha Cristy, figured out what happened when she went missing those three days. Went to a library, well, a planet that was a library. There we met River Song... the Archaeologist, and turns out.. it was inhabited by the Vasta Nerada. A sort of piranha race, that look like shadows. The only way to know if they got you is to count the shadows.
Additional medical information: Two hearts, allergic to aspirin.
Role Play Sample: Almost there, he was almost at his TARDIS. All he had to do was run just a bit faster, and reach out for the handle on the police phone box. Then he'd be home free. These were the thoughts that were running through the Doctor's head as he pulled out the Tardis Key from his jacket pocket. Stretching his hand out towards one of the two blue wooden doors as he ran closer. Soon managing to wrap his fingers around the metal handle, all the while slipping into the keyhole, and turning to unlock it.
The sound of crackling leaves, and snapping twigs, alerted the Time-Lord to exactly how close his pursuers were. Oh they were close, but just a bit too late. As the Doctor managed to shuffle his way through his ship's doors. Making sure to lock it behind him, before sliding down the structure of the TARDIS doors.
He let out a tired sigh, as he began to talk to himself. "Never doing that again. Well... Can't really say never can I?"
The Doctor clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, as he started to get that sort of spacey look in his eyes. Then, not thirty seconds later, the Doctor pushed himself back onto his feet with a groan. Nearly skipping to the center console, as he began to spin some knobs, pull a couple levers, and type in his next destination.
"Alright! Where to next?" He asked as the TARDIS made that big church bell sound. "Oh I know, how about we visit twenty-seventh century
Earth. There's this shop... Somewhere in Cardiff, that serves really tasty chips. They actually fry the chips twice. Twice! Isn't that something, Ros-..." The Doctor suddenly paused in the middle of his mini-ramble, realizing his mistake. And for that moment, all but the sound of the TARDIS, traveling through the Time Vortex, was silent.
He leaned against a bit of the railing, crossing his arms across his chest, as he look about the empty console room. Eventually staring at the grit flooring, the guilt plastered on his face. It was his fault, and he knew that he could have done several things that might have kept Rose safe.
The Doctor could feel the threat of tears as his old brown eyes began welling up. The thought of his previous companion, his friend, his... It made both of his hearts feel as if they were being tugged down into his stomach. A warm wet tear slowly made a path down his guilt ridden face, only to be wiped away by his fingers.
He sniffed loudly, as he re-composed himself. Sliding his left hand into his trouser pocket as he stood up straight, and walked back over to the control console. Guiding his fingers over the keyboard to change the coordinates of his destination. Then placed his hand on one of the outer center columns ridged wall.
"Just you and me, ol' girl." The Doctor told his TARDIS in a soft tone. "Just you and me, exploring the universe."
To which the TARDIS seemed to hum, as she started to rematerialized outside a hospital that was sending off electrical disturbances.
