Name:
Melody Pond AKA River Song

"Oh, it varies. You know how time travel can be. Sometimes you meet me as a child, sometimes you meet me when I'm old. It's all over the place."
Gender:
Female
Species:
Hybrid
Planet of Origin:
"Which one? If you're referring to where I was born, that's Demon's Run. If you're referring to where I grew up, that's Earth. If you're referring to where I was conceived, that's the TARDIS. And if you are talking about that, then that's a little suggestive."
Occupation:
"It depends on what portion of my life you're talking about. For awhile, I was a psychopath. Then I was a doctor. Then I was a professor. In archaeology, of course."
Physical Description:
River Song has changed her physical form twice. She started off looking a lot like her mother, Amelia Pond. After getting shot, she regenerated. After getting shot by Hitler, she changed again, into her most common form. This form has curly, blonde hair, and hazel eyes.
Personality:
River's known for a flare of mystery, and a lust for adventure. From an early age, River's carved her own path and stuck to it. She's rebellious, stubborn, and all the things that drives the Doctor crazy. Her entire life's been intertwined with the Doctor's, so it's no surprise that she fell in love with him. River's been hiding her feelings and true nature all her life. She conceals emotions well, and often fools even the best of them.
History:
Melody Pond was born at the start of the Battle of Demon's Run. She was kidnapped by the Silence, and raised to be the woman who killed the Doctor. She ended up escaping the Silence as a child, regenerating, and grew up alongside her own mother as Mels, solidifying her own name by being the one her mother named her after. All the stories Amelia told about the Doctor rang within Mels, but she only showed it as plain interest. It didn't become obvious of her drive for the Doctor, until she pointed a gun at him and proposed to kill Hitler. During the trip, a short skirmish ensued in which Mels got shot by Hitler, and regenerated. Becoming the form she's most known for, she fulfilled her upbringing with the Silence by giving the Doctor a poisoned kiss and running off. The Teselecta, a time traveling justice robot filled with miniaturized people, attempted to make River suffer until eventually killing her, but the Doctor stopped them. River ended up using all of her remaining regenerations in one go to save the Doctor's life.
The Silence got to her after she became a doctor in archaeology. They were determined to have her fulfill her upbringing by forcing her into an astronaut suit that would come out of Lake Silencio and shoot the Doctor dead. But, in a twist of fate, River drained her weapon systems, and attempted to alter a fixed point in time. All of time happened at once, and an alternate reality was created. River attempted to find a way to get around killing the Doctor, but the Doctor wouldn't let her. Upon marrying the Doctor, River found out the truth that the Doctor was inside of the Teselecta. He survived, and River was sent to jail for "killing" the Doctor.
During the day, she was an obedient prisoner. But, River always managed to break out at night to spend time with the Doctor. She loved him dearly, and participated in all kinds of adventures with him. Then, at the Battle of Demon's Run, River revealed that she was Amy and Rory's daughter, Melody. After the Byzantium, she revealed to her parents that the Doctor wasn't dead, and that he had been inside the Teselecta the entire time.
Then came the Library. The Doctor had no idea who she was, but she knew everything about him. And in the end, River had to sacrifice herself to save everyone in the Library. But, it wasn't the last of her. On Trenzalore, she sent a message, and she opened the TARDIS by whispering his name. She was there, even though she should have been in the Library's main computer. Even in death, River still has her secrets...
Addition Medical Information:
River is like any normal human in most regards, thanks to losing all of her regenerations.
RP Sample:
The location was a beautiful cafe overlooking a forest of pink blossoms. River was dressed simply, yet elegantly. Her outfit was nothing important. A server stopped at her table, replenishing her steaming cup of tea. "The gentleman at the entrance requests your presence, Miss Song." River let her eyes wander back towards the main building, but picked up her tea. "He seemed impatient, Miss Song." River sipped the hot drink, and set the cup back down.
"Saria, usher the girls into the back, and make sure that none of the customers are seated outside. If things get loud, contact the authorities." The server nodded, and briskly returned to the building. River picked her cup back up, and took another sip. A man approached from the corner of her eye, but she paid him no heed.
"Where is it?" River reached for her cup of tea, but the man knocked it from the table. "Where is it?!"
These people weren't known for their patience. This man was no exception. "It's not here." She watched without a flicker of interest as he flipped the table over the balcony and into the forest below. "It was never here. By now it's already on its way back to the museum where your crumbling organization stole it from." River could tell he was going to go off. He was going to lose it. She just had to be patient.
"Fine. If I can't have the device, then I'm having your head on a silver platter." He was definitely going to attack her. "Now come, nice and easy, and nobody has to get hurt." Was he really going to attempt to use hostages? This was pathetic. A man who had lost his friends in pursuit of a device from a myth, only to be stopped by a devilish woman, was now threatening that very woman. He was pathetic. She almost felt sorry for him. It was due to the threat that it was an almost.
"I'm not going anywhere. I was having tea, before I was so rudely interrupted, and I'm going to continue to do so." Well, he didn't take kindly to that at all. He moved to draw a weapon from his side.
River drew hers first and shot him in the chest.
The next hour had been a flurry of police and witnesses, saying they had no idea what had happened. There were no leads to the man's murderer, but they weren't going to rest until whoever was responsible was caught and held responsible for their guilty actions. River thought it was funny. She tapped a few buttons into her vortex manipulator, taking one more look around.
It was a shame she never got to finish her tea... Oh well. River pressed the final button, and disappeared from where she stood.
