It had to be Galifrey! The 2nd version of the Defender just smacked his Tardis's control panel angrily, so hard that the motion knocked off his top hat. The Defender had decided to try and locate one of the Doctor's recorded past companions to see if any of them knew where or when he was. After he looked through the backlog he found the perfect one. When she traveled with the Doctor's 7th face she was known as Ace Mcshane, the odd thing was..there was a point in the log where the info just stopped. At that point, The Defender just put in all recorded info on the human into the Tardis and set it on it's way. When he landed he couldn't trust his eyes at first. The last great time war had burned it, but it looked somewhat..healed. The Defenders Tardis sat on the mountains of Solice and solitude, outside his door sat the citadel of the Time Lords.
"It can't be..it just can't."
The defender transferred the data on Ace to a wrist computer and strapped it to his wrist which would beep louder as he got closer. The not so young Timelord stepped out of his Tardis, locking the door and headed inside the somewhat war torn building. As he walked through the cracked halls following the beeps, The Defender just looked at the broken statues of the past presidents, as he walked a tear fell from his eye. The last time that the Time Lord had been here was the day of the war when his family were killed and he ran away, just two weeks before the Doctor ended it. This Planet, this cursed Planet were supposed to be Time Locked, not only that but humans were forbidden here so why..how was Ace here. As he turned through a few hallways the beeping got extreamly loud as he stood behind a woman.
"Ms.Mcshane? I am known as the Defender, or Adam Jackson in you perfer. If I may ask, why are you here..How are you here?"

Ok, Ace hated to admit it after the whole helping Susan regenerate she had felt more Timelord than human, maybe a little bit of what had been wrong with Susan had been transferred to Ace she couldn’t be sure, so she’d taken herself completely off the grid for the time being and if it was one thing Ace had become a perfectionist at over the years since she’d graduated out of the academy it was making sure she couldn’t be found, unless she wanted to be found.
But, when it all boiled down to it some part of Ace was human. And everyone knew humans as a species didn’t take long solitude very well.
She’d tried living among humans for a while but she’d noticed that in some respects she’d grown too different from them. So when she’d heard that there was a possibility that Gallifrey had returned Ace fired up her old bike, strapped her vortex manipulator that she’d skillfully acquired during her second incarnation, ok stole is more the word but you have no proof, and started hopping planets till she finally managed to find her way back to Gallifrey.
After parking her bike Ace started looking around the citadel for anyone who could give her answers as to how Gallifrey had come to be back. She wasn’t finding anyone, or at least she was starting to think that.
"Ms. McShane? I am known as the Defender, or Adam Jackson in you prefer. If I may ask, why are you here.. How are you here?" Ace held up a finger as she turned around to face the guy behind her “Nice to meet you Defender first question, how do you know who I am?”
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
It truly was her, it was the legend Ace Mcshane right in front of him! The Doctor had a bunch of famous companions through out his travels that The Defender had researched including Sarah Jane Smith, Rose Tyler, The Doctor Donna and of course Ace but he had no idea that in all of time and space that he would meet any of them esspecially the mysterious Ace. The Defender stepped forward slowly as Ace held up her finger to ask her question.
"So long story short,I used my TARDIS to look up all of the Doctors past companions to see if any of them towards his later regeneration's could help me find him. Apperently, according to the Time Lord records you are the second most famous companion he has ever had, next to one Sarah Jane Smith. It seems however, the Database is a bit..off. You don't look like you did when you were with The Doctor, for another matter..you are on GALLIFREY! This planet is supposed to be Time Locked! Neither of us should Bloody be here! My Tardis tracked you and here we both are..but..how? Mind filling in the pieces?"
The Defender stepped forward until he found an empty box and sat down and rubbed his hands over his eyes in frustration. This made absolutely no bloody sense! After a few minutes, The Defender stood up and just looked at Ace. He had only one reason that she could look different.
"If I may ask..Are you a time Lady? I know that's an odd question but it's the only bit of this whole thing that makes any kind of sense. I don't know how you could be though. I'm in my second regeneration but my cycle seems to have..been going wrong."
The defender then rubbed his temples as he had flashes of his past life and of his death. His head then jerked causing his neck to crack. In his eyes it seemed like the first regeneration was screaming out. The defender just watched Ace hoping she could shed light on things.

This guy seemed to Ace like he was about to blow an O ring the way he rattled on so, so she figured it was probably best to answer his questions before he did.
“Ok, I’ll answer your questions in return for some of my own.” She started to answer his question about filling in the blanks but stopped and watched him as he sat on the box for a few minutes and rubbed his hands over his eyes.
There was a small facial flinch from Ace when he asked her if she was a TimeLady “Yes I’m a Timelady, umm, for the most part I guess and as for the picture you saw of me that was probably taken oh, two, three hundred years ago when I was still human, but who’s counting.” she started to stop and leave it at that but when she could tell he probably wouldn’t understand.
“The Doctor sponsored me to go to the academy, and when I graduated with full Timelord rights. The powers at be decided that if I was going to be a graduate of the academy best do it proper and due impart to some genetic tweaking they were able to make me into a Timelord duel hearts and all.” she smiled a little “With only minor flukes of course.” Ace pointed to her eyes where one was a nice shade of green and the other a purple.
Frowning a little she continued to watch Adam after she spoke “Are you alright?”

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
The Defender just rubbed his temples as the flashes got a bit worse. He shut his eyes and tried to focus on what Ace was saying, she was something brand new that he had never seen before. She was like a hybrid but not and he wanted to no more. The defender just took slow deep breaths until the flashes of his past life stopped. He then looked back up at Ace, the strain on his face as he nodded.
"You know how when Time Lords regenerate, our past life sort of fades into the background to make room for our new selves? When I regenerated to who I am now, my first regeneration something went wrong. Instead of just fading..it just piled on top, I get these painful headaches and flashes of my past life. I was gonna have it seen to but as you can see..this planet is rather empty. Do you happen to know how we are here? Oh that's right you said you had questions, go ahead I didn't mean to interupt you, how very Victorian of me? have you ever been to that time? Bloody good tea."
The Defender then took a deep breath and then groaned as if his brain was over heating.
"Sorry, go ahead my dear. I guess I have a gift for Gab now."
The Defender then covered his mouth so that he would let Ace speak, a new body was like a new pair of shoes. You had to get used to them, The defender had only been new for about 100 years so he was still working out the kinks, it didn't help that he had lost track of the Nomad after he regenerated...NO! He couldn't think of the past it would only make the flashes worse. He just looked at ace in her mismatched eyes and smiled from under the hand covering his mouth.
The Darwin rumbled on above the rocky planet, orbiting around it's tired and lifeless atmosphere. Cruccibul in the ship's Observatory, jotting down notes on the appearance of the planetary mass below. Size, that might classify Solar Rank, Class, and Main Characteristics. The blue tint made it look like a, what, a Albronon? Maybe that would suit the planet for a name. No time for that, though, as the observatory suddenly lit up a bright red.
"Can't get a bloody brake, can I now?"
Cruccibul rolled down from the observation room and headed for the console room. On entering the room, one could notice the immediate presence of, again, more bright lights, along with monitors reading out "Time-Space Flux in Process!". Cruccibul casually rolled over to the Maintenance panel and shut off the alarm system. Nothing to worry about, Cruccibul thought, as long as there were no...
BANG!
The ship rocked to it's side, then rocked on over to the other side. The Dalek could only roll back and forth across the console room, as the ship tottered helplessly out of control. Then, it stopped, and everything was fine. Then the alarms went off again, but louder.
"I know there is a Flux, OK! Shut off the alarms for goodness sake!"
Cruccibul rolled back over to Maintenance and shut off the lever for a second time. Good, now a full scan would prove effective. He boot up the ships recording instruments and wrote out an analyse path for the current Space-Time passage. Though the Universal Industries Space-Time Scientific Instruments have proved, well, a bit sketchy. But never the less, a full report was returned in about 4 minutes.
"Computer, read out Space-Time Report. Give close attention to any imminently hazardous anomalies.... scratch that, only list such anomalies."
The computers voice calmly responded with the report, "The current Space-Time area has suffered from a current One anomaly. The current anomaly signifies a Space-Disturbance, in that of a planetary mass that was not present within the last thousands of years."
"Were is it? Better yet, to get my point across, what is it? Can you get me a name of planet, or at least a description?"
The computer processed this thought for some time, with the impatient Dalek engaged and attentive.
"Gallifrey, the planetary mass is called Gallifrey."

Ace watched Adam with a little bit of interest as he spoke, when he asked her if she knew how they were able to get through able to get there she shook her head no, “That was one of the questions I was going to ask you.”
She raised an eyebrow when he covered his mouth with his hands “…ok.” reaching up she rubbed the back of her head thinking of what it was she was going to ask him “Like I said one of the things I was gonna ask you is if you knew how we were able to get to Gallifrey but since you and I have that same question we can go ahead and forget that one. Second question was why were you looking for The Doctor?”
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
Cruccbibul processed this for a moment. He came to the conclusion that he had maybe misheard the computer, or that the computer had mistaken.
"Computer, please re-analyze the planetary anomaly."
The computer took only a few seconds this time, before returning it's report.
"New report shows that present planetary anomaly is named Gallifrey." "No, the bloody planet is not Gallifrey! It was destroyed in the last days of The Time War!"
Out of anger, Cruccibul shot down one of the monitors, as it crashed down on the control panel with a shower of sparks. The Dalek rolled out of the console room and back towards the Observatory. He entered the Observatory, were he ordered up a Spacial Mapping of the current space sector. Suddenly, the room was filled with stars, with planets and ships. Cruccibul now stood in the middle of a hologram of space.
"Close in on anomaly labeled Gallifrey." Cruccibul added, with anger in his voice
The hologram shifted forwards, bringing up a more detailed photograph of the anomaly. Zooming in further, Cruccibul could finally make out the planetary mass. And of course, the photo didn't lie. Information was recorded by UI Discovery Teams, but the photos were taken by drones, sent through space. This photo could be no older than a week old. Problem with that, is that Gallifrey only JUST showed up on the Darwin's systems. So how was that possible?
There was only one way to find out.
"Computer, plot course for the anomaly Gallifrey."
